Back Alley Brawler will probably do some commentary on how he was passed up for Mr.T on the A-Team in the 80's.

Ravenstorm is a man of solitude....Leave him as is or have him randomly start conversations with himself. Long...Neurotic... conversations...

*bows* Ah okay, I thought so, I joined with CoV's so....hehe at any rate my point stands, the powers listed in there are probably in the game on some level and the ones that are not were probably broken or un-doable at the time.

Shape Shifting- The idea behind Kheldians probably

Time control-PROBABLY a place holder or maybe a proto-gravity control
*edit* Realisticly speaking how on earth would you implement these kind of powers in a MMO that would make sense outside of Phase shifting/Holds with some flavor text to fit the theme?
Light Control- PROBABLY ended up being Energy Blast

Just guess's. It does not matter really, most of the things in that version were either place-holders or outright broken.
  4. /jra- just kidding, but in all seriousness this is extremely unlikely. The version of this game that was in that video was a completly unplayable mess...much like what champions is now. I cant explain the double jump thing, im pretty sure that may have been a bug/blahblah.
  5. Okaaaay screw math, what would you like me to do for you Kheldarn?
  6. <.< lets try a math problem... 22/7=?

    Cityscape Help

The trick with cityscapes is to know how /little/ detail to put and where.
    Id do a whole Pseudo-tutorial for you but I don't have time right this minute but ill outline things you need to know;

    1) Establish a horizon/perspective.

    2) Block things out, figure out what the major things are going to be in the picture. Generally speaking this is going to be the overall idea for the composition, how the eye goes across it.
2.1) Be careful, DO NOT go into any detail, just make simple light sketching. Thats it.

    3) Once you have figured out where everything is going to be, have a idea of what its going to look like, work on it from the back of the image to the front....meaning draw whatever is furthest away in the picture first. it will save ALOT of headaches.
3.1) Generally speaking the further away something is the closer its color and brightness will be to the sky/atmosphere. Its a affect called atmospheric perspective, it will add a TON of epic-ness and depth to the image
3.2) Another point of Atmospheric perspective is that the closer something is the sharper or more detailed it will be or the further it will be blurier/less detailed.

    4) Practice. That is the magic, just keep trying and show it off to others and listen to their input. it will help you more then any fancy book or internet tutorial.
4.1) when showing it off Deviant art is possibly the WORST place to do it. Its far too large. I suggest www.conceptart.org its a fantastic site full of both aspiring and professional artists of all kinds. Great folks really.

I hope my little ramble of things i have picked up will help you. If I get time later i'll draw up some examples of this stuff.

  13. Hubba is too cute, Ill draw pickle man when im in the mood for a pickle...
  14. =D thanks for all the friendly-ness
    anyway go go cheap-cellphone pic!

xD Im slacking off at werk you see....nothing to do...>n> stupid economy.
*a apology in advance to anyone who is getting the art sooner rather then later, I tend to get quite a bit beter as I get momentum.

  15. Thats right kiddies! I am doing drawings for you all once again.
Just let me know if you want me to do something with your character and I will do my best, course no promises and I cant take super specific requests but if you want a freebie of your character go ahead and post em up....in case you are confused that thar is a png hehe... Anywho you can take a look at my stuff at Nate-da.deviantart.com
  16. My favorite besides my main Renzer as far as names go is my mind/storm troller Chaos Witch.

Edit* Digging through my character I found Ebon Raze, Primal Force , Dr.Fields (yes she has cookies)
  17. My search-fu has failed me, anywho wish to see if I can get anywhere with purple farming given the shortage going on on the market...Any ideas for a fairly efficient way/location/etc blah blah for doing so?
  18. Indeed that bubble kicked my [censored] right there, nevermind the 2 bil.

From the pics i've seen, I'm very impressed, i would even say overwhelmed with awesome. the electricity coloration in the gamershell link makes it look as if Elec has always been yellow.

-The pics of energy manipulation colored magenta are really nice cause the coloring system lets you make something like 'gleaming fists' rather than energy covered pompoms of doom (which still look nice, or will look nice once I've recolored them)

-And Im most pleased by how the dark powers recolor, I was expecting a muted palette, with the recolor looking kind of dusty at best, but seeing that bright red made me glee inside. oh and the red tenebrous tentacles are awesome.

my only question... I WANT A BLACK THATS BLACKER THEN BLACK. I want solid black dark blast...not smoke puffs...

I am appreciative of this feature, but the proliferation is better.

I am NOT being a party pooper here, but I just wanted to warn a few, that this feature can get old real quick - having it in that other game's beta where you can change your colors on the fly, even between attacks at any time, loses it's charm after the first few hours.

Ice in particular is pretty tough to recolor - it just doesn't feel right - it's like you are throwing purple/red/green garbage at an enemy, and even if it's garbage that you want to be throwing, it doesn't act like garbage, it acts like ice.

Some powers are AWESOME recolored, like electricity. Some are just 'whatever,' such as minimal streaks that you can color while running super speed, etc.

Truly, I am not trying to make others get angry, I really don't want you to get that impression, but take it from someone who knows what it's going to be like for months on end, because of actual experience.

If you're talking about Power customization in a certain beta of a competing MMO....yeah but I beleive only because the customizing is VERY VERY weak IMO. The hue changes hardly at all for most powers ontop of the the powers themselves being underwelming to watch in the first place. This system seems FAR more robust in comparison.

    2) knock them all over creation with multiple wind-themed powers (some of which also debuff, just nowhere near as much as /rad)

    [/ QUOTE ]
    Huh?

Unless I'm getting my numbers wrong, for a Corruptor Rad provides -regen and -dam that Storm doesn't, however Storm provides more -res, -def, -tohit, -rech and -runspeed than Rad (except when Fallout comes into play, which solo is never). Storm is very competitive with Rad for debuffing, certainly way above "nowhere near as much".

    [/ QUOTE ]

QFT, honestly storm is not as big a friggin mega-huge KB Nut to begin with. Its a great debuff set for more skilled players...something we are running low on as of late..

*also everything in /storm debuffs in some way.
