No one plays CoX so they can enjoy killing mobs. The great majority want expensive enhancements to improve their character, because it's just natural for people to strive to be the best they can be, and this means making the best out of their character.

Normal people can't produce energy, electricity, or radiation, or dark netherworldly powers from their bodies.

On the other hand, some people aren't super at all, and that's how they build their characters backgrounds.

So i guess pistols is ok for them x)

I am now officially impressed with I16. The powerset proliferation intrigues me. And the ability to spawn 8 man maps for a solo game? I am pleased by this.

Colour customisation is meh to me, but this is just me.

And I also liked the concept of a newly revamped character creator! :O

More features to be announced also piques my curiosity.

+1 to that buddy, they should go IPB or VBulletin.

And before anyone thinks of mentioning PHPBB, NO!!! Just no.


But in any case, I don't really care about pistols to be honet. Seriously, we're (well, I personally) are supposed to be SUPERvillains, or SOOPERheroes. Where's the 'super' in pistols?

I think this is good for all concerned. The farmers can do what they like and their impact on the game will be heavily reduced.

I can't see it having a huge impact on the markets, and if it gets them out of the MA that'll be a good thing!

Fatming creates supply and demand for everything in the market. Without farmers there'd be no purples for you to buy ^^ (well, arguably a lot less anyway)

That said, farming isn't bad unless it's abusive. (e.g lvl 1-30 in an hour like psychro was going x))

Well, sadly enough, there exists a concept called freedom of speech, and I'm going to quote Thunderf00t (internet superhero) in saying "Freedom of speech is a no holds barred arena"

My point being, there need be no excuse to criticise someone for any reason. I too, would prefer it if people would justify their hatred toward someone with reasons.

I'm going to go ahead and say I have no idea what the costume designer artists have been doing lately, but to be honest I don't have relevant knowledge about Paragon studios to judge them.

If someone would tell me what this Jay character has been working on, and when it is going to be released I'd happily provide my judgments about him.

However, since I know nothing, I'm going to remain quiet.

That's what my villains are like at the moment. Villain is a very ambiguous term that could encompass a lot of meaning. I'm simply out for my own goals and won't let anyone stop me.

Good. I'm tired of having to be a humanoid when I make my character. Always 2 arms, 2 legs, and 1 head.

I applaud NCsoft if they're going to look for an animator and allow us to have different varieties of character model.

(Can anyone say snake body? Or centaur? Or any other range of mythical beings? :P)

Hopefully GR will make up the abysmal last few issues.

I look forward to the new enemies, enjoying being immersed in the hopefully uber level design that is the new zones in praetoria, and hopefully some kewl missions with some story that won't bore me.

I still want new powersets though.

The NCsoft staff actually doing something? That's gonna take a miracle, as already evident on these forums.

Let's just leave the game designers to command the code monkeys how they see fit, and hope they come up with some interesting game content for us to explore come i16 and GR.

Maybe it will help take your mind off of the titanic problem of MA powerlevelling players. But i warn you now, PLvling is not a neew concept, and it happens in every MMO, and there is as of yet not a single MMO that has stopped farming.

CoX will not be the first ^^ So let's take the utiliterian perspective, and let the majority have what maximizes their happiness.

Sorudo apparently made a number of users unhappy with his comments in the suggestion forum. I've seen a few people go to town on him for stuff he's said, but personnaly I'm not an elitist, I'm pretty forgiving to new players

Still, there's little point to trolling, and all it does is end up with threads being derailed. and lol @ rent for the high horse XD
