Which totally sucks because the inherent ranged brawl attacks don't cause redraw and shuriken could use the same animation.
yes but Brawl animation has had the absolute most animation time spent on it than any other power in the game to do things like that. Aslo look Here and you can see BAB talk about it.
If you read BAB saids that he would need to do it for everything, so that would be over 100+ new animation.

If you use Shuriken with say a Katana or Broadsword out..will it make you re-draw the weapon out after the Shuriken is thrown, or will it keep the weapon out?
