II. Set Up:
People should start gathering in Pocket D at 8:00PM Eastern, in anticiaption of an 8:30PM start.

Anyone that has signed up and not arrived by 8:20PM may lose their reserverd spot.
Anyone that is not signed up and still wishes to join is encouraged to head to Pocket D between 8:00 & 8:30pm.

Upon arrival send tell to base access member for your team and await invite.
Wait in Pocket D or MDK Supergroup base for teams to assemble.

There are also at least seven known standbys.

III. Strategy:
A. Courtyard of Shadows:
1. Gather with your team near obelisk and wait for other teams to ready.
2. Clear Rularuu spawn and drop the obelisk's shield.
3. Target obelisk and drop to 20% health. (There is a special pop up window for obelisk health)
4. Again clear Rularuu spawn and drop the obelisk's shield.
5. Target obelisk and defeat it. (Assuming all teams are on pace)
6. Once all 3 obelisks are defeated within 30 seconds of each other, the portal to the cathedral will open.

Some timing adjustments will likely be needed here, the key point is that all three obelisk be defeated at the same time.

B. Inside the cathedral
1.) Each team will be assigned a cube
2.) Teams will simultaneously begin assault on mobs at each cube. Once mobs are destroyed, shield will drop and AV will be vulnerable for 45 seconds. Mobs will then respawn at cubes.
3.) Each team must go to their assigned cube a fast as possible once the shield goes up and the Rularuu spawn.
3.)One melee toon to return to teams' cube slightly early to help localize spawns for quick killing.
4.)All -Regen debuffs on AV when shields drop!

C. Lanaru the Mad
There are two options for AVs in the trial, IF the much more troublesome Lanaru the Mad spawns a couple special considerations I would like to mention.

1)Ranged toons stay at range!
2)Ranged toons huddle together when shields drop!
3)If by 3rd shield drop it is apparent we are not making progress, I will call off trial and attempt a 2nd attempt hoping for Ruladak the Strong spawn.

OK, I tried to keep instructions short and to the point.

Timing is critical in this trial, need to make sure you are where you're supposed to be, and attacking the right things at right times.

Raids, no. Team, sure. Once I learn the new system, still waiting to do my 1st post I9 Hami Raid!!!

Ya, we were talking about it last night, forgot the Power Liberator was specifically for the IoP & not the raid itself.

I usually look here when figuring badge rankings.

PS, Milky, power liberator is pretty easy to get....

In the same boat as you Shoshara, need all three. let me know when, sadly my main badger is my scrapper, but I'd be willing to run each more than once as needed.

There was something about killing the GMs to make hami spawn, & then there's EoE's are now needed to resist hami damage?

After the Kadabra Kill/Midnighter Club Event an impromptu Hamidon Raid ensued.

Raid Leader Outlet Parrish did a wonderful job organizing the teams and getting the monster hunt started. Unfortunately we ran into one of the infamous Monster Walls in the Hive, which caused a complete wipe of those raiding. Personally my game froze when going to the hospital, by the tyme I was able to log back in, I was informed that the raid had been cancelled, but that another attempt would be scheduled for next Friday, February 26 9:00PM Eastern.

I thought I should start a thread to discuss strategy & also help get the word out. You can always /chanjoin "Raiders Inc" to join Liberty's Raiding Channel, if anyone knows an OP announcing the raid in the MOTD would be nice too

I'll start with a few basics that should be taken care of before raiding begins:

1)Use a costume with no cape or aura
(Will help reduce overall lag, especially for those with slower machines)

2)Add Raid Leader to local friends list for easy assist so people don't have to search for raid leader in the group.

3)Assist Macro (/macro assist "assist") without the ()s. This allows people to target the raid leader and hit that macro, then they will be attacking same target as raid leader.

4)Please put your powers/AT in search comment & look for team once you are enroute to Raid (May take a few minutes for search comment to actually change)
ie: "Dark/Elec Def" (put powersets first as search comment display is short)

Anyways, I'm excited to see Liberty attempting Hami Raids again, hope to have more success next tyme.
