PCSAR used to do an annual Easter event where we dressed ourselves as eggs and hid. Once we were found, our finder got a prize. One year, I was hiding as the "Golden Egg" and Slax found me. His prize was an hours worth of free emping from me. He never bothered to claim it. I was kind of sad as I was looking forward to seeing what a PvP emp had to do. I'm absolutely certain that if he had taken me PvPing, I would be crowned worst PvP emp ever!

I remember when we were first trying to figure out how to beat Hamidon. To decrease the lag and to make it easier to tell who was who, we used to wear color coded outfits. I was a controller, so I wore a purple outfit. They were very plain, no capes, no auras. We kind of looked like a bunch of power rangers lol.
On one of our first raids, I got teamed up with 7 scrappers. I had bubbles, and my job was to keep them bubbled while they hit whatever they were hitting in the goo. Well, as you can imagine, I was dead more than I was bubbling. I stopped counting how many times I died after 30 in like the first 20 minutes I think. It was all good though. I was having a blast and laughing about it all. I was an honorary scrapper for the day with debt that made it seem I had a horrid case of scrapper lock!
On another raid, I spent the entire raid doing nothing but following the leader of my team with group fly on. Yep, you guessed it. I was on the team of illusion controllers and they were dropping pa on hami. They needed a pilot that day, so that was me.
Remember in the beginning those crazy buds that you had to kill right after you killed Hami? Only after they were dead did you get your Hami-O and not everyone would get one. That was some crazy stuff. The Devs didn't take too long to fix the problem thank goodness.
Eventually we figured it all out and raiding became a nightly thing. We no longer wore our color coded outfits. We had several new leaders step up. People tried to make things go wrong on purpose and there was drama. There was always the call for needing more controllers in the hive. It became quite the drama fest and I stopped going to them. You could always count on a Hami Raid for some good fun tho! -
I"ve been playing here, on Infinity, almost from the very beginning. This was my very first MMO. Why did I pick it up off the store shelf and actually buy it? No idea. I had been looking for something to play, considering trying a MMO, and something about CoH just felt okay. Went home, install went perfect, which almost never happens for me since I m not technically savvy, and here I am, at the end, saddened to see it over. I still play the character I rolled that first day. It's Ravlin, my main girl, my badger for a time, my incarnate, my girl who has seen it all and done most of it.
Obviously I don't post much on the forums, but I've been here since the beginning too. I recognize all your names and personalities, here on the forums and in my global channels. I've teamed with so many of you throughout the years, on Rav and on my alts. I recognize all the old time SG's as well as the newer ones. I've seen this game evolve into something totally different than the game I bought all those years ago, and even though that frustrated me at times, I always stayed. Because of you. The people on Infinity are the best!!!
I know we've all been setting up alternate ways to stay in touch, and I really hope it works. I can't imagine life without checking in to see how my friends in game are doing, I met some of you during some of the very worst times of my life, times that I would never have made it through without you. When I was battling breast cancer and the chemo had me housebound puking my guts out, my friends in PCSAR, INTENSE, and Infinity One saved me from giving up. It was around this time that I met my boyfriend Ruhe in game. He and I started duoing a lot and ended up talking forever on Skype while playing. Here we are 6 years later with him having moved to MI from CA to be with me. I found my soul mate on a video game. Cheesy maybe but totally true. I have best friends that I know I will have forever because of this game. My life is richer because of City of Heroes.
Those who know me, know that Ravvy rambles when on migraine meds and when she's upset, so I'm sorry if this is a TL; DR post, but I felt like there were things this forum lurker actually wanted to post.
I love you, people of Infinity. Hope to spend a little more time with you before they shut things down but if I don't get there, please, take care of yourselves, and maybe we'll see each other in another universe! -
I don't see a "_" anymore. That was friggin fast!!!!

It says all forum name change requests are welcome at this point which I took to mean anyone could ask, not just the NA/EU people!

I think so...but shoot me a "clear mind" so I can be sure I have it right...
That Ironblade...it's not like I don't know my bedtime comes before everyone elses! -
Segrima from Paragon City Search and Rescue has marked this on her calendar and hopes to be there to provide some buffs and healing with your badge and leveling spree! After all, PCSAR has some fond memories of patrolling in the park, and I for one look forward to seeing some heroes fighting there again!

This one isn't made by me, but I had an absolute hoot playing it and thought I would share it. If you've ever wanted to smack one of those goody goody PCSAR people around, and let's face it, who hasn't?, then this is the arc for you!!!
Arc #3612

Made totally in fun by a member of PCSAR so don't worry that we're getting abused too much. We're playing it and having fun beating up our leader Psy-Kid!
