If you all want a fair solution to rage listen up, and yes I mean the Developers also. First of all the endurance should come off right at the start, not from the rear like hasten. Secondly and this is the real deal and final rebuild for all of us, while rage is running we should have a 20% accuracy drop, and yes we should be able to compensate for it with enhancements and powers like focused accuracy. Even though we compensate for it it takes away from other areas in our build, after all look at the endurance needed to run focused accuracy. And if we add accuracy enhancements in our attacks to try and escape the drop then we will lose damage or other effects there. It is right, it is fair, and I can't believe I had to tell you how to do it. If you go with this suggestion then I suggest you stop allowing us to add accuracy enhancements to rage, sort of defeats the purpose. If you are in the mood to grant wishes I also suggest you allow us to add damage enhancements to rage.

are you freakin kidding me? an accuracy drop? i'd respec out of rage asap if they did that... i miss enough as it is when not using rage... if my accuracy went down while using? i'd be swinging at air 90% of the time... it'd be an utterly useless power... i'd rather take it as it is now witha 50% end drop then any accuracy drop unless it was at the end... maybe 20 seconds of a 25% accuracy drop... that way you could still use taunt you just couldn't really attack much -

I mean seriously, are you saying that when you die your whole team dies 10 seconds later? That's some pretty bad players your playing with.

Not excactly. All it takes is an AoE power after rage drops.

seen it used... seen everybody live after.... again... you just need a good team where everybody does there job... small or big... if everyone is doing there job they should survive the 10 seconds just fine.. i've used it with a team of 8 and a team of 4... the team of 8 had 2 controllers 2 blasters 2 scrappers a tanker and a defender.... the 2 blasters were using AoE damage a lot and used it during the drop and still lived with no problem... i'm worried that if they change rage yet again it won't be so good this time.... face facts... there will always be some sort of disadvantage when rage drops... and it's not going to be a disadvantage you like... if it's a disadvantage you like then it's probably not a disadvantage.... personally i think rage needs a bigger disadvantage... i think it should be like it is but with a large def debuff... say 25% or so -

After getting rage and using it on various enemies last night, not once did I have a problem. grouped, soloed, etc. with my final conclusion I express this:
Why in gods good name would you still complain about rage. Having a 400-500 hit knockout blow with two recharge SO's in it, is amazing. Also there is like LITTLE penalty. Most likely by the time you jump into a big fight you'll already have shot off a taunt and hit a few enemies, thus securing aggro for the few moments you're not able to fight.
By the time you get back in, if the aggro is broken, taunt will be up to the task.

i've been using Rage steadily since the change and there's only been one death during that downtime... Maybe you guys are just teaming with bad players? Cause most all of the teams that i'm on are able to survive for a few seconds without me. I mean seriously, are you saying that when you die your whole team dies 10 seconds later? That's some pretty bad players your playing with. There have been times where I've been the highest lvl player on the team and seriously messed up and died within the first 15 seconds of battle (forgot to turn my toggles back on..heh) and my team survived long enough to rez me and get me back in the fight.
Rage as it stands is superb. I wish people would just shut up and quit whining before they change into something worse. I agree that the last version wasn't that great but even then I used it regularly. This version is even better but I worry that if we keep whining they'll just ditch it altogether...and I love the power as it stands.
basicaly... Rage rocks... Devs... pllease please please leave it as it is and ignore these people -

From what I have seen in other posts, it would look like Invinc is not providing any DEF during the 10 secs of down time from the Rage crash. So, for an Inv, not only can you not attack, you get a double whammy on your DEF, too.

i'm not doubting this... but i don't see any difference to my def with granite on... even after the drop mobs still don't hit me very much or do very much damage -

Ok now THAT was funny. And the blaster on our sg doesn't do either - she flies. And now that she has SO's and accuracy, that girl packs a MEAN wallop!
We LOVE blasters... heroic ones.

yes it's much better to stay and die then to run away... rest quickly and come back and actually help instead of laying on the ground smelling the floor
i like blasters who run away when they're almost dead... cause usually (being a tanker) i can survive without them for a little while... so if they run away... rest...and come back... i'm much happier then if they just stayed and died... ditto for all AT's.... it's much smarter and better teamwork to run away and recuperate then to stand there and die... since when has dieing helped anyone?
back on topic... i absolutely LOVE my tanker and have absolutely no problems with him whatsoever... i think rage is great where it is... i think it would be good to do the mild change where either taunt works or a 99% dam reduction instead but i'm hapy with the way it is now... i guess us new players who haven't played every AT out there up to 50 just aren't used to doing the damage of blasters or scrappers and therefore don't expect to
and the statement made that we're just provoke bots is a bunch of bunk... i've only got my attacks 4 slotted (1 acc, 1 end reduce, 2 dam) and i do enough damage to take down purple bosses solo... sometimes quicker then scrappers... all this whining about tankers being broke just makes me sick... if i'm on a good team and can get either SB or AM i feel like an unstoppable juggernaut, and have several times been the last man standing... and yet we're not powerful enougH?? please -

From what I'm hearing, it sounds like it would only take one small tweak to accomplish what the devs seem to want while still making itvery useful.
Someone has suggested that for the 10 seconds, instead of no attacks permitted, apply a massive (99%?) damage reduction on your attacks. Taunt still works, the provoke-attack still works. It even fits the concept, after the rage wears out your attacks will land very weakly on your opponents.

does anyone know for sure if mud pots still works during that time? again i guess it's just me but i didn't have any real problems with the entire time last night... i guess i was just teaming with people who knew what they were doing... we were doing the manticore TF with a group of 8 and i used rage all throughout the TF and no one ever died during that 10 second period... and we only had 1 "real" healer... had a team of 1 tank (me) 2 controllers, 1 defender, 2 blasters and 2 scrappers ranged from 31-33 (i was 32) and no deaths during down time... ever
on the flip side.... is it just me or does taunt actually miss sometimes? many times i've tried using taunt to pull a bad guy of a teammate and have him never ever move.... am i doing something wrong? -
i guess i'm just dumb cause i don't have any other higher lvl alts... but i'm playing a 32 stone/ss tanker and i love rage and i had handclap and used it frequently (to good effect) but recently respeced out of it to pick up mud pots (which i'm not too thrilled with... personally i'm quite happy with rage and see no need to have it changed... i have not died yet from the end drop... my rock armour drops but it's got such a quick reload time and my end goes up so quick from stamina that as soon as i notice that it's dropped i can put it back up again and i'm fine.... and now that i'm 32 if i'm using rockarmour when the end drop hits then i'll switch on granite armour and i'd be utterly fine... hurl i haven't gotten yet so i can't really say much but if it does the same damage as haymaker with a range of 40 i'd be happy... i'd probaly slot it up with 2 or 3 range increases and an acc and be happy with it
