This. I've abandoned all hope for a 50 Tank and will start working on a 3rd PermaDom when I finally get the MM to 50. Gonna make a Plant/Fire on Pinnacle to compliment the Fire/Ice and Earth/Psy, but I guess I'll wait till the Dom changes come through to see what they [censored] up. If I lose my precious PermaDoms, this Going Rogue thing better not suck.

I've read up on that thread with my normal levels of apathy. Instead of just canceling the account or handling it on his/her own terms with customer service, the person decided to turn around and make a forum post griefing the SG to garner sympathy and make him/herself feel justified for crying. This game is better off without people like that.

Had a VG mate make an alt VG with nothing but Thug/Pain Petless MM's. No Pets, all the attacks (Gang War included for effect). I heard they steamrolled as a Superteam of sorts. Whenever I'd play with those toons in SF's and general teaming outside the Superteam environment it felt like I was teaming with weak support toons with unslotted attacks. They looked cool, though. And, it was most likely fun in the ST.

I tried this on my Earth/Psi permDom. faceplanted the first time and was in awe of its awesomeness. Reset mish and switched up my strategy and survived, barely. My AOE Disorient just doesn't cycle fast enough even with 170% recharge.

This is what I was hoping to get out of the MA. Missions I can load up and take out my aggression on and justify all the dough I spend on my Doms.

The fact of people who put their time in being able to pick travel powers early is a wonderful idea.

The not having to take the corresponding prereq doesn't sit well at all. I don't perceive it as gamebreaking, but it does seem to divide the haves and the have-nots just a little bit more.

Empathy isn’t a villainous trait, generally speaking. From a fiction standpoint, it will likely never be given to Villains as a set.

Back to thematics – Empathy isn’t really a villainous trait. From a fiction standpoint, it wasn’t our first choice to port over and the reason corruptors didn’t receive it in the first place as part of the release of City of Villains. If we were to add an “Empathy Like” set, it would need to be all new and not a port of it, to make it fit into the Villainous theme. As such, that fell out of the scope of Issue 12’s powerset proliferation and is why it wasn’t included.

This point can be debated until the end of time. In a game where concept trumps all, not allowing us to decide for ourselves what is evil and what isn't is just beyond comprehension.

Empathy for helping other villians achieve their devious goals? Or perhaps empowering other idiots to do all of your dirty work while at the same time manipulating them into believing that you support their cause.

There. I just made a concept that makes sense. It's not really even that creative. Just saying that it isn't a villianous trait is just an excuse for not wanting to port it over. I can go one step further and say WHY GIVE VILLIANS BUFFS AT ALL? Cold shields, Thermal Buffs, Sonic Buffs, the list goes on. Why would you want to buff other villians? To serve your own purposes in the end, perhaps?

Listen, I am stoked about the new issue, including the VEATS and QOL improvements. But watching you guys try to pacify the screaming of Doom from some of the playerbase is just hurting your original aim. It's no wonder people think the Devs hate villians with responses like this...
