I mean Ty, look at me, everyone thinks I am female but in actual fact I am an illegal pretzel alien from the planet Mars

... And those don't have genders? -

heh, who cares

You said it. -
Being MA/ninjitsu too, I figured I could tell you my setup: Got all primary powers, although I [censored] up a bit on secondary, Ima make it up. Anyway, I'll go for Kuji In Retsu at lvl 38, I have blinding power (considering respec into stealth), Kuji In Rin is a must, and I use Danger Sense/melee thing I can't remember the name of. Don't really know if they are worth using, but Danger sense has +perception so I'm hoping for it. I got stamina, and trust me, you're not gonna last long without it.

Well Iv recently being PvPing, and I feel stalkers are WAY OVERPOWERED! What is the point in being there if they come up to you, infront or behind and 1-2 shot you? It doesnt required skill... Especilly if you're on your own...
NERF THE STALKERS

[censored], and since when was the game centered around you? Sorry, but I can't sit and watch this thread grow like this. Stalkers do what stalkers are supposed to: assasinate. There are a number of ways to evade stalker stealth attacks, and in general it's not easy to pull one of unless the target is standing still for a few seconds.
I've played stalker type classes through various games, and in comparison, this is how a stalker should be: kill the weak targets as swiftly as possible, while dying at the hands of the tanks. It's a balance. You're a weak target walking alone? Tough luck. Consider rerolling.
You get various pbae effects to counter stealth, so please don't [censored] whine. Combined with different evasion techniques it's not difficult to withstand stalkers. -
You could start off by not doing it on Mercy Island, really. Sure you want recruits, and people are plenty, but what, you want levels 1-11? I don't think so. If it were me, I'd start checking from (perhaps cap au diable but otherwise) sharkhead. That way you'll be sure not to encounter A) newbies, and B) idiot newbies.
If you really want your sg to be special, you could make a rite of passage -esque test. -
Being the idiot that I am, I tend to solo mostly, and as a stalker, I have never had problems with running from mobs, because when I attack a cluster of them, I damn straight clear it out. Resting after, yeah, perhaps, maybe, but not in the middle of them. I couldn't dream of running.
Compared to other MMO's stalker type character, the CoV is versatile and equal to the DAoC assasins (in my opinion), which makes it good at what you call it, hmm, scrapping? -

Probably because it takes too long to solo a bank raid with a stalker.

BS. I can usually do one within 5 mins solo, 10-15 if extra guards spawn or if there is a bug so the guards you have to fight don't spawn until you've cleared all the normal guards. -

And you know it's true: Vikings beat the crud out of both pirates AND ninjas. At the same time.

Being one myself, I couldn't agree more. And hell, being a scrooge is good fun. That's why we frown at you for making your 'fun' the same way you frown at us for making our fun. -
I don't think it's a bug, but merely that in bank missions everyone gets treated the same; in that way that if any other AT would be where you were, guard would attack that AT as well. Mobs always run to your position when ambushing, though some will move to your last unhidden location and remaining passive to you. Notice that some mobs do have truesight, IE are able to see through ANY concealment.
Oh and if you're a stalker, why the hell are you doing a bank job with a team? -
Cup of Squirrels, I heart you. You've taken my gaming philosophy and stuck it down in a sg with a cliché name. Things couldn't get any better.
