8. The first time I flew...and the 15 min it took using hover to cross Perez, I could get food & other things done while getting to the mission...good times
9. First time I saw the Rularuu...lvl 7 in Steel & their invasion hit...splat & debt...lol
10. Introducing my best friend to this game...learning all the new stuff later on from her as I had rl grab me away...

I'll miss all Y'all. I hope that Co* can be saved...if not, I pray we can play again somewhere else.

Memories...

Rain falls outside my home. The patter of the drops lulls me into a dreamlike-state...I stare at the scraps of paper strewn about the floor. They form a mosaic of my life, their colors almost like stained glass. So many stories told in those pages, so many hidden from view and were never told...

The grey clouds of dawn spoke of a rainy day as Morrigan stood on one of the beachs in Talos watching the waves wash away the letter to her gradmother. The powers she could no longer controll had almost ended her life. She rubed the wristband that kept her alive, wishing there was another way. This felt like giving up, letting go of all that she had acomplished; letting everyone believe her dead. Starting over again as a 'normal' was something she hadn't planned for. At least she was able to shift her accounts to her new name. She glanced across the waves she'd never fly over again towards the islands to the north. Bittersweet memories of victories and defeats at the hands of the denziens there flashed through her mind. Turning, she saw, in the distance, another of the many roaming groups of thugs she'd fought many a time. Fire flashed in her eyes and she almost started towards them, ready for a fight. A gentle hand rested lightly on her shoulder stopping her.

"No more Luv. We've other duities to attend to now. Like getting married. Or had you forgotten our appointment with the priest?" He turned her to face away from the thugs and towards himself. "Will everyone who knows be there?"

"Yes. All of my friends in Pax will be there. They aren't too happy with my choices lately, but they will be there Seaghan. Will Molly and Polly be there?"

"Maybe. I left without saying farewell, as I said I would." He looked off into the distance. "Should we go back to the Isle? To pay respects to the rest of the family, that is." Seaghan looked down at her tear streaked face and softly wiped one away. "It would be a fresh start there, if'n we've a mind to stay. Nothing holding us here now. We've burned bridges, important and powerful ones. We can live like we spoke of during that last wonderful summer. Shall we?"

"Lets." Morrigan kissed the fingers which trembled, slightly, from fear of change. "Grams would want that."

She entwined her fingers into his and they left behind the remnants of her letter. As they walked off towards their new life, the waves pulled away exposing this last line:

"...and with that Morrigan Fay and Philosopher's Stone died Grams. Mori and Seaghan live again, just like that summer so long ago. We love you."

I've been reading the 'long thread' about the problems w/ the participation system & I hope that Arcanavile doesn't pop a gasket ... I am wondering how much my participation score is affected by my pets & psudo-pets though. I am thinking of setting up 2 BAF runs where I am a team of one - so as to not hurt, I hope, everyone else - and try pet usage on one and no pets on the other (wagers I get the 10 threads each time? even money is my bet ). I would tell everyone what I plan on doing up front so no confusion occours. I am just curious as to the differences & I would love to see if I even meet the required threshold minimum w/o pets. 2 runs = nothing for statistical analysis but it "might" help me udnerstand what is going on w/ her a bit more & adjust my playstyle of her to help everyone gt the higher table chance (probably not though thinking about it - I can't really see me changing her tactics much as how I play her seems to work. As long as the server-side lag doesn't get awful, I can usually throw everything when the icons say they are ready during the 24-man BAF run w/ the most recent patch fixes.)

Mostly I wrote this because I didn't know about the 2nd purple drop. I caught a glimpse of the first message as I looked up from typing instructions to hit the 'go to hospital' button after the turrets found their favorite target ... they like me - a lot - as I stop to type directions for teams when the AV's spawn.

I know I'll get one ... eventually (even if I have to break down & use Emp/Astral merits to get one.) It is just a bit frustrating as she is the only one I intend to open the slots on for the time being - I'm waiting to see what the other options are for soloing, small teams, et cetera ...This was the "frustrated' post mostly due to having 2 purples in the recipe tray that wern't there at the start of the runs and no rare/very rare table lol.

...Pearl Rose is one of my few 'lucky' alts with the random number generator...

During tonights multiple BAF runs I got 2 purple recipies to drop ... Rag. Chance for KB & Fort.(?) Sleep/End ...

...what in the name of all that is ... do I have to do to get a rare or very rare reward table?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!??!??!

I have never seen them in all the runs w/ her ... I thought it was due to her propensity to be Veng bait in any trials/TF she leads/runs ... but I am not so certain now ...

*sigh*

...oh well - guess I'll grind them some more...as I still need to open the Lore slot ...

...anyone looking to buy either of those????

Sorry I haven't been doing this as often as I once did - RL is a harsh mistress and my time has been cut-back dramitically. Y'all have made me smile during everything & this is one of the ways I can say 'Thank You' to all Y'all.

On Saturday night I lead a League that ran both Lam & BAF trials. I wanted to say "THANK YOU" to everyone who ran with me and tiggy . Without All Y'alls help, knowledge & support I don't think they'd have been as much fun as they were.

I am sorry that the last BAF wasn't as smooth as the others during the prisoner phaze. On my part - I got hit w/ being inable to fire off ANY of my powers & then had the ignomy of being confused & held (a first) for almost the last full minute. If I was on Vent - you'd have heard what tiggy DID hear on the other end of the telephone . (however my knitting has made me think up new phrases that may stay in the rotation...I made Hubby turn & look at me w/ one of them & he was in a small team BAF prisoner phase .)

This was the first time for her to experience any of the new content & a first for me leading both. The only reason I knew wat to do is reading the forums & watching Hubby run multiple of these (both failures & wins). I hope that the teams were as balanced (humming Connery's lesson form 'Highlander') as I thought so everyone got iXP roughly comperable to each other - I know that the reward table-thingie is borked, but I do hope nobody got the non-participation 'boobie prize'. Me? I got common ... each time (not complaining - I was able to make my T1 Destiny before I opened it & it has roughly 30% to go & a whopping 99% in Lore *sigh*).
