edit - I had my reasons in there but then decided this isn't the place for them.

I currently have an XT5000T sitting on the table across from me that overheated from running firefox, windows mail and excel all day everyday. I couldn't get anyone to even look at it for less than what it would cost me to buy a new one.

I tried using it to play COx a few times and it would get so hot you could not keep your hand on the keyboard (the GPU was right under my left hand). I had this on a nice CoolerMaster cooler AND I tried a really good ThermalTake cooler as well. NOTHING cooled this down while trying to game. This particular laptop had a dual core amd proc and a 7600go gpu. It also had space for a second hard drive which I put to use then removed the HD after feeling it get hotter. I took it apart many times and cleaned it really well. It just didn't have a strong enough fan to pull air out and the air inlets are pretty much non existant.

I don't know how different yours is than mine but good luck getting it cool enough to play this game. I currently have an ASUS that without the laptop cooler gets pretty hot but because of vent locations the cooler helps tremendously.

Has anyone hit on what if Recluse became the patriotic hero and statesmen became the villain? I know Praetorian Statesman in the current deminsion is technically a villain but you know what I mean....

So then next question... Has this been tried in a hami raid? Or is it just because of the lowered power level of hami for the tf that makes this possible?

I've only been on a couple Hami raids and to be honest with my lag I felt like a bystander most of the time....

Also if it took you 12+ hours to download that seems to me like you are on a slow connection. I too recently bought a new computer after my comp crashed. I thought I had a back up and unfortunately I didn't. So I downloaded and it took less than 2 hours. That was at work while we were also uploading large files to an FTP site on a shared wireless connection.

I am thinking this is more the exception than the rule, otherwise we'd see many more rants.

So what kind of connection do you have? Are you on a wireless modem? Do you share that modem with others? Does it have a firewall that could have thrown up a red flag in the middle? Tell us a little about your new comp... These are things the gurus here could use to help narrow down the problem, if that's what you really are looking for.

Anyway I've never played the market. I sell drops there but never pay attention to the crafted vs non crafted values. I think I'll do this more now.

I'm actually a billionaire on one toon but honestly it was from playing and selling drops. He has decent sets on him but not one single purple (though I have two waiting for some mates). So basically until recently I've sold them all, which weren't many. He technically could be a farmer since he's spines/dark, but I've not really played him that way. I never played AE much and none at all with this toon but it sounds like I could play him on lunch breaks at work and possibly get another billion or so with minimum effort.

I've read Fulmens and Nethergoats guides before but I honestly have the patience of a gnat. But this for some reason really showed me it can be done even by a super casual gamer like me. Yes I'm casual, I play mostly on weekends and the occasional night here or there. I'm also an altaholic which makes earning money for me harder because I don't have a good enough memory or discipline to check my markets on my many many toons.

It's funny because I was thinking along similar lines as the questioning folks. I beleive TA received like 71 entries. Of basically free art. He's giving out prizes but only to a very few. So in the end why wouldn't/couldn't a budding collector just throw a contest and bam for minimal costs/effort he receives bunches of art, and in the end he "pays" for the ones he likes.

I think artists would get pretty bored with that if it started happening often. I know DA is a huge place though and there may be enough artists that would just like to get their names out there. It could help spring board some commissions for them as well. It could also help new artists have the courage to show their art. Or like my son, give him a chance to focus on a subject and see what others do with that same subject.

So it's one of those situations where it could totally be useful but could also become abused pretty easily. Good luck either way Caem!

Okay I just looked through this thread and WOW!!!! My head is going to explode with all the awesomeness! I have to say though #36...the details are breath taking. All that reflection and it looks relevant not like he/she threw some random reflections in. The only thing with it is I think there should be a light fall-off from upper left to bottom right because of the lighting from the staff... but still WOW!!!!

What would cause netgraph spikes on the red sie only? My friends and I switched to redside and everyone noticed lag. So I opened up my netgraph and my fps and my fps is staying at 60+ but netgraph shows an occasional yellow spike. When the spike shows I've noticed that my powers are not going off as I click them.

Anyone have any ideas? It's only on red side though, not blue. We are on Justice for blue side and Infinity for red, if that makes a difference. Also we are all over the country, some in WA, TX, CO and AR. Oh and I'm on a brand new system with basically only COh installed - i7 860, gtx 275, 8gb ram, hardwired to the modem not wireless... though it is a wireless gateway for the rest of the house.
