Btw, the screenshot... Wasn't Atlas's foot / leg getting a bit warm?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, but not from the torches. -
I was there!
I couldn't stay until the end, but I kept listening.
When the Kerensky interview queued up, I must say that it was overwhelming.
It was an unforgettable event.
Thank you Riff. -

Plus they advise adding to the original ticket and update it....are you kidding?
So every time it happens, ie every time I play, I am supposed to go onto the nc page login, find the ticket, say oh look surprise I crashed yet again.........when its easier to do it ingame if I have to do it.
[/ QUOTE ]
You got a point there!
[ QUOTE ]
So much hassle for a 4 year old game whose login screen should be well working by now.
[/ QUOTE ]
Ah, this is not fair. Login screen changed recently again and new bugs obviously introduced.
Yet, current web support system doesn't helping either... -
Sometimes assuring us isn't enough.
Take a look what Ravenswing wrote above, the current system doesn't give enough feedback to the petitioner.
Think about how much help will provide to NCsoft's CC center if people could add their info under a problem that is already bugged. They won't need to categorize each one of them and send personalized answers. On the other hand, players will be able to report problems faster because the main report will be already there by the first who petitioned the technical problem. Also they will be able to see that they are not alone and the status of the problem (i.e. unconfirmed, investigating, fixing, etc).
Once again: It's current systems fault. Not yours explicitly and not ours.
But until this change, it's like intentionally making people to dislike petitioning bugs. -
Now just imagine 7 Fulcrum Shifted members what could do!

No, yours is posted yesterday in this thread by Lord_Kalistoh (post #1209023)

Goodbye Jörg...

Dear Friends,
Some of you are sure the messages and the threads in this forum prosecuted and noticed that Ncsoft Europe in the wake of the restructuring measures "the labor market makes available to employees."
One of the affected agencies is mine.
Yesterday, on Tuesday, were handed the papers to me and I will tomorrow, Thursday, the 18th September 2008, my last working day muster.
It is a serious step that I have to do, because I do not just leave a company, but I would also love to friends and colleagues obtained must forgo what the past three years and four months to a memorable time have made.
It is also a serious step for me, because I did not more than German community care coordinator. It has given me a lot of fun and I have time with you wholeheartedly enjoyed. That a very big THANK YOU BEAUTIFUL!
I believe that my German colleague (anvil, and Avatea Snowstorm) in the coming days and weeks to keep an eye on the forums and you have all the important developments to keep. The website will continue to Ghost Raptor and palladium cared.
Whether your myself in the future, "Kerensky" will see again, I can not promise, but I will be at least in CoHmpedium and try my City of Heroes accounts to keep. Also you can find me at various sites (Facebook, StudiVZ, Xing, LinkedIn) under my middle name.
I beg you, from these events does not act short deduce - and I do not want you because of my progress aufgebt a game that you so long begeleitet and whose future is definitely in a good direction.
Furthermore, I would like to again sincerely thank for the letter. These expressions of solidarity means a lot to me. Thank you so much!
Yours
Jörg "Kerensky" Koonen

Cool!
Good to know about tomorrow beforehand anyway!
P.S.: And good to suspect that we are stalling US' cyborg pack release! -
Ummm, why we aren't getting new version too today (yet we got it at TR)?
-
I totally agree with you GR but see our side too...
For us is like knocking a closed door. Not truth I know, but we have no way to figure that out.
Maybe if we can see the progress of our petitions, would be better.
For example, when I press the button to call the elevator, the lights show me that not only I've set something in motion but that elevator is actually moving and if I see floor numbers or hear the elevator coming, even better.
If I had just a button and no light or sound, then I wouldn't bother to press that button anymore and eventually go through stairs.
Without having constant feedback that will remind to us, the not patient people, that we actually helped, we lose the incentive of reporting.
Please don't take this the wrong way, but it's our side of things as been at the other side of that "button"... -
I am sorry, but how Kerensky would be redundant (even "possibly")?
He is irreplaceable. -
Bye Steve, good luck to your new horizons.
Ok, is anyone staying?
Maybe it will be easier to create a list of those staying instead of those leaving.
Let's see...
<ul type="square">[*]GhostRaptor[*]Kerensky[*]Palladium[/list] -
I think his point is (not explicit to you, but if you're asking...
) :
Sympathize with NCsoft EU people leaving losing their jobs because it was your choice to join with them in the first place.
Those who believe that it was better without them, why they are trolling among us?
Now it's a bad timing to suddenly switch views. -

What would be the point in advertising in Greece? there is no greek localisation, no greek GMs, Greece has a tiny population anyway. Face it, you aint worth thier while.
[/ QUOTE ]
If you was trying to make a joke or been sarcastic, I am sorry but you failed to do so.
[/ QUOTE ]
No, I was pointing out a fact. The same is true for any Eurpean country. The only way they can target the EU as a market is to treat it as a single entity, which is rather scuppered by the different languages and media.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, we are the 1/6 of you, but then think again:
Germany and France have (individually) more population than UK.
(the rest of my post is offtopic)
You couldn't stop at the point where you were advertising that Germany and France support is better to be cut off, you had to go beyond that, eh? (unprovoked too!)
Greek people never asked or needed Greek localization, you came up with that artifact to diminish us more so you can conclude easier that we don't worth anyone's while.
It is you that does this, not NCsoft or any other company.
I gave you the opportunity to amend your action and you didn't take it.
Generally, you seem to enjoy degrading most of the people you meet in these boards (although I never expect you to do that to entire countries at once). I can't tell why you do that, but it does make you popular in ignore lists.
Goodbye...

The only MMO that was advertised, here in Greece (at all!), was WoW and although I have no real numbers, I know many people in person, that play it.
NCsoft failed to do the same (at least here).
Now NC EU staff is paying for that failure by losing their jobs...
You should not blame the market (i.e. our EU countries) for that failure and not presume that all players should been comic lovers. -
[ QUOTE ]
Adversising is good, but it won't sell snow to eskimos. CoX is based on american comic books.
[/ QUOTE ]
Ahem, but of course WoW that is inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien, failed to succeed in US, because Tolkien was English writer...
Do you really believe what you say or you just trying to see if someone will react to it? -

Bridger is long gone, sadly enough
he moved on to another project

Well yes, but now leaving NCsoft too? -

People who bought Auto Assault where offered a game to play... (There are still Auto Assault boxes on sale in shops)
{...}
A company that can't take tough buissiness decisions is a company that isn't going to suvive.
[/ QUOTE ]
This isn't Auto Assault.
Cutting off from one of their greatest games, isn't a sign of expandability but a sign of shrinkage.
Instead, there was one more choice: To promote the game better in EU countries.
Of those two options, isn't clear what helps more to business survivability long-term?
By placing us on remote-control, are they so sure that EU market doesn't deserve their attention anymore?
At least you seem to be sure. -
[ QUOTE ]
Rockjaw, _Aero, Bridger (and possibly Kerensky) you've done a fantastic job, and deserve much kudos. I'd like to wish you all the best with whatever direction your life takes you.

I missed episodes, Bridger is leaving too? -

They were offered their own localized environment when they bought the product.
It was part of the deal to make the buy.
[/ QUOTE ]
Unfortunately I think you're wrong here; if you check the current terms and conditions you'll find it doesn't promise any specific number of servers or languages at all, and even if it did/had it has this bail out option {...}
So even though the service had various servers with different languages available at the time you signed up, NCSoft's not obliged to keep them going.
[/ QUOTE ]
Ok, word "entitled" at previous post of mine was in wrong use then, but still this is a deal breaker.
Allow me to want to support consumer's side and not company's side.
Although we don't know for sure if Kerensky leaves (we don't know his choices and it isn't our job to judge them anyway), we also don't know if non-English GMs/CC people will be forced to leave (it's hard for me to believe that entire German staff was one-man's-show). If this happen, will lead to degradation anyway...
