It was a good thing that Trisys and the others got out from under Jade because when the thunderous Knocks echoed off the cliff walls combined with the stain of holding the spell. It was to much for Aineruda and Jade came down splashing once again into the water and she fell to her knees. "What... did you get her? Is she alright? And what is that knocking!"

Cerelassion went to help Keth "Here little miss lay her on the grass. I see if anything broken... wait what do you mean she's suddenly a Robot?" Lazardarus shook his head "No Cerelassion she wasn't a machine." He motioned to Jade "He was till she performed that stunning feat of magic." Cerelassion shook his head "Transformation magic on such magnitude..."

During that talk the Yellow shirt Gnome appeared on top of Jade and started poking him. Much like a child would poke at a sleeping parent.

At the Gates the Commander looked at Paxtera "I saw you enter with Lazardarus. First thing first I'm the commander here understand. If you can handle that I welcome the assistance." He then turned to one of the guards. "Fetch one of the spell singers. Archers ready your arrows." Then he looked over the side. "If those blows are on focused at the same spot. These gates are meant to take strong damage but the hinges and locking device."

He then moved to where he could See the guards on the ground. "Don't Just stand there get the braces! Reinforce those gates!"

I used to PVP and one of my favorite battles was in Bloody bay.

I was running a Dark/Dark Scrapper and ran into a group of Player Villains. A robot MM, A corrupter and a Ice Dom. It was a wonderful fight I had the challenge of facing three on one battle but my Scrapper was tough enough they had to work together to win.

I went after the Ice Dom because her powers was slowing me enough that I knew... I knew I would loose if I didn't get rid of her. In the end I couldn't take her out before I died so the Villains won.

We all had a blast! It was an epic fight a challenge for everyone and it came down to the effects of the Weakest member of the Villain's team powers. I still think it's fun that the person who had the least damaging powers in the team had the greatest effect on me. I doubt it would work after Issue 13.

The Guard commander heard the loud knock at the gates and rush out onto the walk way to look down. "That was a bit too loud to be someone asking to be let in. Fire a few flash arrows let see what we can stir up." Two other guards fired their flash arrows down at the ground. The reason was simple if the disturbance was an animal the flash and bang from the arrows would scar it away. If it was an attack the flash would still have an blinding effect with out doing any permanent harm.

Back at the springs Lady Aineruda looked at Kethara and the Khelari "Perhaps I can move him." She didn't move but lifted her hands chanting a spell the effect was that Jade started to lift into the air. The strain however was seen on her face as she struggled to handle the forces needed to Negates the gravity around Jade's body. "Hurry! Get her I can't hold him forever!" The Guard elves with her put away their weapons assured now that it wasn't an attack.

Lazardarus grabbed a robe from a stunned aid and wrapped it around himself. It now dawns on the Fey folk about that something wasn't right and the Gnome started tugging at his beard with a confused look on his face.

But then I would be buying the whole game all over again just for the code for the extras.

Wouldn't it be logical to sell the bonus stuff separately from outdated versions of the game?

There are a few things I so want from the NCsoft store.

One is the City of Heroes Collector DVD/Hero Kit Bonus Power Prestige Power Slide!

Heck put up all the bonus gifts from the Box versions that been put out. I'm sure like me many would pay an extra charge for these bonus goodies.

I'm not sure if this fits here or not but I'm posting my random thoughts.

I don't PVP in this game thought I would like to. The problem like many I don't like the PVP rules. Why?

Well the basic is this from level 1-14 I learn a the game mechanics. I get used to said powers how they perform. What they can do to said foes.

Then level 15 and going into Bloody Bay. WHAT THE HELL! What I spent getting used to changes. It's a whole new system to get used to.

Much like driving when someone learns to drive an Automatic transmission and then they sit into a Manual Transmission car. This change is what bothers me I simply don't enjoy the changing systems when going from a PVE to a PVP Zone. Yes people had said the technical flaws in PVP I'm not going to bother with that.

Really who does? It's how it FEELS how it PLAYS and the mentality we players get from it. The way it seems to me is we have not one City of Heroes/Villains but Two. The PVE CoX and the PVP CoX.

Okay this Rant is over. Am I wrong?

That was when the guards got out of what remains of the locker room chamber. All six had their swords drawn. "Nobody move!"

The Lady Aineruda didn't wait once she spotted the appearance of the dragon. She went around the rubble and came to the Male side of the springs. "Put those swords away! They wouldn't do anything to a dragon." She looked over those in the springs then at the forming crowd. "Guards get those folks back, and Melisande get these folks some robes Now!"

She then looked at Lazardarus then over at the female side of the springs "Would someone explain what is going on!"

Laz had no problem being nude but being nude in front of the closes thing to royalty in the valley was a completely different matter. His hands were down hiding his privates as he looked around. "I'm not quite sure myself. One moment Jade was what I thought was a mechanical being and somehow Trisys who is.. er was I believe a bonded spiritual being. Then the next thing I knew she was here drawing as much magical force as she could. This is the result." Then he looked around "Wait where is Trisys?"

Cerelassion put on a pair of glasses and looked over the Dragon and what appeared as a Mechanical Unicorn. "My word I haven't seen a Dragon in over 200 years. He appears to be in a hibernation state no doubt caused by the transformation. Harmless for the time being."

The Gnome and a bunch of other of the magical fey spirits were dancing completely unaware of the dread that Trisys was feeling. The concept of death was not in their understanding so they celebrated that the magic worked and Jade got his wish. Then the yellow shirt gnome looked at Lazardarus and made a shrug motion much like a child would.

Melisande was well organized even in such a chaotic event and soon she had the nervous aids handing out robes to everyone and leading some of the other people who were soaking in the springs away from the group.

Another sign that a Mission is a Farm is people running it over and over and over again.

If you find yourself on a team and all they doing is the same mission more then once then it's a farming mission and might be getting farmed for exploits.

How come I got Jeff Foxworthy telling "You might be a Exploiter/Farmer if..." Jokes running in my head?

Magic ... a lot of magic... indeed the energy was building and as a response the area was a swarm of fey folk. The rocks covered now with the Gnomes both male and female (and no the females don't have beards) as well as brownies and other earthly spirits. The water was now filled with water spirits, Nixies that looked like a cross between a frog and a human as well as blue mermaid/mermen like water sprites. The air was now a swarm of Pixies and other magical sprits of the air. Among the forming masses were a few Satyr and Dryads. They were all responding to Trisys call for magic to grant the wayward wish. Beyond the spirits power the very area was once part of a magical world and it was possible Trisys powers could be amplified within the Forest.

Lazardarus nearly jumped out of the spring when Trisys appeared and then looked around in wonder at the appearing gathering. "Defiantly a bonded spirit... That wish she's talking about is summoning a lot of magical energy. What ever that thought you had just a moment ago Jade is about to come true!"

Outside the springs Chaos was starting as people stop and stared at the growing vortex of magic. Lady Aineruda took in a breath then turned to two female guards "Change of plans! You two go into the womens section and retrieve our guess! Get the attendants to provide robes but this relaxing soak is now officially over!" She then spun to look at Cerelassion and the four Male guards. "Get in there! What ever is happening is drawing all the magic in the Valley!"

The guards split and rushed into the Springs as Aineruda stood there wanting to rush into the springs herself but dared not risk her own life for curiosity.

Lazardarus settled down in the steaming water. "Ahhh I always enjoy this. Given we are here I'm sure the elven elders are going to want to meet you all. And I no doubt going to get a talk to given I still haven't completed my task of meeting your city representatives. I have faith in this task of making peace. Would help a lot as well if we can grow crops out on the plains." He ducked under the water and scrubbed his scalp then came back up with a shake.

Over head two of the dragonets were playing on the wind riding the air currents. And on a Rock over looking the Womens Spring appeared the Gnome sitting crossed legged and eyeing the water with a slight nervousness. Being an Earth spirit water wasn't something it enjoyed.

On their way to the springs was a group of that very elder elves and one of the Gate guards. "So they were covered in blood?" The Guard nodded "Yes they were but none looked harm thought one did look ill. One of them looked something like a Gre'shil but green." The High lady Aineruda thought a moment then sighed "We let them soak a bit and clean up. After they are done I want them brought to the Council Hall. Have an escort ready just outside the springs I want you to lead the escort Cerelassion."

Cerelassion bowed "As M'lady commands."

I want stalker shirt!

Some I thought of

"I got 5 restraining orders want to be my number 6?"

"Don't hate me because I'm beautiful. Hate me because I'm a Dominator."

Oh but with Going Rogue you can make GOOD Hero Villain archetypes Golden Girl!

See now you have a reason to run a few red characters! For your goodie nature you could run some arcs that are less Evil then others... Hardcase for example is a Save people story.

Oh and Welcome to the Game LOLDUE and I agree LOLDUE has a more original ring to it then LOLDUDE.

You know then we need "Statesman Facepalm" and a "Lord Recluse Facepalm" Badge.

The Gnome laughed then vanished in a flash. Lazardarus chuckled "Don't worry the wee folk appear and vanish when they wish. Something to do with them being on more then one plane of existence at a time... Perhaps more along the lines of between the planes."

He started walking into the forest "Alright follow me the springs are this way. We are lucky we were able to get the water spirits to channel the springs or the lake and the entire valley would have dried up. We have also carved out tiers on the mountains... well cliffs now to grow grains and other plants that struggle in the shade. The Forest itself provides fruits, nuts, and other food items. However we do lack the means of manufacture hence why we contact other patches."

As he talked the forest was alive with many wildlife birds and beasts moving among the trees as well as the magical creatures. Perhaps a shock to jade was the goose sized dragon landing on a tree branch. It had four legs and two bright red wings. Of course a completely different species however it seemed to be watching them with interest.

Laz led them to the south east and a Village came into view buildings and bridges built up in the trees were populated by Elves but huts on the ground were populated by humans. Many looked haggard as if recovering from starvation. "Good to be back home. The Human homes are new survivors from the machines that were able to find their way here. A few times we had to turn someone away due to one of those harvesters being to near."

The group arrived to a building with two entrances. An older female elf came out. "Welcome to the Hot springs I'm Melisande. Please Males to the left and Females to the right. There is a wall keeping the two apart." She smiled "We are a family friendly hot springs and prefer to keep things clean in more then one sense of the word."

"Of course Melisanda" Lazardarus makes a bow "As we bath could our garments be washed as well." Melisanda smiled and nodded "Just tell the attendance they will take care of it."

The Gnome waved a hello to those that noticed him then made a frustrated face. It started jumping up and down waving away the Marbles. The other elemental spirits backed away as well.

Lazardarus smiled at the antics "Don't let the wild folk bother you. Most are harmless and some are quite helpful. Well anyway welcome to Rivercrest my home. Of course the River isn't there anymore thanks to our arrival here on patches. We do have a nice size lake at the southern end."

He raised his hand as he approached the gates "Kaerol Col Ai cali vaeresaer shor thol odael si karaer" One of the guards at the top waved back then the gate doors opened allowing the group entrance. Most of the forest within was shaded by the thick canopy there was very little shrubs on ground level.

He looked back at the group and took note of Trisys "It be a bit of a walk to where the springs are. Will you be able to make it?"

What Trisys would see is large granite walls on each side of a gap. The gap was filled with trees ranging from oaks to the super sized massive trees similar to the giant Redwoods. Blocking the way into the gap is a wooden gate. The construction was such that it appears that the trees were grown to form the wall instead of cut down and placed there. It even had branches high up with green leaves among those branches were the look outs a few had their arrows ready in the bows.

But what should catch her attention most was the 6 inch tall gnome standing about 2 feet in front of her. He was dressed in a yellow shirt and brown pants a bit on the chubby side and his nose was nearly half the size of his head. Two twinkling eyes watch her from under bushy eye brows. He had his head tilted as he studied her his hand was brushing his beard that went down to his naval.

The odd thing about this little creature would be not everyone in the group would see him. Jade being mechanical in nature would not be able to detect him at all. Where Paxtera and perhaps the sisters to lesser degree would detect the tremendous magical energy of the gnome. A few moments latter had other elemental spirits buzzing around Trisys. Wind spirits that look like wisps of steam taking humanoid form. Pixies and fairies (that everyone would see) flying about. All seemed to be checking her out and zipping back to the forest dwelling.

For a solo Tanker I offer up the WP/Dark Melee combo.

My 50 WP/DM/Energy is nearly unstoppable with Quick recover+ Dark consumption End trouble is not an issue. It's the only Tank build I played all the way to 50 and I still play the character mixing in IOs when I can.

You might want to Download the game updater directly from the website. Or if you have a Disk install it directly.

I have no idea why you can't transfer it to the new system but that's the two work around I thought of right away.

"Okay M'lady if you may Teleport us to my Forest home. The forest is in a cliff plateau high grant walls." Laz looked to the south then points "It's in that direction, I think it be best that we arrive in front of the gates and not in the forest itself."

He looked Trisys "I think I might know what's happening. It's a guess but your a magical being correct? Some magical life have issues with Iron and others with blood. Perhaps we should travel in two groups to lesson the effects on you fair Lady." He smiled then "I think you would like my home it has many magical beings among the grand trees."

The Gre'shil pack was not oblivious to what was happening. The went after the caucus with predatory glee Ripping sections off the body with teeth and claws. Oddly none seem to really eat any they were carving up the body. Then Scar lifted some of the finer cuts of meat and went to the Khelari he lowered down in a bow pose and held up the flesh. "Your Kill. Your feast. Not right for us to eat till you are satisfied."

The Female Gre'shil hissed looking very annoyed and quietly to another Gre'shil "Me think Female is Kaja. NO pack offered kill to others before eating. She act like Kaja."

The spider had made it's way deep into the jungle and settled down. Looking over it's wounds the biggest was the missing legs two stumps ended in a scab of now dried green blood. His body had many spots where bullets penetrated or cracked the hard shell.

The worst however was his abdomen he was having trouble breathing bullets had damaged his box lungs. His black eyes scan his abdomen looking at the air holes as he breathed. Sighing he spotted some of the air holes was spitting out blood.

Settling down more he folded his legs. He needed rest the blood loss was making him drowsy. His body was shifting the flow of blood in his body valves closing to stop the loss. As he drifted off into sleep/unconscious he wondered if he would be able to regenerate from the damage to his organs.

"I think we need to get her away from the smell of the blood. Perhaps M'lady you can transport us to my home where we can get cleaned." Lazardarus then looked at the Gre'shil "Perhaps not all of us... I don't think they will be welcomed at my home."

Scar looked at the group then at the Khelari "We stay" He went over "Scar can help"

OWW! Now we zombies were people too!

Really we just want to eat your brains!" And get Double XP! Starting tonight for me

"Clearly some kind of reaction to the blood." Lazardarus got up and walked a bit away and tried to clean his own arms. "What I wouldn't give for a nice waterfall to stand under."

The Gre'shil was watching the activities and from time to time look at the remains of the beast. A few licked their lips. Scar then blinked "Where green female go?"

Two legs were blasted off from the rounds. Greenish blood seeped out of the wounds. The spider had two choices fight till he died or run.

He chose to run rushing for the jungle like plants and moving in a Zig Zag pattern to avoid being hit from the gunfire.
