well, i decided that my previous costume was too busy, so i baked it down a bit more, and here is the revamped Snowbologram, master of snow illusions!:

Thanks mate I'm glad you like them I need to go back and check on Ghostly's and Compatriot's specifics, but they're both scrappers; Jungle Shade is a warshade (former assassin working in south and central america), Gamma is a controller (plants/storm), and Snow is a controller that can make ice/snow illusions.

I sort of like the 1-week deadline, only because it gives folks who may not like a pallette choice a shorter time to wait before one they DO like comes along. another relevant question though, is do you want to be judging every week???

So DBN, what are you looking for with suggestions for the middle 2 costumes? Costume 2 is Medieval Templar, Costume 3 is Futuristic Paladin (at least to me) - are you looking for variations that fit these themes?

Also, since your favorite is Costume 1, which I dub Templar Commando, I'm wondering if you see him primarily this way?

Oh, AR is assault rifle?! I thought it was archery! well, that changes things loads doesnt it! So, yeh, I agree with Chisoku below me - if he's a templar he should wear something that evokes it, because it's a significant fact (and part of his name )

roro - first off, great costumes, we have similar taste! second, the pallet you used isnt quite the one posted (but I'll bet you thought the black was circled, like loads of other folks ) and third, Chisoku seems to have abandoned this competition - BUT, there's another one going on that Nazghul1 is hosting - it's not the same pallet, but you should put something in, it's fun!

The picture shows two things what concern me - 1) you see that blue patch by Air Defender's neck when he's turned his head thusly? and 2) you see how the white on his face mask is different from the white on the rest of his costume?

So, Naghul1 has started a *NEW* Pallet based costume contest! Just, you know, fyi

Hopefully one day Chisoku will return to judge the final round of his contest, but I'm glad we're keeping the idea alive!

And for those just showing up and having trouble with the pallete Naz posted, we get the palletes from kuler.com (Chisoku's innovation!) and match them to CoH as well as possible - so that's what's going on on the bottom with the two similarly-colored pallet strips - the top is the kuler.com version and the bottom is the CoH match. White "circles" mark the colors in the CoH character creator - the scribbled out one doesnt count, and neither does the black in the upper left.

as for judging, I dont have much preference really - logisitically it might be easier for one to judge (maybe you??? lol), if only because collecting a vote from so many people might be like herding cats! unless, of course, all the participants WANT to vote?

lol, I meant that as a clever compliment for you! Drawing is hard, coloring (leastaways the way I did it!) is easy

well, i actually did color-matching on photoshop, and these were the closest matches I could find... shrug

Here's the pallet again, but I put the CoH color-version underneath the original Soybean one from kuler.

AND, what say we alter the rules a bit, and say that ALL colors MUST be used in the costume? Five can be hard to fit in, but I like that extra... challenge, I guess!
