What the topic says. I know Fire and probably Ice are better but I've played both primaries to death. Also, all things being equal, I would lean towards Plant for the cheaper purple sets as I'm not looking to spend a billion infamy. Basically it looks like a choice between AoE stun and -def vs. seeds of confusion for farming to me. Haven't played much with confuse (or played this game period in a while) so I'm not entirely sure how the xp-stealing aspect affects you any more.

I think I gave you the wrong impression. I have several 50s already, it's that my very first toon I ever made did not reach level 50 until 5 years after I made it. Yeah, I haven't been playing an hour every other week or something like that. If Mr. Bandwagon really hasn't reached level 50 with anything until now, then his accomplishment deserves the awe.

Well I'm probably doing my Storm/Dark before I try my Ice/Storm again so hopefully all the tohit debuff will keep me from having to retoggle all the time, but it still doesn't sound great.

ok can someone please explain the deal with storm to me? I'm being told they're good, and yet their offensive toggles get dropped every time they're mezzed - where's the good? (back after a year and don't know my own toons)

Also I'm trying to pick a new hero to PL ideally for dueling and right now not into making another blaster - thinking mind/therm but open to suggestions there.

I was thinking about the cold/dark mostly even though I heard corrs were better now simply because I hate aid self. I heard Storm was in pretty bad shape though because of mezzes dropping all the offensive toggles?

Ok so I'm back for some of the summer to screw around and really have no idea how anything works. After a few brief explanations it seems like half of my characters are kinda worthless. I could install mids on this laptop and show my builds but honestly they're probably too outdated to be relevant. So basically, if anyone can suggest builds for any of these characters, I'd appreciate it. This will be live and at most IO'd with uncommon sets as I'm not going to waste my time farming for lotgs/purples/pvp sets - also for level 50 fights 99% of the time probably.
