  1. Villain Group:
    Shadows of Victory

    Key Members:
    Satanic Hamster
    Kong G. Fuu
    Bonebaby
    Celtic
    NerdCompany

    Desc:
This is, in effect, the sister group of the Fist of Justice. However, there's no membership requirements between the two groups.

Key focus is on team / community players. Most of the group are regular forum posts/readers, and the vast majority are active in the Global Chat Channel - Victory Forum.

Mainly pve, but also into casual pvp.

    Full up base.

    SG does a rolling membership:
Anyone after for 20+ days can be subjected to kicking in order to invite new people. Kicks are only done as needed, not as a blanket policy at a set no. of days. Anyone kicked is in-game emailed and more then welcome to rejoin if they start playing that character again.

Over all, we're active/hardcore but casual.

Currently could like to get around ten new members/active characters in.

    Somehow, I don't think that's what's bringing you there.

    Oh, all the sinning.

    Right, sorry.

  4. Just leave it to a group of broads to get the directions to the Villain Group thread wrong...

  5. Polaris is a little two timing, untrustworthy [censored]. Hank was right.

If it spawns on exitting the mission, how do you control what zone he spawns in (for instance, how did you expect to spawn him in SC when I'm certain that the mission isn't located there).

    [/ QUOTE ]

He spawns (within 5 minutes, generally) on COMPLETING the mission.

So you start the mission, then leave while a teammate(s) remain on map. The Kronos will appear in whatever zone the mission holder is in when the mission completes (besides Atlas, Galaxy, Bloody Bay (bah!), Sewers... Any zone where you can get ambushed).

In theory, they made it so no ambushes can spawn in the PVP zones. This was done so high level ambushes won't be marauding in the pvp zones (ie, level 50 Pretorians in Bloody Bay). But apparently Siren's Call is bugged, and can still spawn ambushes.

My last organized mass Kronos party was in Bloody Bay. I tried it on test, thwo days earlier, got Kronos to spawn there.
    Then they fixed it.

  8. Should all be fixed now.

We had a huge contingent of villians and heros hanging around in BB waiting for the Kronos spawns that never appeared. Finally some of the ambushee heroes left the zone and pretty much as soon as they zoned into Skyway they were getting plastered by swarm missiles. Sadly, some of the Kronos Titans wandered too close to the drones and were disintegrated. I think there was a total of 6 Titans active at once.

Victory has a proud tradition of Spawning the Kronos in unusual places. Once time I managed to get him up on the big blue ball on the crashed Rikti Spaceship (turns out the forcefield isn't slippery to giant monsters).

We even had 4 spawn in Blyde Square once, just because.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Actually, that was all my fault.

    My bad.

The Blyde Square ambush was done because it's obvious that Positron hates lowbies. The Unity Plague ambushes are proof of that. Oddly enough, I get hit with an unusual bug from that Kronos ambush. I organized four to hit Blyde Square at the same time.

Then, for the next four hours, every forty minutes, I got hit by another Kronos. But, given I was a maxed out pre-nerfing Ham-O'd inv tanker, it wasn't a great threat. Maybe if they all came at once...

Bloody Bay turned out well. The upside was:
We had roughly 180 villains and heroes turn out for it. When the Kronos Horde failed to materialize, we had the biggest pvp battle that anyone had been part of since CoV Beta. Then when some people started to leave, they got hit in Sky Way.

Forming up for it. Was some rendering issues.

    The fight in Skyway.

    Rocking it.

    I'm talking hells yeahs.

    And one to grow on.

  12. I highly doubt that any of the patron powers will be that different from the aux./epic pools. IE, no WTHBBQOMG powers that people would be "gimped" for not taking.
  13. The thing is... Let's face it, the level 40 power pools aren't make or break powers. They're fluff, candy. They don't change the core of your character.
  14. Actually, I was predicting major regen nerfs from before issue 1.

Ask any long time regen scrapper if they remember the phrase:
    "Welcome to our world, bitches."
  15. [ QUOTE ]

Four of the five characters I got to 50th level were regen scrappers. As such, I am painfully aware that the devs are liable to change anything at a drop of a hat.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, because changes to regen scrappers were SO unexpected.

    Here's a question.

I have characters with the Clan of the Black Scorpion Badge, back when the Strike Forces were all giving out bugged badges.

Am I screwed/forced to take Black Scorpion now?

    [/ QUOTE ]
    Whiner.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    No no.

    WINNER!
  17. Now, the Hamster Take on Things.

I like this idea. However, the devs may want to consider having a seperate trial down the road for breaking with/turning on your patron.

There has to be some sort of code for taking out and replacing a badge. At least, the Croatoa Task Force mission against the Respawning Witch gives the impression of (each defeat changes/replaces the previous badge).

    Oooh, somebody's cranky.

Hey Ham, check out my responces. 100% Whine Free.

Now where the hell's my cookie?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    No cookie.

There is no such word as "responces."
  19. But, once again, the only piece of info we have is:
    Perma.

And that's it. And it's enough that people have complained none stop.

There's be zero mention about the number of powers. Or the nature of the powers. There has been mention by a dev (not a forum mod!) that full info would be given out beforehand. Which is more info you get before you choose your AT.

And, of course, given the example of CoH, it's not like the epic/aux power pools are game breaking if you don't take them.

It's a different way of doing things. But it's hardly a horrible or game breaking one.
  20. [ QUOTE ]

Then kindly shut the hell up, since all you seem to have time to comment on is the stupid tripe and are happily ignoring anything here worth paying attention to.

You might stop to consider that a post like yours and the one you responded to are just another form of whining.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    There's things worth replying to?

Really? Can you link to them?

If you link to a post that's crying how much something not even on Test is going to suck, then you fail to get a cookie.

    Whiniest thread ever..

    Jesus, hell yes.

I finially read this thread last night, gave up after reading less then half of it.
  23. To add on to Click Beetle...

In CoH and CoV, you aint Superman. You aint Wolverine. You aint Captain America. You aint Doctor Doom. You aint Lex Luther.

You're Joe Scrub Hero/Villain. You're in a whole freaking CITY of heroes and villains. You're just not that special.

    Well, except me, of course.

Also, I want a Rularuu Watcher, that I can ride around like a big 'ole flying beachball.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Ouch.

And then I'd just go around buzzing the lowbies in Atlas Plaza, when they are having costume contests.

They'd all be like, "Holy crap!" And I'd be all like, making airplane noises and stuff.

    It would be great.
