States, I hate to be rude, but if you seriously think that an electric blaster's drain can be helpful againest an AV, you obviously have never played one.

Shadowhunter = drained
Nemesis Rex = drained
Bobcat = drained
Dr Vahz = drained
Psychic Clockwork King = drained
Theres 5-6 others that ive seen drained, and kept drained, that i cant think of the name of.
Electric blasters are fine, why dont you try leveling past 16 before trying to sound like youve got a clue. Any electric blaster that doesnt drain, needs to delete and reroll an energy blaster.

Hmmm.. my level 36 electric/electric blaster says you are full of it. I just asked him.
As for one shotting even LTs at my level. Only with Thunderous blast and only with Aim and buildup. I CAN do it. Just only ever 2.8 minutes.
The secondary effects of electricity are subpar at best. Compared with knockdown, extra damage and slow. It is the worst secondary effect a blaster can have. Period. In PvP we might rock. Might. Since no one has PvPed in this game, no one can be sure what might rock.
As for slotting for Endurance reduction against an AV. I can either do 3x my normal damage (6-slotted for damage) Or I can slot fro Endurance drain. Which MIGHT work agaisnt the archvillan.
The fact of the matter is this. Electric secondary isn't a well thought out power. It needs to be changed. Or made more effective. -

Fine, Statesman, but how about the mission I had today (1 hour timed) to take out Sidokan and His Coven with my L18 Energy/Energy Blaster. The overall mission not too bad in spite of a number of +1 Astral Followers until I got to the Boss (+1 RED) who cast stuns and holds in chains so that the toon could not move, run, attack or anything until dead. He died twice trying to take the boss out and finally gave up and let the mission time out. I have done this mission before Update #2 with other alts and never had this kind of experience. Bug? I have petitioned it.
[/ QUOTE ]
It is a bug. Petition away - though we're working on a fix.
Oh - forgot another change - shrunk the size of wandering patrols.
These are most certainly reactions; had we seen this better on the Training Room server we would have changed each and every one.

Do not try to pin this on us. You go away for conventions. Its your ball. You dropped it.
Edit: The creature that you gave more powers to at higher levls are stillwoth the same xp. -
I say let them take over. They are superior anywho. Chain stun me through US...bunch of BS

I thought I'd post here to explain why developers make changes to MMP games. In a nutshell: because they think it'll make the long term enjoyment better.
Human nature often demands immediate gratification. Sometimes, this comes into conflict with the long term enjoyment.
Case in point: much of our zone distribution, spawn placement and mission difficulty is based on a simple supposition. Players should be entertained/challenged by mobs -2 to +2 levels different. A single +2 minion should be REALLY hard - a single -2 minion should be pretty easy. But that's the range that much of the game hangs on. And that works great for levels 1 to 20, in my opinion.
Starting at level 22, when players get S.O. Enhancements, they quickly outstrip their foes. The missions cease to be entertaining, because a +1 mobs are just too easy. Better XP can be found by taking on +4 mobs in zones. Single characters can take on spawns that are intended for many heroes. And there's no place for a maximum sized group to go in order to find a tough and rewarding battle.
In the case of making the higher level game more fun, I want to make the difficulty of the later levels resemble early gameplay. At first, some players will decry "but I can't do what I used to! Ack! I can't solo two +4 bosses anymore?" True - but they'll have fun battling 3 white minions - which is something you can say at level 15, but not at level 35. Long term, the entire game will sparkle once this sort of balance is restored - because so much of the game design hangs upon it.
Anyway, sorry for my rambling. I wanted to give you a glimmer of the developer reasoning.

Will you adjust xp? If so how much? I fight +4s only because my Invul/ss tanker takes so lon, to fight anything else would be a complete waste of time.( still is actually)
I understand that I will have fun battling the minions, but the real fun for me was getting to those enhancement slots and new powers. Those come easier in the early levels. Of course, this goes back to my "Its way to time consuming for me to level 30+" argument. -

I'm not talking about the simutaneous clickies, I am talking about the fact that solo I get 1 lt and 2 minions per mob(on everage) and duo I get 3 lts and 5 minions
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, here's the solo possibilities: 1 lt., 1 lt. & 1 minion, 2 minions, 3 minions, 4 minions.
The duo spawn seems like the most difficulty spawn: it's possible to get 3 lts. & 5 minions, but it's at the top of the scale.

I have gotten 1 lt and 2 minions many times.

Hell, Im in one right now.
Edit: And they are +ones -

5 stars for you. Sitting in traffic is exactly how I would describe the lower levels. And I do feel the need to drive on the shoulder, get off the pavement completely and drive on the grass, or any other "skipping in line" metaphore you can come up with.
It doesn't feel this way to new players because they don't know any better. But for me, creating an alt is like flying in first class, then getting stuck back in coach. I really want to play that Ice Tank (seriously), but the road to 30 looks like a sun-parched highway in the middle of the desert.
Now I can choose between crawling down this highway, or driving down it in a sports car. For most people, the decision is easily made.

Right on the nose here. -

Here's my stance...
It's the developers job to ensure that fun play equals a reward.
It's not fun if you level up by doing nothing. Now, there will always be an element of this - but in general, spawns are based on team size. Which means that an extra person on your team that is not contributing anything to the battle is a severe detriment. BUT our high level game is a little too easy - which means that high level characters can team up with low level characters - go out and do missions/street sweep - with a high degree of success.
But we are going to be ratcheting up the difficulty of higher levels, meaning that someone trying to "power level" someone will find it more challenging. If someone wants to do that, bravo, but I think we'll see the issue resolve itself....
[/ QUOTE ]
Awesome. Now if we can fix the Extreme (tm) grind at the post 30 levels, so I might not get frustrated and role another character. We will have a winner. -
I can assure you that Electricity does not stun..at all. Their "shaking" animation can be interuptted to attack. As long as they have nothing that they can do(used all of their attacks and are waiting for them to re-pop) they will shake. It looks like bosses and Lts shake off the "stun" faster because their recharge is faster.
