One hell of a "sketch," U Man. Nice!
[/ QUOTE ]
Agreed! It came out really well. -
Standard Scarf Girl awesomeness!
The only thing that seems off to me is the left side of his face - it just doesn't seem to attach to his jaw where I'd think it would. -

Sarrate, Yup, it's CoV pre-order, I don't remember the shop, tho.
[/ QUOTE ]
Okay, I thought so. I never seem to buy/preorder games around release, so I don't have them. Couldn't remember how to get 'em.

GreenRegis, I've never heard of Gravity Beetle, where does he come from ?
[/ QUOTE ]
Gravity Beetle is a boss from Megaman X3 I believe. -
Where'd you get that helmet? Was that from the CoV preorder?
Cool concept; I like the shot where GB is flying towards the camera. The wings are all blurry as if flapping rapidly. -

It didn't work. You need to recalibrate your sproing mangstier to compensate for the flux capacitor's inverse vector graphing.
Or hit it with a hammer...either works...

I was postulating using a tachyon beam in some fashion would do the trick... -

Noxious Gas: You can infect one of your Henchmen, surrounding him with a Noxious Gas. All foes near the infected Henchmen will be overcome with the Noxious Gas. Their Defense, Accuracy, Damage and Damage resistance will all be reduced. Additionally, there is a chance than any affected humanoid enemy will become violently ill. Even the mightiest foe will stop dead in their tracks, and left helpless as he empties the contents of his stomach.
Level: 38
Range: 30
End: 22.75
Duration: 45 Seconds
Recharge: 300 seconds
This is it, this is why you take thugs and poison. Noxious Gas works when applied to a pet and creates a 30' gaseous cloud around the pet. It only lasts 45 seconds so the pet needs to be up close and personal with the target and stay there to get the biggest affect. Since the bruiser works best when he's in the middle of the action it creates the best synergy of the two powers. It may take a level or two to really get the hang of it down to maximize the effectiveness so give it a chance. Now let's look at the numbers to see why NG is such a big deal:
-10% ToHit to Target for 20 seconds
-20% Smashing Enhancement to Target for 20 seconds
-20% Lethal Enhancement to Target for 20 seconds
-20% Fire Enhancement to Target for 20 seconds
-20% Cold Enhancement to Target for 20 seconds
-20% Energy Enhancement to Target for 20 seconds
-20% negative_Energy Enhancement to Target for 20 seconds
-20% Toxic Enhancement to Target for 20 seconds
-20% Psionic Enhancement to Target for 20 seconds
-20% Defense to Target for 20 seconds
-30% Resistance(Smashing) to Target for 20 seconds
-30% Resistance(Lethal) to Target for 20 seconds
-30% Resistance(Fire) to Target for 20 seconds
-30% Resistance(Cold) to Target for 20 seconds
-30% Resistance(Energy) to Target for 20 seconds
-30% Resistance(negative_Energy) to Target for 20 seconds
-30% Resistance(Toxic) to Target for 20 seconds
-30% Resistance(Psionic) to Target for 20 seconds
Effect 1000 Held to Target for 4 seconds ([u]0% chance[u]) [Non-resistible]
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm just a little curious about that last blurb. It says 0% chance, but I have no doubt it does go off. Can you make any sense of it? -
Aside from the Vampiresse (and victim), both of whom look awesome, I reeaally like what you did with the graveyard. The foggy, cob-webby, dark feel it has is supurb. Oh! The gnarled shrubbery sillohetted (sp?) against the moon too.
Excelent piece, as always! -

Certain self heal powers are tagged to not allow outside healing buffs. Reconstruction is such a power.
General Rule:
If your heal also grants resistance to toxic, it won't benefit from +Heal buffs.
[/ QUOTE ]
To further clarify: These powers are set to ignore all outside strength buffs/debuffs (IgnoreStrength = True), and only pay attention to the strength buffs from enhancements slotted in these powers. If they were not set to ignore strength buffs, all damage buffs on the caster would boost the damage resistance of the power.
The best solution to this is to disallow damage resistance slotting in these powers (while keeping the damage resistance Effect and marking just that Effect as disallowing all strength buffs (AllowStrength = False), which includes enhancements and outside buffs), and then setting the entire power to not ignore outside strength buffs/debuffs (IgnoreStrength = False).
I asked Castle about this a while back, and he said "Yeah, I know about that issue. Getting it changed isn't exactly easy, though (despite it being a 1 cel change!)" So, I guess if we complain about it loud enough, the higher-ups will take notice and allow Castle to make this simple and logical change.
[/ QUOTE ]
So, if I'm understanding this correctly, it means Reconstruction is immune to heal debuffs, like Poison/Weaken? -
That feature is disabled/doesn't exist on the CoH forums. You can still link to things with the [ url= address ] Text [ /url ] tag, however.

You did a good job on it too! I really like the way you pulled off the head tilt (really gives her some emotion) and hair 'flow' (can't drawy hair for the life of me). Her assests seem a little big, but maybe thats just me...
Nice. -
Dear lord, she's gone from destroying servers to destroying cities!
Nice work, love Scarfzilla's falling pose.
(Btw, who is that in the lower right?) -
Thats a pretty slick site you have there.
[edit: Only complaint was the music without warning, but easily muted.] -
The "victim" seems unusually happy, look at the smile!
I kid, I kid. It looks great so far, can't wait to see you work your magic on the rest of it! -
I know that you're looking for "good shots" to use as reference (which I don't have)... but I'll be darned if Council defying gravity doesn't look cool.
-
That is really [cool, sweet, touching, well done] (choose 4).

!!
Just wanted the chirp up and say I somehow missed your thread (been doing that a lot recently, it seems), but you've come up with some really good stuff! I got a hearty chuckle out of the Invincibelle drawing.Kilotonnage has that comic hero/villain look, which is great!
Something else I noticed... you're good at drawing hands, especially Tax E's right hand.
Good stuff!
[edit: PS: I think question 3 is a trick... I mean, theres Jethro Tull, and theres Jethro Tull!]

A few months ago, when having some influence donated to me by a friend, we came upon the revalation that my Fire/Stone tanker looked eerily like her Fire/Fire blaster. So I took a screenshot. I've been meaning to actually draw the two of them together, but I kept putting art off in favor of playing. Well, this morning I had a much stronger desire to draw than usual, so I pulled out my pencil and got to work.
About 4 hours and a lunch later, I finished: Mistresses of Flame
I wager this is one of my most detailed drawings to date. Several times I almost said "good enough," but I kept myself from short changing it. Perserverence can yeild some impressive results! (If only I could ink/color...)
Comments / critiques welcome. No flames though. *audience groans* -
Very nice work! Alevan's sword got a good chuckle from me.
