Your build really doesn't have a focus. A thin, even coating of defense doesn't do much, there's a good guide to it in the Guide to Guides in the Player Guides.
Katana and BS are nearly identical. So I'll post my as-built for my gal. She uses Divine Avalanche [Parry] for her Melee and Lethal, and for exotics [Fire, Cold, Energy, Negative] she builds defense. A secondary focus on recharge too. And for important powers like DA, I'll frankenslot. I need the numbers to make the power as good as possible, it's a higher priority than a global.
Odd levels for the enh is because it's an as-built and I see no reason to change a lev 42 to a 50.

I made one I really like, a SD/BA troll looking guy with, finally in CoH, my namesake, Postagulous. I think he's up to 8 after two sewer runs. I plan on being there Tuesday.
-
-
Quote:I can say the same. Just consider me an alt. I'll be there if you need me. I'd rather miss it than have someone else feel slighted if we have nine or ten show.If you only have a few extras and only want to run one team this week, please feel free to bump me off the list for the week.
[Also, I ran Citadel on Tuesday.] -
There are 9 billion threads on this. Consensus seems to be that being able to choose your bullets changes things a pretty good deal. And no, it's not a turd.
-
I used to do TT on Champion, but in normal team play I'm not good at keeping up with where the team aggro is so I gave up on the AT. The team responsibility, I just fail at it.
If I can get a good idea of what the "with training wheels" tank is, I might delete one of my many scrapper alts and roll a tank. Though concept, and more importantly a good name, would have to be thought up.
How low is acceptable to show up? I know with the Frads anything is pretty good as 80% of all activity is fire cages and char.
When I did Posi with the Champion Tanks the first week it came out the lobby, which didn't leak it's mages et al out onto the "porch", ate our lunch over and over. We dissolved the dopplegangers, but getting to them was very difficult. Dropped toggles for the lose. -
I'm guessing it's very kb heavy?
-
Geez, you're going to be punting people around the earth. I hope this is for solo.
Build looks good, though why does everyone skip Torrent? On my [stalled in the 20s] energy^2 I find that is great mitigation and often what I lead with. -
-
Fire/somthing blaster. Also AR blaster, but I'm not fond of those. Electric melee, if I remember right.
One of the most impressive use of AoE was done by a Super Strength/Fire/Something Brute. The Something was able to do a AoE immob, he would drop Burn, Footstomp, maybe more as I don't know that AT well. Really brutal brute. -
I team exclusively. My chain, after someone has grabbed alpha, is shiver+BU+Aim+RoF+Fireball+breath+...uh, the 40 foot powerful one..+Fireblast+whatever's up.
Generally, I only solo a toon if I'm trying to get my cape or a customized weapon, as no one really wants to tag along for those. -
Yeah, while Willpower is the "set it and forget it"/"training wheels" secondary [which I love, btw], Inv is the "am I doing this right" and it all works out because you can't help but be at least half good at everything.
Some phrase like, "Something of all, Master of none." or something. -
No wonder I never get slept for long. I always cheapyslot the teir1s with Entropics for the global rech. I was doing something fairly smart when I just though I was being cheap.
-
Quote:I just want it gone. I was hitting the delete key. I'll try the sell thing.I'm assuming that the gun is a base decoration that you can't click directly and sell back. I had an item like that once.
Do this:
o Edit Base
o Go to the room the gun is in
o Click "Current Room" (lower left)
o Select the Gun on the bottom scroll list
o Click "Sell"
In a totally functional base with no decorations, [Until the things in front of the teleporters], the gun is just the most horrible thing ever and it was my doing. -
That damn gun is still there and I can't delete it.
-
I would gladly welcome an ill/FF to my team. It would be a tremendous help.
-
I just mean Cj's mitigation as far as immob protection. I never slot def, just Kismet +6, Winter -slow, and Steadfast -kb. If I got a LotG7.5, I guess I'd ditch the slow.
So, nothing at higher levels casts sleeps? -
Well, I'm not expert. Far from it. But...
Here's what I tried to throw together. I'm not sure about some of the choices I've made. And I was running out of slots due to the stuff I did like.

And this is my first 50, a MA/Inv. The Inv slotting is pretty odd by the standards I use now, but she's a very robust toon.

I'd like to try for the badge again with my scrapper, but I'd like there to be a person on the team who could tell me what to do when we're against the weakened hami. That thing cleaned our clock.
Depending on my calendar, I'd be in. 50 kat/wp. -
If we have two teams again, I'd suggest a casual, come-and-go Radio team, or similar non-TF team, and a TF team.
I keep thinking I still haven't run the second half of Posi, but it was that damn dam that made the whole High Visibility Suit thing come to being.
And besides TFs there are also Trials. I don't need the respec, but I do dig the respec trial.
What do you guys think? -
I've said and thought with the new Defiance we should take the first two powers for when we're slept or held.
Regarding Sleep, Health will get rid of half of the duration. And which enemies will try to sleep me beyond the 20s anyway? I think CoT and The Lost are the ones I recall sleeping me. [Though I mostly play scrappers who have a toggle against that.]
For Holds, since I am taking CJ and SJ on my primary blaster, if I take Acrobatics which protects me from Mag 2, which I'm not sure, but I recall most holds are Mag 1 from enemies, and if it's higher it still cuts the Hold time in half.
And while Immob wouldn't really mess with us so we could only use the first two, it is a mez mitigation so I thought I'd mention it. That's gone with CJ.
These mitigation tools are free or nearly free with the exception of Acro.
So...can I skip Flares and Fire Blast? Is that a bad idea? I never use them. -
I am now Mr. 151 unless it's just dumb salvage I'm nabbing, then I'm still a digit repeater.
-
Meanwhile, another CoH player...
[there is a very limited amount on non-cartoon happy computer users, so this dude is in an office...hmm] -
So, any NPC with a name beginning with M will give you that data?
-
Since i17 there will be missions where there are too many enemies, too high, or both sometimes. I dunno why. Sometimes more enemies than a normal mission in the ambushes alone as you're trying to get the NPC to the door.
It's irritating. Either take it very slow, pull, etc, or drop the mish. Though many people, even on plain ol' radio mishs will not want to drop it.
I run 0/8x on radio. I'd say 1/5 of the missions are freakout hard hard hard missions.
