Indeed it has some hickups, but its far far far better then the old forums, with the invalid form and timeouts on posting. But overal its going pretty fast here
-
Since i already have 5 SS characters, i was looking at the Ice melee set.
A while ago they gave the tier9 footstomp alike power some damage (unlike the blaster version), and if i read correcty it now has the exact same stats regarding cooldown and damage. (no knockdown, but sleep, oh well).
I want to make another tanker, a shield one, but i got a bit fed up with SS.
In terms of overal damage, can ice come along nicely now? Ice is less common resisted then SL, and the -recharge of each power should help my survivability, but i dont want to spend 20 minutes pondering on a boss just to get him down. (KO blow is awsome dmg). -

If both names are yours, can you then pick the one that will ge back the original name, or will it be done automaticly?

Quote:Easy on thereWell, I'm pretty much done with this thread since NO ONE seems to understand why almost the entire group getting scattered out of AoE range is a problem (that's not an exaggeration at all, literally every minion except two or three goes flying and runs away). Thanks for the responses, but I'm gonna let this thread die or become a joke thread like most on these forums. >_>
Anyway, i know the problem, i have 5 MM's myself along with a nrg blaster and defender.
But as i do AE alot with my controller, 99% chance we get some form of knockback (kheldians), but using the AoE immobilize locks all mobs 100% in place and can let them spam away every bit of knockback there is.
Just have a dominator around, earth is very good on this, and once u got them close first spam the aoe immobilize and then let the MM do its thing.
edit.. freaking i just noticed this topic was already 6 pages long - i replied from page 3.
Anyway in short, controllers and dominators are your friend, love em, hug em and let them be faster then those knockback frea.. players. -
Quote:Yes people we did it! We managed to even fool the big guys at the US side that we actualy are reasonable
to be well spoken and reasonable
But i already got my popcorn ready, there will be some juicy discussions, specialy regarding builds or gameplay (i wont mention AE, farming.. oh bummer, i just did), there is quite a difference in perspective in those cases.
At least now i can continue my evil plan to conque.. no wait, other paper, my everlasting quest to put mercs under dev's attention, give em some love
Are there alot of those grammar people on this board? EU side we never really attacked eachother on used grammar, but i dont know how its here? (as US-english and UK-english is quite different, for the non-english speaking folks it would be even worse - schevening schevening hahahah schevening!). -
Thats the weird thing, there is no SinergyX on this board.
My US account is _NA, my EU account is _EU.. Luckely i got a 3rd and 4th account, so i just go snatch that name too -
Its more like form of Schizophrenia, my evil me is stalking my other me.
Now to find mini-me. -
-
I knew it i knew it i knew it!
2 accounts with the same name = doom!
Now i got a tog-tag being from europe, might as well go use my US account again
And oooh we still have all PMsOOOH!!! and all my posts! Well nearly all, who cares

What's REALLY funny, is listening to Dutch people speak English.
Or should I say... "ssshpeek Englissshh"
[/ QUOTE ]
That are only who did not have English lessons since Middle school, like most of our government officials
I am so ashamed when I see those guys trying to speak English...
[/ QUOTE ]
Ok thats true. Some of the high dutch idio.. people really speak english like they only did some english for dummies.
I've been in UK for 3 months, the people over there really were amazed about my english and how i speak, often even better and more understandable then the citizens.
And them ladies in the pub, they liked the accent
But i believe irish people can pronounce the G, from that uberlong townname ending at gogogoch or such. -

OK, yes I did know that. Loved den Bosch. But the beach at den Haag is still refered to as 's-Gravenhage isn't it?
[/ QUOTE ]
No, that is scheveningen -
[ QUOTE ]
Oh, and I found 's-Hertogenbosch harder to get my tongue around.
[/ QUOTE ]
easy: Den Bosch
Like 's-gravenhage.. its DEN HAAG. Stupid old dutch. -

A Dutch friend of mine bought me a Dutch for Dummie's book. Even with the audio CD, I can't make the sounds needed...

The first thing i learned my ex gf, was the onion: ui. So she could at least pronounce it.
So the whole day long she was going: uiwwwww uiwwwwww uiwwww.
Anyway, this is a great one:

At a certain point he says : godverdomme (at the circle of old ladies), then u know how to say g or ch.
And ofcourse.. ZAKJE!
The most cool thing about dutch, basicly nobody in the world can understand it (apart from old colonies of the netherlands). Even germans hardly can understand us, while we can pretty much understand them (well, those who did a bit of german).
And that, by far, is the best thing about dutch, you can scold someone while smiling at him, he still thinks you're giving him compliments -
[ QUOTE ]
I'd pronounce it as "over dude like"
[/ QUOTE ]
Very very close.
However, ui is something english doesnt have as prononc..pronouncat.pronounch... 'sound'.
My ex-gf actualy tried to learn dutch, its one of the hardest, if not the hardest, languages to learn. Like the saying: its double dutch to me. -

What are you on about? She was right on the nose! It really was a story about a werewolf wearing a hat that was pulled over its eyes down too far so it nearly stepped on my foot after which I asked the case cop in a dialect he'd understand to breeze him to the tide!
[/ QUOTE ]
So that is what i am uh? A case cop?
I like the name
Zou ze het snappen: Gouden meisje? -

[/ QUOTE ]
I guess I could make up a meaning form the words that look like English words
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh please, do try
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, "vervolg" is obviously "werewolf", and "het" is hat, or maybe "hot" - so the first part is something about a werewolf in a hat, or a hot werewolf, possibly wearing a hat.
And "Mijn fout" is either "my fault", "my foot", or "mind my foot" - perhaps the werewolf in the hat is standing too close to him?
[/ QUOTE ]
HAHHAHAHAHAHAH Serious you are damn original on that
(fout = mistake, mijn = mine/my)

I do hope devs know all this time is deducted from the 72hours downtime. So u guys got 71.5 hours left.

I got the word "smiley" - but that's all

He says that is good that the EU and US forums finaly migrate, our superior intelect can then be shown across the world!
(yes, the netherlands is founder of that stupid continent called US, its ours!).
