For those who are not local to the area (or those who are and need some help taking transit to help ameliorate the parking issue at the venue), http://511.org/ is a very very useful site. You put in where you're coming from and where you're headed (Dinah's Garden Hotel at 4261 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, CA for those who don't want to look it up) and it spits out a route.

Hey y'all,
Anyone coming out to the player summit next month and wanting to get together?
I'll be there, and if I know some other Protector players will be too, I'll bake cookies.
Like, totally delicious cookies.
Love,

I'll be there.
I lurked last year too, but with almost a third of my toons on Justice, that's probably kind of silly.
I'd be down for In-n-Out or Creamery, as timing suits. If we opt for the Stanford Creamery, they aren't as well set up for large groups as the downtown Palo Alto one is, so we'll likely want to warn them.
I live in the area, so I hereby volunteer myself as a carpool leader. My truck can hold three passengers, four if they're snuggly, so count me in as a driver. If @Figurehead decides to come along, that may get us four more snuggly passengers (or one fewer spot in my truck)

I'll be in attendance as well. Looking forward to it!
But, yeah, that lead time hurts because I have to give up a gig to attend. -
Quote:Yes, this.Or a TP power to the RWZ given to people who...do something, I dunno.
I've heard some amount of teeth gnashing about forming up in the D, but I have a flipping teleporter that takes me directly there.
It's great that folks are starting to use Midnighter's as something other than a route to the ITF, but it's just not as efficient as a handy dandy teleporter. -
Yes, please.
It is annoying as a leader to have to say "Folks 6, 7, 8, handle the adds" so everyone gets iXP, and it's annoying as a team member to not get iXP at all if the leader doesn't know this is how the system currently works.

Leagues have taken to forming up in co-op zones like Pocket D, the RWZ, or the Midnighter Club in order to get leagues of 16 or 24 going for the trials.
This has the potential to drive non-trial-seekers nuts, because we show up spamming broadcast or local and messing with the overall vibe of what might otherwise be going on in zone (RP, folks forming up zone TFs, or, erm, absolutely nothing). In particular, Pocket D is supposed to be a social space, and us trial hunters are messing with that.
It would be awesome if, when I enqueue via LFG, I could say that I wanted to wait for a 16 or 24 toon team. I don't really enjoy running trials with only seven other players. I want to be on a 16 toon Lambda or a 24 toon BAF. It's more fun, more mayhem, and more iXP.
So, it would rule if the team up teleporter gave me an option to wait around for that instead of getting all up in some other zone's biznass.
