Are we sure I20 is hitting this week?

I'm thinking about doing the Recharge one (Spiritual) for my Ill/Emp, so that I can have Phantom Army out more often. I just don't like the idea of part of the Tier 3 being wasted, since the character has nothing that the Disorient bonus would fit into. The Heal would be natural, considering she's Emp. The ToHit Buff would apply to her Fortitude power.

For my Sonic/Sonic Corruptor, I'll probably end up going with Cardiac (End, Res, and Range)

The ones I'm kind of at a loss for are my Fire/Kin Controller, Plant/Thorns Dom, Storm/Elec Def, and Ice/Ice Def.

I'm leaning towards Spiritual for the Fire/Kin. And Musculature for both Defenders since they have a decent amount of Debuffs. Although the Ice/Ice could possibly benefit from Nerve for teaming since it has DefBuffs. The Plants/Thorns however, I have no idea.

Out of curiosity, which Alpha slot ability would you all recommend for a Fire/Kin 'troller?

So after coming back to the game, and wrapping my head around what it takes to get the Alpha slot abilities, I find myself torn as to exactly which type of ability to slot into most of my characters. Nerve (Acc, Hold, DefBuff) was the obvious choice for my Grav/FF controller, but I'm kind of at a loss for what to use for other characters, even other controllers.

How did all of you go about deciding which Alpha ability to slot in?

Now that the option is available to 'go rogue' and get Patron power pools, how does everyone feel about about those various pools in regard to this sort of power combination?

Can their size be changed so that they're not quite so big? To make it easier for us to put more of them on our screen?

Ah, another example of people having gotten used to how much Cryptic spoils us with some things. $9.99 is cheap compared to what other MMOs charge for a similar service....

What I'm curious about is whether or not they'll be freeing up old unused names again to coincide with the Rename functionality.

I'd normally agree, however they new powersets have been in development for much longer than the recent Polls. Remember, the polls only asked about Scrappers. Not the other ATs. Also, when CoV came out, when Cryptic was planning on another paid expansion, they were planning to have a new primary and secondary powerset for every AT. However, when they cancelled the expansion, they said they would include what they had planned for it over the coming issues. In the PM I received, it was mentioned that they were evaluating the suggestions partially based on which powersets would be easiest to do graphically. The poll almost felt like they were looking for suggestions when their original ideas for new Scrapper powersets didn't pan out. However, they still want to get new ones out to the rest of us with all the others. I'm keeping my hopes up that we'll see new ones in I11.
