  1. Ok so I replaced most of the luck of Gamblers with Red Widows.

    I took three slots from power build up and gave them to tactics. That was sort of a duh move eh? Shoulda thought of that.

    I took the extra slot out of fly, and assault and reduced Force Bubble by two slots.

    With those slots I increase Temp Invulnerability by 1, and ended up increase Power Build up to six, yet again. I put in a recharge IO for the sixth slot because I noticed a significant part of my defense was coming from Power Build Up, which is only on minimally.

    As this stands I normally get at all times:
    24.3% defence against all but
    35.5% defence vs psionic
    26.8% vs. melee
    34.3% vs. ranged
    26.8% vs. AoE

    Power Build Up increase that to
    40% vs all but
    51.3% vs. Psionic
    42.3% vs. Melee
    50% vs. Ranged
    42.3% vs. AoE

    For every 12.5 seconds of build up, I have 95.5 seconds of normal time afterward. If I put in the Chance for Build up that goes up to 109 seconds.

    My standing Resistance is 46.9 vs Smashing/Lethal, 4.7 vs. Fire/Cold and 6.3 vs Psionic.

    So I'm no tank. I am however a pretty decent front line Leader, which is what the build is for. I'm not taking full aggro but I'm getting some, hovering relatively close to the melee fighters and making sure most of the people get the most out of my auras.

  2. Well its more of a combination of my current build and some of your suggestions. Ill take a look at Redd Fortunes.

    When choosing sets I was looking a lot at Psi defense, HP and HP regen. Im not really worried baout money. I like having end game goals.

    Yeah that Force Bubble slottings no good at all. Im still working on deciding what gets how many slots. This was a slightly rushed.

    Currently Recruiting: The Legion is almost full, but S.T.O.R.M., Incognitus, and The Forsaken are still accepting candidates. The Independents are always accepting new members.

    RP Level: RP-intensive

    PvP Level: Very Casual

    Theme/Concept: The Paragon Universe isn't actually a Super Group at all but several. The Paragon Universe is made up of four small and separate groups, as well as a number of "solo" heroes. By uniting under one SG mechanic it allows us the privileges that large SG provide, and creates a Universe feel, with cross title team ups.

    The Legion: A JSA/JLA style group with well established, big name heroes.

    S.T.O.R.M.: A paramilitary group consisting of soldiers, scientists and power-armor units.

    Incognitus: An arcane-based group struggling to defend the world from the forces of the supernatural - interdimensional entities and dark magic users.

    The Forsaken: A group of darker, grittier heroes operating outside of acceptable law enforcement procedures in order to save the future.

    Independents: Not a group at all, but our solo heroes.


    Activity: The SG is still very young and the best times for activity is not quite clear. We're developing special group nights to help facilitate this.

    Requirements for Membership: We ask that you have a character backstory. This is an RP Group. Each group has its own additional requirements and membership for each must be approved by group Leader.

  8. I just rolled a Force Field Defender on Saturday. By Sunday Night he's just a hair away from 18 and in a great SG. I felt like it was double xp weekend for a while. My Buffs really helped my team roll through levels and up our difficulty.

    I've wanted to take some time and try my hand at FF for a while. Mainly because as a tank, I love playing with a FFer. Some may think, 'well you must not be a very good tank.' Ha! I say to you. I don't need you're bubbles, but I love them when they're there. With a FF on the team, the pressure comes off quite a bit. I can turn off my secondary toggles, care less about the few minions that run toward the squishes and focus on having a ball. It also gives me the opportunity to run my favorite in game tactic, Run in like and idiot.

    I was surprised when so many people were surprised at how useful I was. I received many comments at early levels about how they were worried at first because I wasn't a healer, or how they just didn't know how tough I could make them be. I couldn't believe everyone didn't clamor for a FF like I always did.

    I'll take some time and look at the Knockback Guide. I completely avoided ForceBolt at first, but now I think I'll pick it up to machine gun. I would like to hear some talk about IOs and Epic Power Pools.

  10. I think this is great. I have such a hard time finding good advice for secondaries. I love tanks, but Ive steered away from axe, for fear of the slow attack rate. This makes me reconsider.
  11. It sounds really fantastic. I can only assume the developers will be sure to make the lower level content available to higher level heroes with the Ouboros system. . . which I don't think I spelled correctly.
