  1. Thought this was supposed to be a duel in the arena not on the forums

OK Folks, been a busy night in pvp land.

First up: After reading x's 'emotional plea', the heart of my original pm'er melted, and I recieved a further pm begging me to allow the nimmer known as Gatling to CHOOSE A BLOODY LEVEL 50 TOON BY TOMORROW NOON OR ILL SUB ALL YOUR TOONS with level 5 blasters

Seriously though guys, just breath easy and remember there is a couple of years worth of pvp prowess coming to a head here, so I understand people getting anxious. Just remember we are all just here to enjoy the event.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Good I want a proper match
  3. I beat him on mine maybe ice/elec just better than ice/nrg
  4. You're blaster could easily kill a MM . . .

I'm going away from 14th til 21st so I'd like to get my fight out the way if poss Thursday would be best for me but could make Friday if needed.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Anytime you like chum-p.

Any chance I'm gonna be allowed to sub out the level 28 for something a bit more practical? I expected to have time to level it, but am rather busy of late.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Thursday at 8pm then? I dont mind who you play

I will also post the best loser spot by tomorrow along with the next round of matches.

    Cant wait
  8. Slows are generally more effective against rad/sonic because of the need to stack the -res whereas a rad/psi needs less attack chains. I've seen Rad/Psi's destroy ice/colds and ice/rads but there may have been other factors at work (player skill, HOs etc).

Accoladed Ice/Energy tanks, Ma/Regen (as mentioned), Rad/Sonic are all good against Rad/Psi.

I would imagine Ice/Energy or Ice/elec blasters would do pretty well but I've never seen them fight. Also Kin/Elec or Kin/Sonic would take advantage of the high endurance use.

OK Gen2, I have sorted out a replacement for Globey in your match. I apologise for the short notice, but your opponent has had the same time restrictions to sort things out.

So, without further ado, here goes

    5)@Gen 2
    Rock: Righteous Bob (Ill/Kin Controller)
    Paper: Splortch: (Spines/Inv Scrapper)
Scissors: Brutus Cayuga: (50 MA/Regen Scrapper)
    VS
    6)@Devilshot
    Rock: Coldfront (Ice/Storm Troller)
    Paper: Anica (Kin/Elec defender)
    Scissors: Julie the Schoolie (MA/Regen)

    Good luck to you both.

P.S. Can you get this completed asap guys, most appreciated

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Isnt Julie Ma/SR?
  10. [ QUOTE ]
    Bring it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Coming to pay-per-view shortly

    PvP Night.

Damn friends organising stuff on Mondays :/
  12. I'd love to see defender epics for corruptors, blaster epics for dominators, tank/scrapper epics for stalkers/brutes would really balance it but I cant see it happening much as I want my corruptors to have PB
  13. Phil_

    Omnipotent

Got some issues too but I should be there if a little late
  14. [ QUOTE ]
Lol you so know this will bring OMG CAN I CHANGE TOO requests, and if it happens for one, it has to happen for everyone.

    [/ QUOTE ]

You're just scared of being ice patched to death
  15. Thanks for raid guys hopefully we will be able to attack you at some point
  16. Given what you have said I came up with this build:

Gives pretty much perma hasten, perma dullpain, conserve power up half the time, instant healing up nearly half the time, build up 33% of the time, as well as quick firing recon and good recharges on attacks

This build is pretty much min-maxed in terms of HOs and IOs and would probably cost 250-300 mil
  17. I meant only slot sprint if you dropping fitness
  18. I'm pretty sure the 6% heal doesnt effect regen but I think you already have 5 x 5% recharge bonus so the bonus' are better than nothing If you can 2 slot sprint that would be good 1-2 end reductions with 1-2 running, though a couple of micro HOs (end/travel speed) is nice if you can afford them
  19. Generally PvP regens go speed, fitness, sj then another pool (tactics, or presence generally but tough can be nice too) but with +recovery IOs from numina and miracle you dont need stamina If you can get hold of them you can go speed, leaping, fear and tactics, with sprint slotted for unsuppressed movement. They are very expensive but can free up 3 powers and a pool which is nice. On my IOed regen I was beating on a DE giant monster not dying and not running out of end despite being staminaless so it really does work if you have the inf
  20. Looks decent enough for zonal pvp personally I would include SJ as movement is so important for a pvp scrapper but fear should help a little. I would but a LOTG +recharge in MoG if you arent gonna slot it 3 defence as it would be pretty useless. Finally maybe instead of dam/end slot a Mako's Bite Acc/Dam/Rec to maximise your slotting.
  21. any combination of /cold, /kin, /thermal, /rad would be an awesome duo. Though its when you get a 6 man corruptor gank squad when the real fun starts
  22. For a fire/elec using SOs I would look at something like this for pve:

And the best bit of advice to anyone starting a blaster is getting aim + build up asap. As far as PvE blasters go few are as rounded as fire/elec with great ranged AoEs, high single target damage from blaze and melee moves, pretty much infinite end from power sink. Just a question of getting high enough so you have everything slotted to a reasonable level
