Quote:thanks for the guidlines i'll take a look at let you know how i get on and which ones i pickAlthough all of the primaries can be ungodly helpful, the usually most looked for power sets tend to be Kinetics and Empathy. As good of a power sets they are (especially if you use Empathy's buffs along with heals), all of the power sets can function quite well on teams. Storm Summoning is usually looked down upon for their knockback, to which has a large learning curve to be effective. Force Fields also utilizes knockback as a support role, but their several shields tend to make it up more than Storm's other powers in some people's mind.
Cold Domination is a good set on both the buffing and debuffing front. Sonic is great for teaming as it has several ally toggles and shields that are quite nice to any team that already has high defenses. Trick Arrow takes a bit to warm up to but is stronger later in the game.
If you want an early set and forget team boosting while being effective, I'd point you towards Cold, FF, or Sonic. Empathy mindset changes around level 30 or so, and some tend to dislike that. Kinetics, TA, and Storm are very active primaries. Dark and Radiation are as I said, grab bags of various abilities. I have at least one character with each of these power sets. I don't tend to have too much problem finding a team with any of them on Virtue. However, I also tend to look for non-AE farms where people tend to be more appreciative of the non-"Healer" power set (Empathy). Also, I'm not afraid to start a team if I'm really gunning to play a character. -
i'm looking to be teamed based support role.
As every other mmo i have ever played i have never been able to get teams as i tend to pick a class that no one wants so this time i'd like to be a team player -
Hi all Right i have finally decided to make a hero after playing a villain for a while, and i know i want it to be a defender...only problem is i have no idea what power pools to pick from, i want to be able to survive and look after teams mates, any idea what to pick from or any good hints
-
ok so i am just rolling my first stalker not sure what power pools to pick, i am hoping to base him off a striking scorpion for warhammer 40K, anyone got any idea what power pools would work or even a good solid build

sweet i put that too him he will probably use it thanks ^^
yeah i would sooner aid my minions and stay out of it ^^ -
I am trying to help my brother out, he has chosen thugs and traps for his MM. and doesn't really know what he is doing, he has heard bad things about traps, but want to give them a chance so can anyone suggest a good build for him.
i would figure one out but i suck at working out builds that is why my ninja/poison MM is so sucky at the minute lol
any help would be greatly appreciated. -
cool thanks for the info
any specific order of powers you would recommed? -
hi just started playing as a stone melee willpower brute and was wondering if anyone has got any advice. on how to build it up, or even those two power pools work well together. just looking for advice in general i guess, as this is my first ever brute.
Gol -
seems like i thread has got some supporters yay me lol
i wouldn;t mind if the tails weren't animated, just some movement like a ragdoll would be fine.
I'm pretty sure there are loads of people out there that re just begging for a decent tail to complete there look, or have so many ideas but do not make them because of the tails. -
definately, i made a dragon character but the snake tail just looks silly, we need proper tails
-
i don;t know what CO is but it would be great if they moved aswell yeah
-
thanks thats helps alot, the axe and the sand are permanent ^^ so yay ^^
thanks again for the help -
Before anyone says anything yes i know the game already has tails, and they are great.
All i wanted to suggest, was a couple more ideas for tails really, a proper wolf tail would be good as then it could go with the monstrous head and body costume sets so peopel could actually make a werewolf, instead of having a tail-less one, and maybe it could be also mde to look like a fox tail if you put the right pattern on it.
Anyway thats it for my idea -
i know this has nothing to do with you original post, but it is still about veteran rewards, so i thought i would post it here instead of opening a small thread that would more than likely be pointless after one post....anyway sorry for the blabbing
i was also looking at the vet rewards and the amout of time i have been with you game, i have been with them over 12 months and they say i have eraned a prestige power: ghost slaying axe, or sands of mu..
how do i get to pick one of these items?
same with the sprints
