    Claw/WP build

So glad I found this thread lol. I have a claw/wp scrapper, and would have made the mistake of buying purple IOs when the opportunity came. What is this CoHplanner thing? How hard is it to use? And I think i may agree about not buying resurgence, given as i've had few reasons to use it and really a scrapper can put that pick to much better use.

on a side note, is choosing Hasten a good investment?
  3. thank you, and I appologize. I was informed by the person who set me up with the OS that it was based on mandriva, but whenever I start the puter it says PCLinuxOS. I'll try to find a forum on this OS and see what I can find out. Thank you for all your assistance. when I find the answers I need I'll be sure to post it here.
  4. do you have any idea how to check my current OS version? Does the term PCLinuxOS mean anything? It's the closest to an identity I can find for this system :S
  5. I looked and it already has wget and unrar. if I'm right that's about everything on the list you placed. couldn't find xdelta in synaptic though.
  6. oh good grief. I would not have thought of it.
  7. wget was the first software that I started having trouble finding and figuring out. any particular version? found this site for it: http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/wget/ don't know which to use though or how.
does it matter which type of unrar I get so long as it's linux compatable? It would appear that this puter already has xml::simple for perl... is that ok?
  8. ok, from what i've found out, the version of Linux i'm using is based on Mandriva. Hopefully that means something to you, it's not a lot of help to me :/
  9. like I said. ultra newb to Linux.... I'm not exactly sure which form of linux I'm running actually. i'll try to figure that out and give you a better answer.
  10. Well, I'm very lost on all of the programs that were recommended to get it to work on Linux. When I went to look for a couple of them, I couldn't find the mentioned versions. I really think I'm going to need someone to pretty much take me by the hand and walk me through it :/
  11. .... This is getting monotonous.... Second time in the past two weeks that I have had a toon zoning into Atlas, and the game kicks me out to login.... and keeps kicking me to login. Last time I had an alt toon, also in an Atlas instance, whom I used to petition to get my stuck toon moved. This time, however, both of my toons are stuck. Sry, I'm a freebie user for the time being so two's my limit *sigh*. Is there an alternate out of game method to petition for things like this effectively? or am I stuck until Monday when live chat is available again?
  12. Thanks for the great input folks, I'll see if my bro and friend can pull this off on their computers to any effect. Btw, my friend says he's seen Liberty with 2 yellow bubbles on server select before. Not sure if that means anything to anyone else, I see Freedom that way all the time.
  13. Hi all,

My brother, friend, and I are looking for a low volume server to move to. Our pcs can't handle teaming on large scales in the servers we're used to (ie Freedom and Liberty). We're hoping that finding a server with a low player volume will allow us to play the game with less lag until we're able to get pcs that can handle the game better.
  14. hi,

I'm a returning CoH player, and very newb Linux user. I have KDE 4, and I'm having trouble following the guide for getting CoH to work on Linux... can I get some individual help from someone for a rusty puter user?
