Only exception would be Apex and Tin since you need the Alpha slotted but even then I see no reason to list or demand any of the other slots.
Good points. I feel this way but this weekend made wonder.

Maybe I'll just progress like this:

    -Alpha, J, L, D, & I Slotted(as I get them)
    -Alpha, J, L, D, I, H, M, G, & V Slotted(As I get them)
-Omega Slotted(as I get it them)

    and leave it at this.

Another question. When does the Level changes come? I've done the level shifts but I'd like my searches to say 51, 52, 53 and 54 when I get them.

Just a few comments about this. How do you start the trials without the LFG? I saw Prometheus in Ouro but you can't start it there can you? Where are the trial contacts?

Also, I thought Pocket D was the spot. Where in the RWZ? The LFG is useful because I could do other things while waiting and then get sent back to my previous location when I was done. I could do/setup for the WST and the Trials :-) and not have to move 1 step.

Surprised was more my reaction. I don't take it personal. I just want to find a better way to provide incarnate slotting information.

I got jerked a lot this weekend :-)

Here's my reply. I find these types:

    1. Normal leaders
    2. Jerks/Psuedo Leaders just being selective unnecessarily
    3. Vet Leaders with real game knowledge from experience.

Every now and then I run across Jerks on all the servers but I had this happen twice in one weekend. I wasted a lot of time this weekend crafting and waiting in LFG queue. This game is getting more complex and I need to think ahead. The things that happened this weekend put this issue to the top of the list.

Freedom. Twice I was asked this weekend about specific slots. I was booted from a ITF because I didn't have the leader's slots in Judgement and Interface(Saturday) and Sunday I was booted from LGTF for not having specific slotted in Judgement and Lore(Sunday).
  6. My question is about how to communicate your slotting in the search terms. Over the weekend, I got booted from some TFs because I wasn't slotted a certain way. I hope to find a better way to communicate my status so I'm not wasting my time online:

When I started this back in December through till the new slots I listing my progression as such:

    Alpha slotted
    Alpha slotted M
    Alpha slotted M, S, C, N(as I got them)
    Alpha Slotted(All 12)
    Alpha Slotted M+4, S+4, C+4, N+4 (As I got them)
    Alpha Slotted (All 36)

My system worked fine in the past but with Judgement, Lore, Destiny and Interface things need to change. With the Alpha, the big thing was just getting slotted. I have never been on a team yet that asked for a particular slot.

But with J, L, D and I, leaders are asking for specific slots. It will take me quite a while to get all these new slots plus we're getting new slots soon too. I'm just looking for suggestions on how to list myself better in the seach terms.
  7. I hear everyone complaining the pet AI. Since I20 my pets/mercs have been better behaved than ever.

During combat over the weekend, my Mercs spread evenly out over 180 degrees to the target and didn't cluster when attacking targets. Sometimes, I saw ranged clustered "V" attacks. Also, they didn't just run into combat especially my commando. I was quite pleased.

My question about i20 is when will we get MORE minions? Everyone is getting them with the Lore slot but I have no desire for idfs, seers or clocks. I just want more mercs(soldiers, special ops/Preferred, and commandos) for uniformity. I probably will not slot this power. Having a power for 5 minutes with a long recharge is questionable to me. The incarnate trial fighting is at least 15 minutes.

    So far I've experienced:
    • Random disbanding of the league mid Trial
    • Crash to desktop without warning
    • Sound loop lock up
    • Rejoin LFG not working
I've experienced all of these but I get the disband and crash only when the groups are larger than 12.

I am able to rejoin but this option is only available if you were disconnected.

Finally, I wish they would raise the queue number before creating teams. The LFG was suppose to make teaming easier but I wish they would set it higher like 15 users or more because 1 or 2 always drop. I was spending too much time loading and then aborting.

I forgot to add this. I notice this problem only during 3 red times/peak.

    I AM making progress...

Its just that I am bored out of my mind repeating the same two bits of content repeatedly.

I haven't even finished the first judgement slot on one character, and I am not having fun doing these trials anymore.

    Am I alone in this?

I can't even bear to log into the game because I know all I will be demanded to do is incarnate content, which is just the two same tired boring trials.
10 trials should open up all of your slots. things should be good for you now. You probably have enought merits/threads to load all 4 slots too.

I don't think this is going away, it needs to be tweaked but that's it. I think the LFG needs to be confirmed to load when it's 80-90% full not the 50% it's set to now.

Also, I ran a Behaviorial PUG with 24 last night at 11:30PM EST and it was amazing. The only problem I had was that I was disconnected during the raid and couldn't reenter.

I'm sorry to hear about your problems, friday night. How many did you have on the team? Reschedule this for next weekend. On saturday, I was able to beat Marauder without grenades with Lambda PUG of 8. It was weird but I'm happy. Also, I opened all 4 slots should I'll be ready for the next group meeting. I just have to craft now.

EDIT: At 11:30 PM last night I did a BAF PUG with 24 and it was amazing. I got some cool badges(we killed all escapees) before I was disconnected.

Are you going to try to run this again this weekend? All 4 of slots are open and filled now

But the crashing is just horrible and the new incarnate trials are pretty low key story wise, and frankly the more I run them although they get easier every go, but once you get past the big bangs and the tricks, in terms of content they are pretty average. As has been mentioned by others in this thread, "Godlike" beings like incarnates stopping a jail break is a bit of a rubbish storyline, and lo and behold its not not incarnate stuff we take down in Lambda it's a science boosted serum drinking Marauder.

Which then begs the question: If science can do so much for Marauder and the Praetorians, why do we have to be messed in the head by a hole in the ground gone mad?
In my final opinion, I like this version. I like the tfs. I can play with others at most levels. I read about the new slots so I feel better and I've opened all of my slots now so I'm set to go. I can't rush this like when I did the alpha slots. I'll mature my other characters before I go deep into this. I'll do one to just see what the new powers look like though.

My only negative is the newUI and I went back to the classicUI so I'm happy. Nice Job.

After all of our talking, guess what happened tonight? I beat Lambda with a PUG group of 8. No acid grenades either. I did go back to the classicUI.
I still couldn't find the join trial in progress button.

    5. Creating a League takes bloody ages. It's horrible
    6. the interface for the whole Incarnate guff is dreadful

    It's not this bad...

I played the 20-40 tfs and they are wonderful. They even give shards.

I did go back to the classicUI. I was kicked off a ITF today because I wasn't slotted in one of the new ones.

Also since the people who are willing to actually lead leagues are in all likelihood forming their own pre-formed leagues the queue formed leagues are less likely to have someone coordinating them (although as more people learn the trials this will start to change).

The best way to do the trials at the moment is to ignore the LFG feature and form a full trial team ahead of time. Global Channels are good for this but you can also try broadcast in a co-op zone (RWZ and Pocket D are popular for this on Virtue)

Again it comes down to teamwork and coordination. If the entire league runs off in 24 different directions then yes the Tankers, Brutes and Scrappers will take the longest to fail since they are the most self-contained ATs. However a coordinated league works together and for that all ATs are useful. A pure melee league can succeed but having other ATs along makes things a whole lot easier. The support ATs make everyone tougher and stronger so enemies die faster. The ranged/AoE ATs (Blasters, Khelds and Crabs) help keep the adds on the AV under control and provide more damage against the general spawns. Control ATs can mitigate damage from all non-AVs and stop escaping minions in the BAF. Stalkers and Banes can help a lot with the equipment hunt in Lambda and their spike damage is useful against bosses and AVs.

The thing is for this to work the different ATs need to support each other. Again this comes down to part of the social failing of the LFG tool. A pre-formed league will naturally exhibit better coordination since even if the players don't know each other before they have unconsciously entered into a defacto agreement to work together. Plus you have at least one person who is willing to take charge.
The coordination is another issue. I got to be the team leader on one. It's way different than the regular TF. I had to manage a lot. For example, I had to create a tab just to view the chat from all the league members. I had to switch back and forth between the team list and the chat tab and I had to scroll up and down the team list. Kind of a hassle during gameplay. In the old UI/system, I could talk to everyone by clicking the team("T") button....maybe my setup is configured wrong. I'll look at this later or maybe I'll try the trials with old UI.

Finally, is there a way to invite others to your trial in action? We could of salvaged a few if we just had a few more.

I agree with your comments. Over the past few days, I had LFG start and then quit. I must of spent 20 minutes. I have not been on a team with 24 yet. I just wish people would just play with each other. I hate thepartiality that is arising. The Lambda has a max of 8, right. The Behavioral is the 24 one, right? Also, where is the contacts for those 20-40 trials? I would like to run those tonight.

Finally, I20 had a good beta with lots of involvement why didn't they catch this "social" issue then?

If you only run a trial when you will get an E Merit then your earning rate for common/uncommon components (both drops and thread crafting) should be about right for the rate you get rare/very rare components through E Merits.

Personally that's the route I'm taking. Running the trials a bunch of times every day seems like a good way to burn myself out. Running a few trials a day and swapping characters so I always get an E Merit is much more enjoyable. Sure, it'll take me longer than someone who grinds them out as fast as possible (I haven't even unlocked the new slots yet, let alone filled them) but it's not a race.
I'll look closer at this. Thanks for your comments. Over the past few days, I've played a few trials but everyone they drop or quit. It's frustrating. The LFG is a good idea but it doesn't seem to work right, right now. I get on teams where they aren't full. How do I join trials with full teams? Also, the All Tanker/Brute Archetypes(because of their high DPS and hit points) seem to be the only ones able to successfully complete these trials. This is not a model for group play. I don't like that at all.

This version is hard work, Golden Girl, the college student. It requires literally billions of inf/infamy to actualize the slots(threads, shards, and salvage are not enough)...and we only have two trials right now to do it with. I don't look forward to this. I opened the four slots yesterday but I'm going back the WSTs and the low content until they build a few more trials. There's a lot to explore here until then.

At this level, you have to consider seriously your choices. They is why people will wait. We have no option for respecing Slots. It's not about "fun" now.
