I find PvP gave TP a new life...
impossible to guess where the guy will be even if you know the direction...
access to all heights and WAY faster than the only competitior that could challenge it in heights... flight... -
Maybe you know more than I do...
this says that stealth cap at 30 is 1003.0 and the perception cap is 1013.0...
So even in your example... the range would be 1013.0-890=123... well within 2 slotted TP... no? (no not an expert so I could be wrong)
Hide+Stealth = ( -500 + -390) -890 Per
Ok question... does group invisibility stack with hide and stealth?(-575 per for a total of -1465, over the cap and over 1280 (500+780per))
Obviously there's the cap... and the difference between both is 10 feet... -

So... why not use stealth with hide and TP in from above?
You can TP from way more than 75 yards...
And Stealth with Hide gets you to your stealth cap...
Also... Aim isnt a good defense for stealth...
it's a 10 seconds glimpse. -
Saying that the you can't talk about the tools of the trade without talking about Placate basically...
Ok let's have that scenario...
2 skilled "blappers"
1 skilled defender
1 skilled stalker
personally with my stalker I would
1- Raise all defenses (I play an SR stalker)
2- (alternatively but not necessary)pop a couple of rage and insights
3- approach one of the "blappers"
4- buildup
5- activate AS
6- target the second "blapper" while AS is preparing to hit
7- chain AS with Placate to the second "blapper"...
8- chain phase shift to placate as AS hits...
9- hit TP straight up... (best defense as flight can't catch up and SS/SJ can't go there.)
What would the skilled trio do to defeat me? -

I disagree with that.
I also disagree to the post you reply to with the buildup AS hide and stealth...
Expend that to TP as travel power, Hide, Buildup, AS, Stealth, Phase Shift, 1or2 Insight, 2-3 Rage and Placate. (Obviously... the kicker for TP is TPfoe)
I've seen solo stalkers attack huge groups relentlessly and take out target one by one. I'm not discounting their skill in doing it... but there simply isnt much that can be done by that 3 man group you describe.
Now ad 2 tankers and a scrapper to that 3 man group to bring it to 6...
You'll get the same results. Meat paddles are not gonna prevent running away.
Not only is leadership a powerpool which is not very much used in PvE... It's less effective for certain ATs than others... the precise ATs that would benificiate the most of it are the rarest in PvP. -

They call that the placebo effect.
Most of the AS's damage goes unresisted... it's untyped.
or is it "critical type"?
Anyways... you can only defend against it... not resist it... so if you're an SR scrapper... you're in luck.
If you're an Invulerability tanker... not so much now. -

I really hope that if THAT is electric melee... that they revise it and make it either Blue, White or Yellow.
Electricity isnt red...
Otherwise that lighting from the sky thing is cool(just not in red)

at 00:58 into the video... there's a guy with a with the dreads and a grey shirt... with a pistol... now he could be a mob or a henchman... but then there's this other guy in green with a cowboy hat and he also seems to have a pistol... and he does look like a normal player... -
Well I know for a fact I never fought a single gladiator match with any alts but I have it on my peacebringer.

My Peacebringer got the "Kaolin Legacy of Earth" badge doing that mission... (he also got the badges he was supposed to get)
I thought it was a villain badge...
None of my other Alts got that badge.
Also... he has a "Lanista" badge but I never even once fought a gladiator battle. -
Way to go Devs! Very cool surprise! Fits some of my characters perfectly!

He does mention something about water... when talking about power combos the first example of an "Oil slick/Any Fire" type of combo that came to him was a pool of water and electricity.
Personally I'd like to see Storm Control for controllers... this way controllers would have atleast 1 matching Primary and Secondary... you could hold mobs in mini debuffing tornadoes of wind... immobilize them "levitate" style in an "updraft"... if you can raise the O2 in Storm Summoning... you could definatly lower it and "asfixiate" mobs... summon more tornadoes to do your work...
Would be nice if Storm Summoning was the "outdoors" specialist... getting stronger than normal powers but only usable outdoors... just like the EQ druid... lightning from the sky, heavy rain on LARGE areas, Cloud formations...
And water could fit in there...
A Solarpowered fire/energy damage based powerset could also be an outdoors specialist... but I think I;m going off course... maybe it's for another thread
He mentioned possible wall climbing somewhere way down the road... would be cool... I'm hoping some "running on all 4" comes along too... that wouldnt require remaking all animations for powers (unlike wall climbing)... when attacking the guy would stand straight...

Transparant door dont allow you to see objects on the other side... just totally empty rooms with no mobs, no details...
looks like a bug anyways... especially since it depends on where you stand... sometimes you catch a glimpse... I hope that's not on purpose... I'd hate to think that where time is spent -
Very cool set
Love the Oil Slick Arrow being able to combine with fire... such as from the Blazing Arrow from Archery
The glue arrow graphics are.... not very glue looking... particles constantly emanating from mobs didnt make it look like glue to me.
Though I imagine it would be difficult to find something to graphicall represent glue... very efficient power though
It seems that after jumping or in jump... you get to fire an arrow even if you do not have a target... the guy just goes into the animation and fires... only works once... -
I would standardize the sounds ... "voices" a little more...
the first power sounds like it's coming out of a gun... not very vocal... and the growling kinda forces a theme on you -
The "Blood" aspects makes it sound like some heriditary thing... like a lineage heritage... maybe it has to do with CoT stories and Mu and all that magic stuff.
Could be an EAT of magic origin...
Maybe you get to do heroes like Zatanna, Doctor Fate, Doctor Strange, Mysterio

Honestly that just sounds like a bad idea unless you implement an auction/trading board of some sort... otherwise you'd just get people sitting infront of Luminary screaming their hearts out for a "Polly Cooper ... LF Polly Cooper... trading 2:1 on Polly Cooper enhancements"...
It brings back enhancements into an item sort of role... like loot... -
Was thinking about it the other day and I'd love to see a "magic control" controller primary or a "spell casting" defender primary...
Some will say magic is an origin for powers, not a description/theme for powers. I know... but bare with me for a sec.
We're talking about a sort of mixed bag of "magical" effects... with a more traditional Houdini/Zatanna type of effects...
Powers could be things like:
-Grow [friendly]
-Shrink [self/friendly] (working much like invisibility)
-Transmorgrify (Turn an ennemy into an innofensive animal)
-Disappear [self] (much like personal force field)
-Flock of doves [ennemy] (works a little like Gale, less-KB plus-immobilize)
-Disguise [ennemy/friendly?] take appearance of selected foe (and friendly?)
-Animate Dead. A fallen comrad is brough back to life, but as a pet... the pet may perform all his powers.. lasts 2 minutes (authorisation is required, much like rez) -
