Reminder: Hami raid this Saturday, 4 pacific/7 eastern! Also no one likes wasting an hour begging for emps in globals, so if you're planning on coming, be there on time. If we can't get started by 4:15, the raid will be canceled.

How about a raid on the 24th, next Saturday, at 4 pacific?
-
Good luck! I have work that day so I won't be able to make it.
-
Also, have you considered joining LB? It's a good channel for forming TFs and such.

Quote:Really? I would think atleast 30 - 40 players (probably dont need that many) have atleast 1 level 50 vigilante or rogue. If not a villain. Unless vigilantes and rogues can't enter hami zones? I usually bring a hero to all hero side raids so I've never tried.
Vigilantes and rogues can enter Hami zones. But it's like pulling teeth to get people to show up to hero side raids. I don't want to try it villainside (where it really isn't that different anyway). -

I must say, the queue screen is quite nice.

Quote:Aren't you just adorable? Were you involved in either of those player organizations?
Did you take the screenshot?
I fail to see who, where, when, of any business of this screenshot concerns you.
This thread was bumped due to trolling my Private Eyes and Dance Practice.
And you just continue it.
And here's the deal. The banner Matt's using has pictures of people who did not give permission to be in his advertising, including some friends of mine and some people I have a lot of respect for. It is also a disgraceful logo, being much afflicted with JPG artifacts and bad graphics settings, but we already discussed that. I think it's would be a better idea for Matt to use a screenshot from one of the events he's been running, as it will be a) relevant to the thread and b) there won't be any permission issues! -
Quote:But the screenshot's clearly on the front steps of City Hall...? Are we talking about the same thing here?I'm not stealing no ones images nor using the Obsidian Operations Rules as an excuse.
If you must know "what" Liberty Round Table was, it was something like PERC. LRT did not have a chairman, nor was multi-server. It was just for Liberty. It had Gel, Outlaw, Steele, Me, and few other SG leaders. My idea came to me when LRT should have a Logo. I set this up, if you want to go back 15months to get "my" thread then go ahead. I set this one up, didnt have a good turn out then Gel or someone else wanted to take a Co-Op image. This was done in RWZ near the one badge in the vegetation area on a big cliff. -
The Hami raid was a success! Many thanks to Paul Metcalfe, Sharp n' Pointy, Coals, and Doctor Celsius for leading teams. (I forget to grab globals, sorry.)
I should probably update my macros before next time. -

Quote:Just wanted to remind people of this. I am completely serious about the 15-minute rule, too.I'll be leading a Hami raid at 4 pm Pacific on Saturday, July 9.
I don't want to waste anyone's time, so if we don't have enough people to start by 4:15, the raid will be canceled. Please keep that in mind.
Also I'll be running EoE hunts before the raid. Keep an eye on LB/Robo's Lounge if you want in! -
Quote:It's a bug. There's reports circulating that incarnate exp has sharply decreased since I20.5, and based on my experience I think it's true; not quite sure if it's a bug or "working as intended".

Quote:I agree. It's hilarious how many people on the forums seem to think that people playing the game for free are all automatically going to be terrible people intent on griefing (how? in local?). I've only talked to one trial player in the six months or so since I resubscribed, but he was actually pretty nice. Give them a chance before you judge them.I'm planning on staying on Liberty. Liberty is my "home" server. I think people moving to the pay-only server are severely overreacting. Being able to pay a subscription doesn't automatically make you a nice person, and being a free-to-play player doesn't automatically make you a bad one. There are plenty of people who can pay a subscription who are jerks, too, after all. You just have to learn how to deal with them.

I'm sure the raids will go faster as we get back into the swing of things. Was that your first time leading, Matt?
-
The last raid I ran took a long time to get enough people, too, but that was right after issue 20 launched and people were spamming trials like mad. Hopefully next week's raid (Wednesday at 9 eastern, led by @Self-Actualization) doesn't have that problem!
-
@Self-Actualization will be leading a raid at 9pm tonight.

Hey guys. If you would like to lead a team at a Hami raid (literally the only qualification is the ability to go in a circle; knowing what "clockwise" means is optional, but encouraged), please send me a tell (@Rianeva) or PM me or something.
Also, I would like to get a weekday evening raid going at some point this week, now that my schedule's lightened up a bit. I'm thinking Wednesday, maybe? The only night I've ruled out for sure is Friday night so as to avoid interfering with the MSR. Ideas? -
Quote:For those who are curious, Disruption Arrow (from TA) and the Disruption Grenade that level 40+ Longbow Nullifiers have sort of the same flickery and hard-to-see effect as the old Sonic graphics, I think.Images won't really do much - as I recall, discussion seemed to narrow the sonic graphics issue down to the kinda-sorta visible nature of the shields plus movement.
For instance, this:
http://www.cityofheroes.com/images/issue5/sonicd1.jpg
doesn't really give much of an idea of just how *bad* these were. (And that's from the official Issue 5 overview page.)
Surprisingly, I'm having a heck of a time finding other images of them.
To answer the OP, I didn't have trouble with Sonic, nor do I have trouble with any of the Incarnate graphics.
