.... my bad. This machine has a 160 GB hard drive; I think the 512 is in addition to that.
[/ QUOTE ]
You should keep the 160 Gig of Hard Drive storage space... just the way it is and that is fine. You also need to change the additonal 512 Megs of RAM... to 2 Gigs of RAM by adding more RAM into the machine. Then (assuming the computer is relatively new) your game play and everything else you do on that computer will load fast enough. -

What stirred me back to reality was the first "Go kill this habitual troublemaker" mission. I journey for a few minutes, find what looks like the spot, to see 6 people standing in a line to nowhere. It's then that I realize, these people are waiting for said monster to spawn so they can have their turn to kill it. "Oh crap," I thought to myself, "this is just like another (IMO) overrated, massively populated MMO I once played. RUN AWAY!"
[/ QUOTE ]
Because the mechanics chosen for that 'other' game made it necessary to do this out on the open grid. There is no 'Instancing' for killing that pesky MOB... and therefore the Players are all stuck out there waiting their turn.
Haven't they learned after all these years? Instancing works! -
It would be easy to say just ... With this Popular Forceware Driver
But you say Centrino.. so is this in fact some laptop?? -
Sorry, but it stands to reason that they won't 'allow' you to Play Co* on their Networks. Something about... you know... going to classes and getting good grades and graduation... stuff like that. And oh yeah, protecting all the students there from the evvvviiils of the Internet? What were they thinking??

I load COV, and the screen goes black, except, at the very top of the screen, I see the Windows Taskbar, and I see that City of Villians is running, I can hear the theme music, but ...
The machine at that point is basically locked up.

And what exact machine and equipment are you running on? -
I thought Paragon used radios and Rogue Isles used newspapers for all their 'top secret instructions.'

Here's #11: Stan and Lou in Kings Row (Again)
Edited to change YouTube link, re-uploaded different mix.
[/ QUOTE ]
I am listening to improvements in the timing and mix of this one. The two vocal characters step on each other's lines less and less... and their voices are clear easy to focus on over any background/sound-effect tracks. This is a true sign of progress... and the Talent getting 'comfortable' with the comedic pacing in each new episode. -

sent a compressed sound file in a different format (16K Hz when I record in 44.1K Hz), but hey, them's the breaks.

And then there is the Vocorder-pitch aspect and resulting flange-artifacts. -

'bout time people noticed Paint's existence, sheesh...

Sometimes, the best is yet to be discovered. Now with their latest free release... it might be. -

I can hear them on my speakers, but the level does drop. I think I can try to re-mix just those lines.
[/ QUOTE ]
Do you have independent control of the Reverb effects-level? I would simply reduce that level in the mix for any future 'tunnel/sewer' episodes. -
...Totally FREE replacement for MS Paint. And now it works with XP and Vista 32 and 64!

"This is Atlas-Park, Stan... it always does that."

Technically, these tracks are sonically well improved. But I just wanted to make sure? Was it your intention to truncate the first 'Outbreak'... leaving off the attack scene by the Hero as we heard in the first attempt at the recording?
-
Well, if you can live with the detail and compression-loss that .JPG provides, fine and dandy. It irks me whenever I see it... so I ALWAYS take .TGAs in-game, and PS here doesn't mind. Irfanview is happy as well. The files are ONLY an average of 2.5 Megs per screenshot. A drop in the bucket.
I leave the 'compressed' files for final Web display purposes only. -

OOO OOO! I got a request for screenshot takers!!!
Turn on antialiasing and leave your shader on high.

And please... PLEASE... turn off those gawd-unnecessary UI Interfaces when all you want to show is the action. We really don't need or care to know that you have every Badge and Accolade under the game's sun. Or that you group your wakies all on the second-line. Just use the in-game screenshot without the UI captured and more of your screenies will be Golden. -
