Responder (Partly Agrees): I like cats too but not because they're furry... I just like the way they purr

End of discourse. No followup needed

Responder (Disagrees):/no

Open ended. OP wants to know why the responder said no (Does he not like cats, does he not like furry... what?)

This is assuming that the OP wants to know why the responder said no in the first place. What if they don't? If I make a thread suggesting "Baby Melee" powersets to be added and ten people reply with "no" and nothing else, I'll reconsider my suggestion. It isn't rude, it's brief. To say that posts like /unsigned, /jranger, /no and such do not contribute is flawed. It might not hold as much merit as a long written explanation of why one disagrees, but the merit is still there.

If one takes something as simple as "no" as being rude, then there isn't much that could satisfy their tender feelings short of outright ignorance to dissenting opinions. That would be FAR worse, in my humble opinion.

Well, he didn't reply to every suggestion that way, just the ones he felt were stupid. And often when asked to elaborate on why he said no, he would.

Uh oh, that last "no" didn't add anything constructive to the punishment/discussion. You'll simply have to ban her from all cookies from here on out.

I really think that the blades aren't all that huge but the screenshots are kind of misleading on size.

As for the golden-hue of Willpower, well there is precedent. Miss Liberty, wife of Statesman, grandmother of the current Miss Liberty was a MA/Willpower scrapper. She would have a golden glow materialize around her after a while from practicing.

Anyway Dev's good job on the blades and I can't wait to see how they look in actual combat.

Aside from that, I'm fairly meh about the blades. My initial reaction was "oh look, it's like the katana set times two!" which was really not what I was looking forward to. I personally would have liked the blades to be a bit shorter and much wider.

I hope that's a good strange noise and not a bad one. Show him a picture of Harley Quinn and compare sounds, then get back to me.
