I just wanted to say that I love the Devs. I joined this game about 3 weeks after it launched and I know that with out a doubt this is the best team I have ever seen in a game. I really wish and hope to save this game but if it does go dark, I just wanted to let all of you at Paragon Studios know how much it has ment to me that you have worked so hard and diligently to bring forth a game that I have absolutely loved.

The Origional clear mind took 4 seconds to finish out its animation. During which time my team mates sometimes died if it was a huge battle.

This new one is actually a full 2 seconds having counted it about a dozen times to make sure. I love the new change.

I think that the animationi s pretty good. While I liked the look of the old animation I am fed up with how long casting time was.

I would love for them to take a look at absorb pain. that still takes like 3 seconds before it goes off and heals someone.

The Pack is still currently recruiting. If your looking for an Active SG that is fun but doesn't have the unbearable immature players that can REALLY get annoying come check us out or send us a tell!

We are also looking for a few ACTIVE Super Groups to coalition with. Over the past 2 years a few of the SG's have gone inactivea and I don't like having dead SG's as a part of my coalition. If there are any SG's on Virtue that want to give us a try I would be happy to talk with you more about a coalition.

We have many fantastic and experienced players who have been here for years. As an SG we are constantly running Task Forces and running Super Group events. We also have annual real life meet and greets where we get together and adventure out, away from our computers believe it or not, and say hi and have fun out in the sun.

The Pack consists of 2 Super Groups known as “The Pack” and “The Rogue Wolves” We are a Non RPSG who likes to take down the enemy first and ask questions later. We have mastered every TF that this game has to offer so far and always looking for the next challenge. Dedicated team speak server and website that our SG leader pays for allows its members to have 24/7 access to Team Speak 3(voice chat) and our SG forums and website. We recently upgraded to Team speak 3 so if you are familiar with TS2 you will LOVE TS3 with better voice quality and much more compatible for Mac users, Vista and Windows 7 and Linux users.

Our goal in the Pack is to create an SG that is fun and to make friends that last a life time. Once a member of this SG you are a member for life. We love our members and the real life meet and greets are a huge success and lots of fun. I personally met my husband at our first ever meet and greet and I have made many friends over the almost 6 years of being in this Super Group. While we might not be the LARGEST Super Group with 7-10 different extensions of the original SG via coalitions I think we have the best SG when it comes to unity and friendship.

Like Wild Orchid said, Syd was in the Pack with us on Virtue and he would leave the game for a time and come back. It is a great shock to hear of it and I was very surprised to get a text message from Orchid of his passing.

He was a good guy. Always coming up with new characters. He liked making alts like crazy.

My hard drive is not full at all. I still have about 200 gigs of space. the folder is not a read only and for some reason it won't let me copy it. Says that my exe is in use but City of heroes is not running.

Rebooted the computer but still getting the same error. HOPING that internet reboot will fix it. I'll keep it posted and thanks all for the help.

Worst case maybe I'll just reinstall the game.... SO don't want to do that

yep there has been like 3 patches since they last updated it.

I have for some reason been able to successfully download it to my test server but I can't seem to still get it to work on live server.

I am still getting that weird error. I deleted the patch and a few things so hoping that now with the updated it might be ok.. *keeping some fingers crossed* Are you having the same issues?

The game will not apply and I get the error of "failed to rename C:/program files/city of heroes/cityofheroes.exe to C:/program files/city of heroes/cityofheroes.old"


Anyone want to tell me what is up with that?? I can't get into the game. I WOULD like to complain to that the website is FAR out of date. ever since this was switched to these crappy new forums they just don't update the website when they put a new download on there for "patch updates" It would be nice if they did that. Sure would help a girl out when she is trying to figure out whats going on and WHY there is a new patch out for some reason.

Role Play level: Honestly we don't do a whole lot of role play in the Pack. We just like to goof off on Team speak and have fun with Task Forces and missions

Theme/Concept: There is no Orgin or level requirements to join the Pack. Our goal in this SG is to have fun in an excilent game and to make friends that last a life time. Most of our Super Group members are on a first name basis and we are a very close knit group. We love fun and out going people. Every year the Pack has had annual "Meet and Greets" where we truely do "meet the player behind the mask" Last year we hosted the Pack meet and greet at my house so we could provide free room and board for our out of town members. This year we plan on going down to Kansas City Missouri to hit a theme park and water park and hang out together. All people who join the Pack are welcome to participate. We have a lot of fun and no one has ever gone missing.... yet

Activity: The Pack is an very active SG with weekly events and Task Forces. We are strongly hero based and run through a great deal of Task forces every month. I keep our calander on our website up to date (when real life doesn't knock at my door) as much as possible. Always check the chan motd to make sure too that the event is still going on and the calander because all events are subject to change if the need does arise.

Requirements for Membership: The Pack is very easy going about it's membership. We do however ask that all people who are interested in joining us please look at the rules on our website. Make sure this is an SG that is for you. Also all members that have been with us through our 30 probation period and have earned up to 300k prestige ( that is a count between all your toons in the pack) will be assigned a room of their very own in the pack base to decorate however they please.

Leaders: Leaders of the Pack are @shadow rouge and @offline which can be reached on most evenings and some mornings.

On a final note, the pack SG is the 8th ranking SG on the top 100 on the Virtue Server. We are an amazing SG because of the members that we have. I am very thankful to have met so many fantastic people in this game through the pack.
