Focused Acc isn't really worth the end cost anymore after they decreased to tohit buff on it. You can slot a Kismet +6 Acc IO (it's actually +tohit, not +acc) instead. Also, I can't take a closer look at your build since you didn't post a data link or chunk with the last one.

No need for Maneuvers, Concealment or any high end costing toggle at all. With a low end build I find a basic 2 stamina slots enough making conserve power a total waste of a pick to boot.

    That is for PvE purposes.
With Hasten's drain and a high amount of recharge, I find that Conserve Power helps alot. But then again, I haven't gotten around to putting a Miracle unique IO in my build yet.
  2. How's this then?

    MA/Shields?

I've leveled a MA/Shield to 50 and I have to admit I did have endurance issues along the way but it was nothing overwhelming. It's a very fun combo to play. I also like MA alot. I have 3 of them (Regen, SR, Shields), and I'm considering a 4th on a Stalker depending on whether or not the new AS animation will look cool.
  4. Looks solid, except you're over the set bonus cap on the 10% regen bonus and 7.5% rech LOTG IOs. You can check to see if you're over the cap on anything easily by clicking Window -> Sets & Bonuses.
  5. Hmm, if you're worried about inf cost then going with the Fighting pool would be much cheaper. Also, Zephyr -KB IOs are pretty expensive, the 6th bonus on PerfShifter is 3.13% AoE, exactly the amount the 3rd bonus in Zephyr gives.

Yeah you had stealth turned off and was at the soft cap so I assumed so. Unless you're keeping it for the full invis concept, you could do without it. I have a stealth IO in one of my prestige sprints but I don't even use it. I "stealth" with my softcapped defense. Everything shoots at me, sure, but it does the same job.

1% won't make much of a difference past 45%. About switching out CP for Hasten, it looks like you have enough recovery bonuses to do that.

Noticed Health isn't slotted fully in enhancement value for heal. You're missing out on 21% regen, and the Numina unique gives 20%.
  6. Here's my MA/SR's build if you want to take a look. I also went without the Fighting pool.

  7. Storm Kick is underslotted. It's one of the highest DPA attacks in all scrapper primaries and I also suggest fitting it in earlier in your build.

Flurry is possibly one of the worst attacks in the game. If you don't like the lack of punches in MA, that's being fixed with alternate animations in I16. Recommend you get rid of it.

Focus Chi, you need to get this. I don't know why I've been seeing so many scrappers skipping Build Up lately but it's great for burst damage.

Lastly, the Microfilament HO is wasted in Hurdle since it's an auto and doesn't use any endurance.

Otherwise, your defense looks solid and you've built up a pretty good amount of recharge bonuses. Hasten can definitely improve on that though.

Empowerment may be lousy but Blinding Feint certainly isn't. Frankenslot it for dmg/acc/rech and you can probably keep it constantly stacked for a 60% dmg and 20% tohit buff if you have Hasten running. But I understand that you may have trouble fitting it in since Tanker's are forced to take Nimble Slash, which I skipped on my Scrapper.
  9. I would hit 36 and get Sweeping Strike slotted for 3 dmg before making any decisions. If you aren't already, I suggest using Blinding Feint before starting the AV combo.

Getting better at positioning yourself for cones would definitely benefit you since DB has two pretty good ones.

As for the combos, I only kept Sweep and Attack Vitals. Weaken's debuff gets resisted pretty easily and Empowerment's buff wasn't worth the time it took.

The worst possible thing that I can think of as a non-melee focused squishy is having a newb shielder standing next to me with a taunt aura running thinking he's saving me by granting me 13% defense.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Good point. My Blasters' main defense is MOVEMENT. The last thing I want is some scrapper with a taunt aura chasing me around and yelling at me to stop so that they can give me an insignificant little buff.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Mids is incorrect, GC is just under 14% def to others at base (scrappers) and around 23% def to all slotted up. Thats serious mitigation no matter how you look at it and is far from insignificant. You can see how effective it is on the mission with all the freak tanks at the end, if the tanks (of the hero variety) ventured outside the radius of my GC their HPs started to fall at an alarming rate.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I can't believe nobody's noticed this. The value shown in Mid's is actually correct. The 20%ish value you're looking at (probably the in-game detailed info) is the amount of given defense debuff resistance. I went in-game to confirm. My shield scrapper who has GC 3 slotted for defense grants 13.28% defense to my teammates. I even asked someone to look in their combat attributes window.

    GC does indeed require buffing.
  11. Which totally sucks because the inherent ranged brawl attacks don't cause redraw and shuriken could use the same animation.
  12. [ QUOTE ]
Hmm..so do you think if I hold out on my MA scrapper till the mid-20s or so I'll start to like him after I get stamina and dragon's tail and stuff like that?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, chances are you'll like anything better once you have stamina. End may still be a problem once you get Eagles Claw in your attack chain, so slotting 1 end redux in each attack would be a good idea too.
  13. Know what would be great? If Cobra Strike got the same treatment Clobber from War mace did. Damage doesn't have to be Extreme like Clobber but hey, at least give us something.
  14. I've got 3 MA scrappers on Victory, two at 50, the other at 45. I like to think of the stylish animations as the secondary effect, not the soft controls. Eagles Claw is probably the best animation in the game. It's pretty fun tripping surrounding enemies with Dragons Tail too. Also, Storm Kick -> Practiced Brawler looks badass if you're MA/SR.

I dunno if you pvp but imo, MA is also the best primary in scrappers for pvp, assuming you take Web Grenade. The stuns are very useful. It suppresses any toggles your targets may have on, leaving them susceptible to full damage for a short while. Although you probably won't be able take advantage of this against other melee ATs with mez protection, it works great on those pesky squishy ATs that get resistance/defense toggles in their ancillary/patron pools. Most say Spines is the best pvp scrapper primary but from my experience, MA performs just as well if not better when it has web grenade for the immob/slow.
  15. When discussing Stalkers, AS always means the assassin move. Energy Melee's AS is the only one that's actually called Assassin's Strike.

Also, this guide was written in '06. Energy Drain has since then had a heal component added to it. For SO slotting, I recommend: 2 heal, 1 endmod, 3 recharge.
  16. Well, I planned out this build that has 80% global recharge with Storm Kick, Crane Kick, and Eagles Claw at 90% recharge and higher. I need 2 purple sets and 2 LoTGs to complete it though. Did you want to take a look at the build?

    What he said.

Seems to work fine for me so far. What changes would you suggest to make this for PvP over what appears to be PvE?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'd put more emphasis on the medicine pool. You need it in pvp if you're going to survive as an SR. Also, the AoE defensive powers can probably be rid of. I doubt many AoEs will be thrown at you in a PvP environment given their higher end costs, longer recharge, and lower damage.
  18. I'd like to know this too. I'm wondering if it's safe to drop Evasion and Lucky for my SR's pvp build.
  19. Some of the hero Faces have been removed from the costume creator menu.

I think the hero faces should be put back in the list of options cause you know.. they look more heroic.
