The bruiser froze, or, more accurately, stopped moving while being the opposite of frozen.
Burnzen? I dunno.
Anyway, he started roaring, as if like a creature, and ripped a rock from the ground, and threw it at Anubis, while his skin burned slowly.
"Fire with fire!" a voice yelled, and the car behind the bruiser began pushing forward slowly, before the Pyro-lover kicked the back. Apparently, he had broken the hand brake. It rolled toward Anubis of the Judged, the gas panel open.
Inside, a flame began ascending a moist towel, covered in gasoline.
Meanwhile, Blood Gunner Leader ((That is his in-game name as well, oddly enough,)) fired once again, this time with only his right pistol.
However, he then reached into his pocket, and pulled two balls of green chemicals from it. He threw one each at his two allies, increasing their strength and accuracy for a while what with the chemical reaction within the drug-laden things. -

((Thank you.))
The second H'tead struck a battle drone, it circled its arms around him, and began firing jets all the way downward to keep him still, and to avoid being thrown into the air with the telekinetic power.
Following that, two more drones blasted into the air, and fired pure bursts of energy at Doanri. -
...
I would laugh my [censored] off.
You know why?
'Cause it would seriously be funny to think about. Imagine this, if you will...
Experiment walks down Atlas Park streetways, waving to passers-by. They talk quietly about how heroes waste tax-payer dollars by just strolling down the street. Then, a Rikti Mothership appears. Experiment looks up dramatically, and frowns.
Suddenly, he spots a good alley to make a dramatic exit from. He untoggles walk and-- No, wait, a big 'Target Unavailable' just floated over his head.
Wow... Those death-rays REALLY live up to their name. -
((You could have just asked John Ballard on the 100th floor.
I mean, he DOES work there.))
Experiment 2.0: "When I was about... Fourteen? I had the biggest crush on a girl. Of course, this was when I was very interested in my upcoming humor-glands. It is an actual glands, y'know. Anyway, you wanna know my pickup line? 'Hey Kelly, I see your playing cards. Y'wanna fold with me?'"
*Awkward silence.*
"...Yeah, I kind of got beaten to hell that day... Who knew that you could go all ninja-like with playing cards?"
Blind Messenger: "...I can't see. Seriously, what do you want from me?"
Jenny Ballard/Void Bird: "...Don't tell John, but I programmed PDA's personality... Hehe... I love that thing."
Earth Titania: "I know you people can't really tell, but me and John are british. We usually hide our accents though... However... It DOES help with girls..."
Experiment: "Speak for yourself..." -
Shimmer growled slightly, hitting a few more buttons. "Nyah nyah 'automated defenses' nyah. Seriously, do you ever stop whining? Jeez."
The floor, made of panels it seemed, slid away at every other square, revealing gattling guns, energy turrets, and beam weaponry. They all swivelled to the closest enemy, and began charging. The gattling guns began spinning the chamber, while the energy weapons began priming the cannon for fire.
"Seriously, I was hoping not to use these." Shimmer muttered, covering his ears with his hands. -
Main Hero: Experiment 2.0
1) A supervillain you just defeated was using a device which grants immortality. It is wide open for you to grab. However, if you do take it, then a trap goes off, killing several hostages. However, the trap can be destroyed and the hostages freed simply by destroying the device.
B. Destroy the device. Experiment is a true-to-earth hero. He would NEVER put his life before a civilian's. Plus, living forever would suck.
You can only beat the Snake high score so many times before it gets tedious.
2) You have just discovered that Statesman has murdered an ordinary and innocent civilian in cold blood. (Yes, I know. Can't happen. Just bear with me.) You could report him immediately, but there's the chance nobody would believe you, and even if they did, they would be too scared of Statesman, or admire him too much to do anything about it. Or, you don't need to report it, but who knows what else Statesman has done like this before, and who says he can't do it again?
C) Confront him. Honestly, if he really wants to commit a crime, he can be dealt with the way heroes always deal with criminals. Even if he doesn't win, Experiment would fight damned hard, and, since he is smart, no matter how much his humor seems to hide it, he would figure out the best way to keep Statesman down, other than trying to beat him.
After all, super invincibility, mixed with god-like power, mixed with really, really, REALLY strong fists? Big no-no in the face-first fighting department.
3) You have just thwarted a supervillains chance at destroying the world. However, he has another doomsday device he can use at any time, and he's about to escape. However, he has just activated a trap which will kill a large number of innocent civilians if you choose to try and catch him. However, if you save the civies, he will escape to his second doomsday device.
B) Save the civilians. Again, the citizens come first. Experiment is an honour-bound hero, and intends to keep the title. He will not let the 'just a life' mentality take control. Once it does, it then turns into 'Just a few lives,' then 'just a few hundred lives,' then, 'just a planet.'
At least, in his mind, if he loses the mentality that every life is precious, he will lose his heroism.
Oh, look, Experiment has a soul!
4) A well known supervillain has just gotten out of jail on paroll. He walks right into a public space, and starts boasting about how he is going to kill a bunch of people tomorrow, however, he doesn't tell you when or where he will be commiting these killings, and there is no way to find out. However, you can't go ahead and attack him, as he technically hasn't done anything wrong yet, and attacking him will just label you as a villain yourself, and you'll probably get sued by the villain's 15 zillion lawyers. Another complication is thrown in when he says he WON'T kill anyone only if you willingly submit to his power-o-transfero ray, sapping you of all your powers forever.
A) Attack him head on right away. If he is a well-known super villain, they are well known for SOMETHING. Most likely going through with their threats. Experiment would never give him the chance to go through with it.
Plus, he is a well-known HERO. Nobody would suspect he would attack someone for no reason. Nor would they have reason to. He is nothing if not trustworthy, and he intends to keep the city safe, no matter what may happen to him in the long run.
Main Villain: Blind Messenger
Another villain you considering your ally just converted to a hero, and his first mission is to take you out. He finds you in your lair, and immediately attacks. You try talking to him, but he won't listen no matter what you say. Finnally, you barricade yourself in one room or another, but he's about to bust in...
A) Kill him for his stupidity.
Although, honestly, I don't really see one of Blind's allies betraying him... I mean, he doesn't exactly TRUST anyone, and the only people he has ever truly teamed up with are Experiment 3.0 and Dr. Shimmer...
...Although... That 3.0 IS fiesty... But then, he is the pure incarnation of 2.0's evil, so he WOULDN'T go good...
...Maybe Blind just forgot to feed him his Kibbles 'n' Bits?
2) You're strolling down Paragon city, when a particularly brave and stupid civi goes and steals the source of your powers. (I'll leave HOW up to you, he manages it somehow, that's all.) You still have some power left, but it is draining away rapidly. You corner the civi, but then you realize that the entire Freedom Phalanx is standing right around the corner. If you attack the civi, they will most likely hear you and most definately attack you.
I have to go with a D) here. Blind would do none of those. He would cause the civilian to be stuck in place due to darkness, rip the item away from him, and run, releasing the civilian as he went.
He doesn't like hurting innocents unless he gets pissed.
3) The entire Freedom Phalanx is attacking you. However, you have a special power that can kill them all in one hit, the downside being you also die, and you can't be rezzed, but the Freedom Phalanx will still be rezzable. However, you are in Arachnos territory with spider stompers everywhere, who could easily capture the entire downed Phalanx in one swoop and make sure they are never a thorn in any villain's side again.
C) Get beaten up, while staying good with the ol' Spider faction. Seriously, death? He already died once. Not a pleasent experience. And Arachnos? They have Ghost Widow. She knows how to kill dead people.
Yeah... NOT a good idea to be on either side of the coin, there. So, just go the ol' fashioned way.
The bloody, painful, torturous ol' fashioned way.
4) An undercover Longbow Agent lets the cat out of the bag by accident while trying to lead you into an ambush, and the stupid fool hasn't even realized it yet!
C) Run away! Blind is nothing if not vulnerable, especially to Longbow. Although, they think it is because of their heroic might?
Nope.
Their suits are VERY shiny.
Blind loses power depending on how much light enters his skeletal form.
He no like shiny peoplez. -
Experiment stretched his shoulder slightly, having SWORN he heard something crack... However, when Burning called over, Experiment resumed grinning broadly.
"Why, yes, it CAN heal... But, y'know, you didn't want me here in the first place, so..."
He twirled the device in his hands, smirking. "Ever heard the phrase, 'don't piss off the healer?' Yeah, I live by it, so... You just, keep pickin' those thorns out... Maybe you'll be lucky, and one of them WON'T carry some alien virus!"
Then, of course, came the snickering. -
Experiment landed, a face of annoying across his features. "Great job. I'm serious. You wouldn't think punching a tyrannosaurus rex in the mouth, while missiles, spikes, lasers, and exploding arrows head toward it would help, but there it is."
He removed a green handheld device from his belt, and aimed it at the hero's right arm. "Hold still."
A jet of green energy expelled from the device, reknitting muscles, tendons, tissue, and skin together, as well as the gas left from the beam strengthening the mind of the ally slightly. -
((Is it sad that I spent, like, five minutes congratulating myself on correctly spelling Tyrannosaurus Rex?
Seriously.)) -
A rock bounced along the ground near Burning, and Experiment uttered a low 'drat.' before activating the jets on his boots. He rose into the air.
Or, more accurately, he blasted into the air as elegantly as a wasp.
That just got hit with insect repellant. He hit a branch, and lowered himself, holding his head. He shook it, sending leaves everywhere, and his hair in his face once again, which he blew out of the way, and then darted toward the tyrannosaurus rex, spines extracted from his right arm entirely.
He then pulled said arm back, and the spines shot forward, all tipped with a neurotoxin that was similar to a sedative, and all in a straight line of spikey doom. -
"Good thing, too!" Experiment replied to Burning, smiling even wider than before.
It was a wonder his mouth hadn't ripped in half yet.
"'Cause I wasn't gonna help. Seriously, crazy women equals a no-no from me. Hell, Countess Crey? Fought her once... Believe me, you do NOT want to be on the recieving end of a roundhouse kick from her... Ouchies..."
He then brought his right arm up, and began tapping randomly. Small *BEEP*s could be heard every few seconds. If anyone looked, they would find he was playing Snake, and seemed to be attempting to beat a high score of about 20,002.
"...This is what I get for being bored on a saturday..." he muttered, staring at the screen intently. -
((Ack! Sorry, I missed that.))
Shimmer's axe brought itself up after the bursts of energy due to recoil, and the control panel cut in half due to the reverberating energy... Thing... And the axe-blade.
Shimmer growled deeply yet again as his blasts began circling the others. "Hold on, brb."
He turned, and hit a button on his computer. Nothing seemed to happen, though.
Well, unless Aoleleb ((...So hard to spell, btw.)) reached for anything else inside the base walls, that is.

((Double ack!))
Experiment chuckled once again, while keeping a cautious eye on the femme fatale. However, when Hazard spoke, a huge grin seemed to appear on his face.
"You probably deserved this, for whatever reason."
He stood silent for a moment, and sighed, his hair flowing out of his eyes in the air he exhaled. "Wow, that one sucked..." -
As odd as it seems, I really have no idea how we got onto this new topic. I guess I have to read back through.
But, if we're getting back on topic (mostly because I can't think of any more stereotypes), I really want walking.
...NOW I remember!
However, I sometimes just REALLY need my villains to walk. Actually, Experiment walking would be equally awesome. I can imagine him slowly walking toward the Rikti Mothership in that... One... Zone...
I don't have any heroes above 30, cut me some slack.
But yeah, some dramatic tension would be quelled by walking...
...Or added. One of them. -
((...Diagram?
BWAHAHAHA!!!
Oh dear lord... No, I have no idea how anyone would be able to plan out their bases that well... My description of my base?
Tons of holes
Stairs
Rooms
Generator room
Manufacturing room
And whatever else suits the RP.)) -
"Because," the Gunner called back as he loaded another magazine into his pistols, "I'm bored. Plus, the rest of my gang was obliterated by heroes. Me no like heroes, you apparently no like heroes. Get it now?"
With that, he took aim at the android again, and smirked. "...Won't miss this time..." he growled quietly, closing one eye for easier aiming. -
((Well, a succubus is a female spirit/demon that enters a males dreams, usually sexual, and takes control, or kills him, or whatever, depending on where you read up on it.
<.<
I know this because I played Matrix Online, and decided to read up on the Succubi that kept kicking me in the face.))
Shimmer's eyes grew wide, and he held his head in pain. He glared upward, and growled deeply. "Alright, 'friend.' I believe that you have lived long enough..."
He reached back with his left hand, and picked up a red and black axe, similar to the one from earlier. He took aim at Daonri, and fired multiple bursts of energy at the annoying interloper. -
((Yeah...
...But Shimmer has a very obvious, and easy to get, weakness. In fact, it is usually so obvious, people never get it.)) -
The control panel hit the shining man head-on, sending him backward heavily. He smashed into the wall behind him, hands still up in a defensive pose. He coughed, and began dusting himself off.
"Well now, that was NOT very nice..."
((Note; Shimmer is RESISTANT to physical attacks. I mean, he is eventually gonna get broken apart, but his skin is coated, if not entirely made of, a very durable metal alloy. Hell, even being choked won't work very well, as Noitpeced found out in City of Zombies.
However, he DOES have a mind, and he DOES still feel pain. Either hit him a hell of a lot, or...
...Well, do something not-physical to him. It really isn't hard to find his weakness if you think about what he is made of for a while.)) -
A bullet flew by the android, hitting the curb with a loud *PING!*
"...Hm. I was SURE that would hit." the Blood Gunner Leader muttered, scratching his head. He shrugged, and took aim with both pistols yet again. "Now then, how 'bout you back off the kid, and I don't have to sever your head from your body, huh?" -
Shimmer frowned, and blew some grey hair from his eyes.
"Try not to destroy my WHOLE base..." he muttered, taking aim with the pistol once again, "Besides, it takes TIME to manufacture robots... It isn't like they just exist... They take resources and... Well, okay, they are coming up now..."
He glanced at his view-screen, and smiled. "...And it looks like they're chasing even MORE intruders!" -
((Hehehe...
...Actually, this gives me an idea...))
After the heroes passed by the 'cleaning drones,' each turned toward the door they entered which had led toward the area H'tead and the others were.
Several more 'cleaning drones' began flying out of the walls, and shifting shapes into larger, more 'boomy-boomy' robots, such as battle drones.
However, one significantly larger drone switched into a massive Assault Drone, equipped with missiles, a cannon arm, and what seemed to be a rail weapon on the right arm.
The robots smashed toward the heroes, lasers, missiles, and beams of energy from the rail gun preceeding them.
Shimmer meanwhile, unholstered a pistol from his belt, firing with tremendous speed toward the intruder who was attacking H'tead, and frowned. "Now now, breaking and entering? That isn't very nice."
((Again, I say-- Hehehe...)) -
Heh, I got the whole Assassin outfit, and went around to stores at night, stealing everything valuable.
Then, in the morning, I would go back to every store I stole from, and sell the things I stole, just for the irony of it.
Of course, every once in a while, a Red Guard would find me and beat the hell out of me.
...Before the Sword of Aeons, that is. Then, they fell just like everyone else.
Hehehe... *Evil cackle.*
*Ahem.* Sorry, what were we talking about? -
I meant for OTHER people.
Hell, for Evil, you turn into a god.
...>.>
Plus, kicking a chicken half a mile is fun as hell. -
Though, then the two sides of leader come into play again.
If the leader is all good, he will give said relic to a previously minor character, most usually some young, handsome man, who is trustworthy, and intelligent.
If the leader is kinda bad, he will keep the relic, but will lead the country/nation in a GOOD way.
Unless you're playing, like Fable or something. Then everything goes to hell when you're evil. -
Also! At the end of the battle, the mentor must return to his first state, gasping in his breath. The hero must slowly walk toward him, and look down on his damaged body. The mentor must then beg for forgiveness, and the hero looks away, seemingly thinking about it.
If the hero is all good, he will shake his head, and walk away from the man, either to let him face his death due to a creature he had released earlier, or from blood loss.
If the hero has a bad side, he will close his eyes as he looks away, before grinning evily, and firing a shot/stabbing the mentor.
