    yeah i tried to focus on endurance reduction where i could because of how quickly my blue bar dies right now. i guess with the alpha slot for endurance reduction, that might not be a problem at 50. but 36-50 is a long time.

    also, as far as gaussians in rage, i will have some downtime when i dont have rage on. but invincibility will be on all the time, thats why i thought it better to put it in inv. but then again i dont know how long the rage downtime is, so if its not long then maybe it's better.

    edit: i see, with all the lotg you put in, rage is now perma.

    ah i think i see where i've gone wrong. boxing needs a set with defense too. i got greedy for recharge but with another 3.75% this would be even closer to where it should be.

    ok, i tried to work in some of the suggestions. i found a spot for the gaussians set too (i already have 4 of those laying around so thought that might be thriftier). and i think this has more global recharge as well. much cheaper anyway, (aside from the uniques). plus down the road i can strive for the arma set to put in foot stomp.

    thanks for the advice. as far as using touch of death goes, i thought i'd go for it because i got 3 touch of death recipes from reward rolls, but it may be better to make them and sell them and buy what would work better then.

    i know the alpha slot is a long ways off for me, but perhaps going the endurance reduction route would be best. in that case i dont have to worry so much about sucking wind and still maintain the usefullness of the powers. (without slotting them for end-reducers instead of dmg/recharge)

    i guess this build doesnt have much in the way of global recharge, i know theres places to put lotg's in, but it seems to be general concensus to go for the def cap and see what else you can get in after that.

    its currently at lvl 34. with 4 slots in stamina. right now i run weave, tough, unyeilding, temp invulnerability, invincibility, and combat jumping. i have endurance reducers in all of them. i also have 1 endurance reducer in each of my attacks. most of them are slotted how i want, except for foot stomp which only has 4 slots as of yet. i've begun collecting recipes for the io's that i'm going to slot soon. (shooting for recipes in the 38-45 level range). i know kinetic combats and touch of the death are really expensive, but i've been lucky with some drops as well. i can't as of yet, afford to put it all together, so its going to be 1 set at a time. maybe i should rather ask, which sets should i start with. defense? or go for the nice bonuses from the melee and pbaoe sets first.

    so at the moment, playing this character, i have a lot of endurance issues. the slots in rest and sprint are for stamina and health. i believe i'll be eventually 5 slotting stamina with performance shifters. im wondering, is this going to have endurance problems until i get the epic powers? or can i go without some toggles.

    i grabbed all the toggles i could except manuevers because everyone says "layer defense". but i think im over the resistance cap with my io choices anyway.

    i know this is a fairly common brute, so maybe some of the ss/inv masters could give me a hand.

    this is my first ever try at io'ing a character. i know my resistance is over. the slots in sprint and rest are for stamina and health. probably a performance shifter and a couple end/mod io's. i think maybe i could use one more attack and one less toggle, but not really sure which direction to go in.
  8. once you hit 22, put 3 SO end-reducers in hot feet. its still going to drain you, but even though it wont feel like you're doing much, even hitting brawl once in a while, you'll be doing good damage overall.

    things like perma-pa and perma dom are going to become a lot more common now. power to the poor people who cant afford the good sets!
  10. i've tried a lot of dom combinations, and the one that stands out to me is earth/fire. its not frustrating to level, you get good powers at early/mid/ and end game, it can help out a duo just as well as an 8 man. just really fun, useful, and survivable(for a dom)

  12. i fought against archon burkholder and he wasn't effected by decieve.
  13. well, for my playstyle it suits me. i tried a few blasters at first, and this has a similar style, except you can keep the bad guys from getting to you for a lot longer. so far its been nice, aside from the "un-confusable" enemies.
