    Horrible delay lag

    I was having the same problem, but based on the comment above from corridor, I tried killing the "type32.exe" process in the task manager (Win XP) since it is another process associated with MS keyboards and this seems to have fixed my problem.

    When I logged in, I had the lag, but I alt+tabbed out and killed the process, and when I alt+tabbed back into the game, the lag was gone.

    As Ace said earlier in the thread, there were quite a few reasons for using this guide, besides just reducing lag when the raids were starting out.
    Being able to just glance at a character and know instantly what their role was in the raid was invaluable for organizational purposes. Particularly when you had 200+ heroes all crowded together in such a tight space.
    It also helped when you got new ppl joining and could say something like "Oh you're a Blaster? Go find the guys dressed all in red, and do what they do."

    As far as what Upsen has been up to lately, I'm sad to say it hasn't been COV Beta.
    Upsen is in fact planning to leave COH. Last active day on Upsen's account is Oct 20th.
    But never fear, both Kin (who is also retiring) and Upsen will be at the Forum Fwednesday on Oct 19th for one last big blowout with the best server community in COH (and any other MMO for that matter).
    Come on down and joins us for one last rampage.

    Or at least cause lots of explosions, which in my book amounts to the same thing.

    It’s always been fun teaming with you DB, and all the other ppl who showed up for the raids.

    Now on a more serious note regarding teaming. Kin Arad and Upsen Downs will be leaving COH very soon.
    However, we’ve decided that before Kin & Upsen grab their 6 Hami-O slotted walkers and shuffle of into the sunset, (or the Old Heroes Retirement Home, which probably requires less bus fare) we wanted to join in on one last rampage around Paragon City with all the great ppl on this server. To that end, we’ve decided that Forum Fwednesday on Oct 19th will be it for us.

    We hope to see everyone there, so we can once again hang out with some of the best ppl in this game.
