    i have to agree with Spyte .. the only times i have found any worthwhile villian RP has been either as part of a plot line ...and the best one of those involded villains fighting villians ... or as a themed SG situation....
    the problem then is it needs some one to lead them to move anything forward

    Also the type of crime our villians are based around thens no to make for good interaction .... ie the lone assasin , the gangland boss, the evil gene splicing professor and the demonic werewolf just dont go to the same places and have no reason to meet ...

    a lot of the RP at GG is a new hero turning up and meeting the veterans to learn the trade ... not really going to happen on the villian side ...

  3. Ed and the three Tank freaks became a maelstrom of deadly blows , each side throwing in all of their raw power , and with both making rapid use of their regenerative powers is was clear that this would not be a quick melee ......

    Molly soon found the uneven floor , strewn with massive power cables and relay boxes ,did not make a good place to try to aim a gun , as most of her bursts sped wide of the on coming Swiper Freaks , and the few rounds that hit did not seem to slow the charge ..

    Even Tims Temporal vortex did not induce the Freaks to slow , the three Swipers hit phased out , but continued , ending up face to face with Tim , playfully swinging razor-sharp cyber-blades through Tims torso... Swiper number four carried on heading for Ed's open back .

    And from above the two Snipers switched aim onto the pink clad rocket sending two electric bolts at Molly ..

    Having been drive back by the grenade blasts Kata and Nox could only look through the Tim-blocked Hatch and gasp as the cyber-blades seemed cut right through Tim .....

    Her boots having skidded Molly way off to the right she could see deeper into the room , spotting four more Freaks and the multi-appendaged form of a Meat Doc ... working on the far side of the control banks around the central pillar ...
  4. Molly was just far enough into the room to hear Ed's rude-word echo of Wilds rude word . . Tim only caught the venom they where spat out with ..... .

    the room was a large 150 by 150 square , at its centre a massive pillar of relays , power units and cables , run from the pillar to both left and right a 20 tall 30 wide walls of computer banks , high tech devices and .. gizmoes ..... arrange around the central pillar four more pillars , like the spots on the 5 face of a dice, electrical induction towers glowing with the leaping sparks of raw electrical power ....

    to left and right of the hatch way metal steps lead up to a walk way that circles the whole room ,
    both floors and walls are covered in cables , relays and odd Freak-tech devices ....

    also in the room , and the cause of the two rude words ... a number of Freaks ...... left of centre ,between the hatchway and the pillars stood 4 Swiper Feak , each now sending a spinning saw blade missile towards the emerging Heroes .. rapidly to be followed by the Freaks themselves ....

    while off to the right in a similar position stood 3 Smasher Tanks , each having just fired of their grenade launchers ..spitting metal cylinders of death..... (( and KB , yes 3 AoE KB attacks centred on the doorway , all please check you KB protection )) ...and engaging their enhanced legs to charge them towards the Hatchway ....

    and unseen due to their high position a pair of Sniper Freak shoot off a pair bolts of electrical nastiness at those leading the way into the room ........
  5. The combined efforts of Wild's blasting and Ed's yanking final kills off the speakers and with abuzz and crackle the wall of sound fall silent ... now the airwaves become dominated by Wilds boots upon the metallic lip of the hatchway as she cross into the dark ...

    (( order of march please ))
  6. 173 seconds ticked away and the lights flickered back on, but dimmer as if less current was passing across their filaments .... in the lesser light the hatch way was a black void .. waiting with a deadly promise .... as eyes adjusted to the new light level the wall of speaker crackles back into life .. this time screaming out a heavy thrash metal beat .....
  7. Suddenly the Hatch door flung itself fully open , disappearing into the room beyond , instantly the Techno-hate music stopped ....the echoing clang of the door the only sound remaining ... and then the lights went out .....
  8. As Wild flexed her fingers she heard a most disturbing sound , some one had just knocked the latches off the hatch door .. ..and that sound came from the other side of the metal door .....
  9. Wild thinks ..very large power relays + 10,000s of randomly aimmed bullets = ......
  10. With the only annoyance remaining the insistent rage of the Techno-hate music, all had time to draw breath and look around .....
    none of the Freaks showed any sign of rising , the one Kata had cut was bleeding out , the others seemed to have a health green glow of rad induced coma , or the flattened features of Ed's fist treatment ....

    with time to peer about the victors could see the wooden crates held ammo , 9mm ,5.56mm , 12.7mm , .5 , and a range of natty shotgun rounds ..
    The plastic creates seem to hold electrical and mechanical parts .. all bearing the stamp of Crey Industries......

    beyond the partitioning wall to the left the space was given over to bedding and the personal junk of the Freaks , from the amount it looked to house some 30 ish in number , beyond the right hand wall was the rooms original fixtures , the sewer pumps and controls .. relocated to make space while not alerting the sewer company to the bases location .

    The line of pillars seemed to be a series of power relays , each with five or more power cables running from them , just passed these lay the rooms far wall .. , just left of center a short flight of metal steps leads to a door , a closed water tight hatch , one person wide .......

  12. no i assumed all went in , but ed and wild where otherside of wall so saw less of the closing thats all
  13. Ed's target outsmarted him by the simple means of turning off his hover and dropping to the floor , Ed however was forced into a rapid series of turns and twists to avoid the powercables strung across the celling ...the Stunner Freak then flung his Tesla Cage around Nox

    Molly's shot clipped the freaks metal arm a sped off into the dark.....as she was forced to duck back to avoid the stray bolts that missed Wild , Wilds shots where better and the Juicer Freak was downed in a glowing green haze ...

    Even suffering the slowing effects of the Heroes array of powers and the hits from Kata 's knives the freshly risen Freak crossed the ground fast and launched his Bladed arm at Kata head ...
  14. Ed gave a rapid thanks for his Armour of faith , as it blocked most of the bolt , but he still tasted tin as the current flowed through his body , arcing back out via his wing tips ....

    It was a exchange of blasts , for just as Wild's ball of radiation exploded staggering the three Freaks , so the now flying Stunner Freaks Tesla Cage surrounded Wild landing form .....

    Ed and the charging trio meet is a swirl of dark blows and swirling blades...the weakened the Freaks were soon smashed down , but not with our cost , , Ed's trade mark flame shot pants had been badly torn and the flesh below was having to reknit to stop the blood flowing on to the floor.....these freaks where hard hitters...

    Now both Stunner and Juicer fired off bolts at Ed .... and one of the blatted freaks started to clamber upright
  15. Molly's enhanced vision could see the iris door was firmly closed , the electrical flash seemed to have stopped , leaving the door silent and shut , ....

    with the door closed the Techno-Rage music too was gone ... leaving the Kata , Nox and Tim staring at the crud encrusted door segments ....
  16. .....to Ed's utter disgust the falling volume of the music steadied and then start to rise back to its former teeth shaking levels .... but he lacked time to seek further cables to cut ...the Juicer let fly his bolt of electrical death at Ed . The 3 Freaks to the right raised of collection of bladed cyber weapons and started to charge .. the Juicer's buddy floated towards the ceiling .. blue flares of power building around him........ it seems the fashion was going to be old ....
  17. Ed soon found the source of the music , the wall he was now atop was in fact a metal clad speaker stack , the vibration from the massive output causing Ed's eye to loose focus , only his heighten vision , a gift of his demonic body , allowing him to adjust and see beyond ...

    As Wild Red followed a massive discharged arched across the maw-like doorway , forcing Kata , Tim and Nox to take a half blinded step back ..... Molly's Optical sensors where forced to shut off for a fraction of a second to avoid overload from the great flash , sparing her eyes , .. so only she saw the speed at which the doors segments slammed shut , ....

    Ed and Wild ears heard the doors metallic slam over the musics roar ....while their eyes took in the layout across the speaker wall ...

    Beyond the music wall lay a large open space , say 70 wide 50 deep bounded on the far side by a row of Freak metal clad pillars , say 10 to 15 between each pillar ,...
    to the left another freak built wall this time ceiling height runs to the line of pillars ......
    to the right the speaker wall ends in a pillar , a short gap then a second pillar , from this second pillar another ceiling high wall runs towards the far line of pillars ..
    thus making a central rectangle of space ....
    there is clearly more open areas to the left pass the wall , and beyond the far row of pillars.

    The whole area is criss-crossed by low hanging cables , and lit by the full spectrum of coloured lights , many pulsing in time to the Techno-Scream music

    With in the central rectangle Ed and Wild could see a pile of junk and rubbish heaped against the left wall , just off centre run 3 low rows of packing crates , plastic , and just shy of the right hand wall a tumbled mess of wooden crates .

    Ed's now pained eyeballs spot 3 Freaks trying to grab stuff from the wooden crates , 2 more Freaks standing in the central gap of the far row of pillars ...one is raising it gauntlets to make the familiar Juicer pose of bolt hurling ......

Okies .. the plan ..is to work through the base as a series , a short series ,of sections.. i will present a section ..your people tell me what you do to cross that section , how you plan to deal with any freaks or items etc..please make it clear to me by some means , even PM's what powers you are using so we get the correct reactions ,

    i will wait till everyone has posted ..then run the section feedback and present the next section ... unless you tell me i will assume no down time between sections .. so please remember long recharge times .. no nova spamming

    give what has gone before please make it clear the type and level of damage you inflict on the freaks ......

  20. As if to answer Ed challenging tune , the Iris door slowley strateded to open , its movement silent and smooth , the electrical field covering the door now causing eye bitingly bright sparks of blue-white discaharge to leap across the widening gap as the doors segments slide back .

    Within is revealed as a chaos of multicoloured lighting falling upon walls clad in the Freaks graffiti , scrawled in the shocking hues of the day-glo range of paints.

    The Iris door fails to full open leaving ,as it it has been modified to do , each segment of it leaves a one foot triangle of metal around the rim of the door way ..turning the portal into what seems a jagged toothed rimmed maw.. with blue sparks jumping from tooth to tooth ..

    Even over the voice of Ed the Freaks music blasts out , a harsh and distorted beat of techno hate , the space beyond the doorway is clearly huge, but is sectioned by metal clad Freak built walls and pillars , all carrying masses of cables at head hight , clear of the sewers liquid flooring ....

    Just below the Freaks music can be heard the drone and thump and whine of heavy machinary being driven beyond its limits , ....


    The open door way seems to return Ed's challenge... saying come play on my turf ,,dare you !

    (( room layout , what you see so far .. from the door c 20 feet ahead is a freakbuilt wall c20 feet tall , celing is 30 feet .... to the left this wall ends 40 feet away in a pillar 10 feet diameter ..there is a a gap... then a second pillar ...then open space till out of your line of sight.. to the right the wall ahead curves away from the door , but some 40 feet to the right of the door another wall runs directly into the room creating a passage way between itself and the first wall(ahead) ...))

Distance way a good guess in the pipefilled , shadow clogged tunnel but Ed could see someway ahead was one of those massive iris doors .. he could also see the ripple of electrical current dancing across the metal segments of the door . Getting a little closer he could also make out a junk plie beside the doorway , the typical mix of ganger base trash , that even the sewers tailed rats where avoiding ....

    oh there is always Smeg-face if you want to call a witness for the proecution .. or another Freak ...
  23. okies once we have all the victi... err characters assembled in the sewer .. if you are want to be there be quick in arriving ....can we have a idea of order of march .. and what powers beyond standard def powers are up and running ie if you invis NOW is the time to say ...and what the plan is .... next part of route is a tunnel half filled with pipes so you have to zig zag down the tunnel ....NB this is a Co-op thread so villians and heroes can team ..
