I could have sworn I've seen a screenshot where Arachnos Soldiers in thier first costume slot could take thier helmets off. What happened to that?

Quote:Wow, that is awesome! O.oYeah, I'm gonna' keep bringing out the fact that every single named character in Gaussian's arc takes not just his or her name from Oban: Star Racer, but also their entire personality. Whoever made that arc basically filled his character roster with someone else's characters just about wholesale. I would get genericed if I did that.

Quote:I can see that.Remember, Progressman. You're dealing with a woman who cannot or will not see reason or utilize logic beyond the most simple of concepts.
She will simply toss a winking smiley face on the end of her sentences with the same authority of the common forumite and believe, in haughty arrogance, that she has proven beyond all doubt her beliefs are true.

Quote:Interesting, but I feel a need to respond with this..."The people have always some champion whom they set over them and nurse into greatness. This and no other is the root from which a tyrant springs; when he first appears above ground he is a protector...
At first, in the early days of his power, he is full of smiles, and he salutes every one whom he meets;he to be called a tyrant, who is making promises in public and also in private! liberating debtors, and distributing land to the people and his followers, and wanting to be so kind and good to every one! And if any of them are suspected by him of having notions of freedom, and of resistance to his authority, he will have a good pretext for destroying them by placing them at the mercy of the enemy; and for all these reasons the tyrant must be always getting up a war.
And the tyrant, if he means to rule, must get rid of them; he cannot stop while he has a friend or an enemy who is good for anything."

Quote:Finally, someone who agrees! We in Praetoria seek only to further the betterment of the public, my dear. Do you know why we have such things as prisons and rehabilitation facilities? It is because the public will eventually turn on itself given the chance. When a man decides that his personal needs or desires outweigh those of his neighbors, he is heading down a dangerous path of mistakes and misguided effort.
Mother and her Seers constantly keep watch to ensure our safety should one such self-seeking individual wish to cause us harm. They are not restrictive or brainwashing; rather, theirs is a responsibility to ensure the well-being of all of Praetoria.
Our great Emperor Cole is no murderer or propagandist. His just acts in the past have served only to strike down those who would cause us destruction; the Hamidon and its abominations among them. In that same way, he is preparing to retaliate against the unprovoked attacks from Primal Earth, and he will not cease until the threat is put to rest.
All hail Emperor Cole! -

... is my favorite ending of a story arc in the game.

I couldn't imagine bringing myself to side with the Resistance after this.

I asked around and apparently if you build a Huntsman and take Build Up you do some weird redraw with the Bane Spider Mace. Is that true?

I consider myself lucky to have a unique first name only toon.
I named my Hunstman "Gennady "
He's archetypal 'reformed' Vigilante "Power Responsibility" villian. :P -
Just for fun, what do you think is the most frustrating or difficult enemy in a group that you can come across?

The Martial Art one with the Ninja run seems to be very popular.

I mean, they WERE the first to use them, I don't see why not. :P
