Hey I'm not alone! Well, thats sort of a relief, sort of not. It seems to happen consistently on my main on beta (Which is where I first crashed), and then sometimes on other characters.

Ok, since I'm not sure, here is the info CPUZ gives me on my motherboard:
Manafacturer: OEM_MB
Model: NARRA3 3.02
Chipset: NVIDIA MCP61
Southbridge: NVIDIA MCP61
LPCIO: Fintek F8000
EDIT: I managed to return my computer to normal. I haven't tested to see how CoH reacts, but disaster is averted. -
So at this point I do believe my computer can get the Nvidia download. So if I am correct I should:
1:Run that scan you gave me.
2: Restart my computer
3: Download the new (old?) driver.
4: Never attempt to fix anything myself again. -

Okay, before you do anything else, make sure you have the NFORCE drivers for your motherboard.
If you aren't sure what Nforce platform you have, tools like CPUZ will tell you: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
Edit: And if it makes a difference, my computer did come with Nvidia. -

I would through the steps from before. Check to make sure the Nvidia software is uninstalled. Run Driver Sweeper.
Then reboot and install the updated driver. -

probably not.
The reason why you want to run driver sweeper before restarting is because Microsoft Windows does not automatically delete all stored dll files. So if you have a corrupted file or an older file still in use, Microsoft Windows can, and normally will, automatically reinstall from the existing driver files.
Which basically means you uninstall the drivers for nothing.

Im such an idiot, I went ahead and started messing around with stuff. Ok, I'm not touching anything else, worst case scenario, I reset the computer to how I got it, a clean slate. Which would be terrible. -

EDIT: Ok, I found that the site says that I was supposed to uninstall any drivers before updating. So perhaps if I uninstalled my drivers, and then upgraded again that would fix it? -
I recently updated my Nvidia drivers, ever since, my game has been going non-responsive. It happens in particular on my level 50 in RWZ in beta, but I've had it happen on two other characters, one on beta and one on live. On my 50, its gotten to the point where I can't even log in, it goes non-responsive the moment the zone loads. I'm no computer expert, so if you need some specs, could you point me to where to find them?

Awhile ago I made a thread asking for help on choosing a monolouge, naturally you guys were very helpful, and I eventually chose an excerpt from Good Will Hunting. You guys wanted me to tell ya how it went, so instead of necroing a thread no one would notice, I made this one.
It went really well! I nailed the monolouge and ended up saying it for the whole group. So, I want to thank all you guys for your suggestions and for being so helpful!

I only did the STF 3 times (villainside player
), all on PuGs or half-PuGs, and never had a granite tanker. Invul, willpower and fire. All completed without to much difficulty.
I can tank the LRSF on my invul brute, without much problems, and he isn't purpled or softcapped. (I built him for +life. Yes, for concept reasons. I don't have hasten for the same reason.)
All you need is a *team* of people who know how to play. They don't even need to have done the particular TF/SF before.

Actually in the I18 Beta all of the higher level Boosts required a lower level boost as a component. So the answer is technically no (you can't "deconstruct") boosts but you aren't wasting the components either.

I have a query. Perhaps those I18 beta goers could answer. So if you say, make a common Cardiac boost and slot it, then later gain components used to make an Uncommon Cardiac boost. Can you remove the common boost and use these components to create an uncommon? And then gather more components and create a rare? And so on. Or is it that once you make the boost, it stays as it is and cannot be upgraded?

It sounds like a plausible idea, but I don't think its necessary.
But this made me think of something else. We have a LOT of different merits, and chances are that there will be more. Its just a logical way to reward the player for specific things. But keeping track of all of these merits can be a task, so I propose an added tab to salvage just to view your merits; to help with organization. -
Am I the only one who saw this as a lighthearted, joking more than serious thread?
