I've had four door issues now. I'm starting to wonder if new mission maps went live before they were tested.
In the mission given by Transmuter where your Powers Division squad gets ambushed by Reese, the door leading to the roof (and Reese) was blocked by some kind of piece of machinery. No way to get through. Needed a GM to help.
In the mission Steal Data from Neuron's Lab given to me by Dr. Hetzfeld, the server I needed to hack was behind a door that was locked (red bar down the middle) overlaying an open, unlocked door (with the blue bar and outline of the open door just peeking out of the locked door). I have a screenshot of this issue, which I took because the next two door issues are exactly the same.
The third mission with this issue is Get Aaron Walker's Medication given by Aaron Walker. The crate was hidden behind a locked door overlaying an open, unlocked door.
The fourth (and so far, the last) mission with a door issue is the one I just did, Investigate disturbance in Anti-Matter's lab, given by Anti-Matter. I had to ask the GM to wait, because in this mission, I needed to go through a locked door overlayed by an open, unlocked door to talk to Dark Watcher, then go back through the locked/open unlocked door to fight the Longbow ambushes.
I want to thank the four GMs, so far, who have helped me. GMs Brandon, Kalin, Sven, and the patient Zephyr who had to wait for me to parlay with Dark Watcher to phase me through the same door twice.
Devs, I hope you see this thread and take note that your NPCs need to remodel their bases again.I'd be more than happy to email you the screenshot I took if you needed it, but I'm sure you already know what I mean when I talk about a locked door overlaying an open, unlocked door.
I'm also glad to see I'm not the only person having problems navigating some of these tricky doors! -
Quote:I see. So your argument against fixing it is, "That's the way it's always been, so there's no point in fixing it?" Just because it's been broken up until now doesn't mean it wouldn't be a good idea not to fix it.Then you really aren't going to like katana either if the powers not being the same way as the others really gets your panties in a bunch. It has been this way since the powers were introduced. It is not that I don't care, it is the way the devs want it. And where the powers sit in the list is not indicative of how powerful they are.
I bet the next thing you will come here with will be, "Why is taunt so far up the list? It doesnt do any damage at all."
And no, taunting me isn't a good reason not to fix the powerset. Your last line is uncivil and uncalled for. -
Quote:Again, I understand that you personally don't mind. That's not my point.Trust me, this is not a bug. This is wai. And how is it incongruent? You are able to pick one power or the other when you create a toon. Does it really bother you that much that the 2 powers are in different places? It's like if a jar of peanut butter and a jar of jelly are next to each other and someone put them so it was jelly and peanut butter instead of peanut butter and jelly.
Every other power set has the least powerful power first and the next powerful power second. Broadsword does not. That is incongruent. Further, the icon for the second least powerful power is the icon for the least powerful power in the Broadsword set, and vice versa. That is also incongruent. -
Quote:Things can go wrong when people pick powers without reading the description at all.Quote:And if you made a mistake picking you should notice either when you zone in from creating the toon or after the first levels of game play. You can then re-roll the toon and be back to level 2,3,4,5 within a few mins.
The point I'm trying to make is that the Broadsword power is incongruent in a way that none of the other powersets are, and while there's a chance this was intentional, I highly suspect this to be a bug and wanted to draw the dev's attention to it. -
Well, yes, everyone gets to pick from the first two powers of any primary set. I know that some players will pick the first one because it is fast, and some will pick the second because it does more damage, but if they're reversed, then people end up picking the wrong one.

Hello!
Something I've noticed is that the first two powers in the Broadsword set are out of order and have been since I started playing.
In every other powerset, the weakest power is first, and second weakest is second, etc.
In broadsword, the weakest power, Slash, is second and the second weakest power, Hack, is first. This is the only powerset I've seen that has this shuffled power. Even the icon for Slash suggests it;s a bigger power than Hack, which it isn't. It's very strange.
I can't tell if this a bug or intentional. For consistency, I'd suggest the two abilities swapping places in the powerset. What do you folks think? -
If you've seen my whopping 2 other posts on this subject, you know what I'm about to say...
JETPACKS!
Need 'em as a back detail, incompatible with capes and wings, can be crafted like rocket boots.
As we used to say in the first grade when persuading someone: I'll be your best friend! -

Quote:Or move the jewel lower? I'd like to see them match up, too.
It really seems like these 2 should fit together, and they almost do. The aura is just a hair off... and if it could get moved so that it's in the center of the Jewel chest piece, I'd really appreciate it. =) -
Reptilian face issue with detail 2!
Hey Jay. I was going to make a character using the Reptilian face (even though he has no mouth, which might or might not be a bug all by itself?) because unlike the Viper face, it actually takes scale colors.
One of the things I was experimenting with is adding the detail 2 face covers (such as warrior half, warrior full, reaper, etc) to compensate for his lack of a mouth, but when I do that, it reveals a completely separate bug: the combination of that face plus a facial covering results in parts of the facial covering becoming see-through. Usually it's either the lower-left part of the covering (just under the chin) or it'll be he tops of his cheeks poking though the fabric.
That's the only costume bug I can think of that's an actual bug. There's always "almost all the shoulder pieces" vs the "terra robe's pointy shoulders" issue, but I'm sure you've heard that one before. -
Hello Intrinsic.
I appreciate that you want to keep all to one side. I'm not sure why the XP for loyalists is lower than for resistance. The only advice I can really offer you is that doing some resistance missions won't really affect your play. Both factions have a storyline that isn't exclusive to themselves.
I believe you can go talk to Aaron Walker and he'll appreciate the assistance without making you leave the Loyalists (not to mention being able to report some Resistance behavior to Provost Marchand).
