Just chiming in to say I had pretty much the same thing happen, though on redside and thus with the St. Martial Facemaker rather than the F.F. Icon. I also handed the final mission in after claiming the halloween salvage.

Replace 'event' with 'zombie invasion' or 'rikti invasion', and note that the non-VIP shouldn't even be able to see the event happening let alone participate in or benefit from it. I suppose they could use the phasing tech involved in the new starter zones as a base to build on, but I don't know how scalable that is.
Unless the intent of the designers and so on is to have most or all of the VIPs move to Exalted and leave the other servers to the free/premiums entirely. Then it is what it is. *shrug* Still, I imagine what focus there is/will be on Exalted in the beginning will probably be more common/'heavy' as it launches and then be more 'here and there' thus making all of this largely moot. -
Well; provided that the Exalted events to some degree award global/account tied things when they do have rewards, that would probably be reasonable enough to a lot of people.
Still as far as separation mechanics go, access to First Ward content is something that isn't entirely accessible without being a VIP or having bought into it. Not sure that's really functionally useful in regards to an event, but it may not be that far off the map either. -

However what I don't fully understand about that stance is the why a VIP playing on a "standard" server should be treated differently than a VIP on Exalted. I take no issue with there being Exalted-exclusive events mind, I'm just not sure it's logically consistent that two VIPs who pay the same subscription fees might be treated rather differently just because one elected to move/reroll on Exalted. -

K here's what I have so far, I found this pic of NP, which is the least smiley one I could find, and I thought this would work. To make sure, I painted out the hair, added yours in and put on the crown. I'm liking it, but if this isn't GQ enough for you, I can try again...
If you say yes, I'm gonna start from scratch and paint the whole thing up, instead of just using the photo. Okies talk to you tomorrow... or whenever you get this.

Ironik: Have you tried Be Funky.com
Using their artsy filters, I made an underpainting, then a sketcher version, then in photoshop, put the sketcher on a new layer over the underpainting and changed that layer to multiply...

Off the top of my head I would suggest using an image with the exact measurements written down. An animator would use register marks to keep track of the positioning of the main figure. But if you use the same size, it should hold up. SO:
1) Find a tute to turn the image into black line, without altering the size.
2) Find a tute to blur the color enough, into a sort of cell shaded look, that blurs the outline. Probably a filter that turns the image into blobs of color.
3) Then make a new layer over that color, with your black line image set to multiply, and it should look "like a comic" in theory.
I would try this for you, but I'm knee deep in hair drawing atm. And I only got 2 days left here. -
Parkinson? Wow that's a nice compliment, but yes, the DA account is strictly for watching friends, people who inspire me, some of the models I follow, and of course the industry pros. I am in a brief 3-6 month window where I can still post art on it before my new job starts, but rather than take down more new stuff, it will just go on my blog and website.
Though if someone here has a DA account, I will post it temporarily on there, so they can save it to their own page, and then poof it will be gone. Easier maintenance that way.
CR: I respect Bayani's reasoning, but he can get offended too if you just blatantly include him without asking. It's like Stan Lee found out you were drawing Spidey and had a hissy fit. He's a prolific collector, and I'm a free art rules breaker... ;P

Hmmm those last few choices were much more interesting than the 3 you mentioned. Can I surprise you? From your description, I see a great many details that would be fun to create... As to the Fenians, my idea isn't really my own, saw that Bokumon piece and then came across this very cool Arthur Adams piece of Batgirl and Supergirl, and thought that would be a great pose for your people.
I recently bought Manga Studio EX4, and it is SO MUCH FUN drawing in it, so my version will probably be an ink drawing... -
Sorry, just wanted to clarify something. I'm only here for 5 days, but I am NOT trying to solicit anyone for a commission. If I've offered anyone art here, it's strictly on a free as a gift kind of thing, you don't have to take me up on it, if you don't want me drawing your character... I remember Bayani once saying that was a rule of his, go figure, I guess you wouldn't want to run the risk of someone getting it wrong. Free art just sucks.
Anyway mostly I just wanted to give a shout out to the people I remember here, most definitely: Christopher Robin, VexXxa, Caemgen, Darth Delicious, Battlewraith and Ironik. -

Actually the fact that they were gifts has nothing to do with it... It's just that when an artist posted the art in their own thread I don't also post it in here. I figured the artist should get the comments, praise, etc in their own thread where it is more deserved...
Ferreter@ lol sort of knew the answer already. I've seen your character pop up in a number of places, and liked it immediately for it's resemblance to my old COH main's costume, save the colors, mine were fashioned after Spider Woman.
But I digress... Cam, mind if I play with the Fenians, I have this idea for a split screen of the two. -
