To the OP: This is a really cool idea. Loving these so far.
An interesting excerpt from a fairly recent interrogation, this document illustrates some of the aspects of our prisoners that make Ziggursky Penitentiary unique. The interrogating officer has since been fired for negligence and dereliction of duty.
June 23, 2008.
Murphy, Elizabeth Ann. AKA Chill Maiden.
Yeah, yeah, I know my rights, I've been around for a long time, kid. So what is it you want to know? Did I kill the security guard? Of course I did. You catch any other people who could have driven a chunk of ice through his head? Didn't think so.
Yes, I'm a mutant. What gave it away, the 1908 on my birth certificate? No, I haven't aged a day since my powers showed up, around 18. Listen, after living this long, I don't really care what happens to you, or him, or even me, really. Everybody's gonna die someday, so why not have a little fun while you're here, eh?
Look, pal, I don't need an attorney. You put me away for however long enough it takes for you to feel good about yourself. I can wait. Besides, I've got friends in high places, so to speak. I'll be out of here before you know it.
You seem like a decent guy, so I'll just tell you it would be smart to call in sick in a couple of days, OK? Tell 'em you've got the flu, everybody always buys that one. It'll save your family a lot of grief. See you around, kid.
Warden's Note: The prisoner in question escaped, along with several others, when Arachnos launched a raid on the prison two days after this incident. She is presumed to be living in Port Oakes, in the Rogue Isles, and should be considered armed and dangerous at all times. -
These covers are so ridiculously awesome I'm gonna have to get one done myself. I love the tagline, too.

Went through my stack of screenies and found a few that fit this thread.
It's gonna blow! Mechanical Assassin destroys one of Dr. Geist's labs and pays the price.
Neutered Tsoo I found him like that. We had a mean tank on that mish.
I couldn't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am. Gyrojet over Independence Port. -

I just want to offer my praise for this fantastic story, and advise people never to do what I did the first time I read it, namely, log on and do the LGTF. Yelling "NOOOO, DON'T HURT HIM!" at my team was disconcerting.

Cool backstory, but the link goes to MySpace's main page.

I'd like to echo the love for Skender. That's one of the best robot designs I've seen.
Hurled through time during a spectacularly botched attack on a Nemesis stronghold, three men now use their bizarre and outmoded technology to survive in a very different world.
Roy McKenna, 1st Lt., Her Majesty's Royal Aeronauts.
The Red Flier
Karl Illenberger, Corporal, Imperial Prussian Engineers.
War Requiem
Andre Hamon, Conscript, Experimental Branch, French Artillery.
Steam Power -
Vengeance Weapon. It was what the Germans called their superweapons that were supposed to knock Britain out of WWII.
Vergeltungswaffe -
Two of the WWII stories, Atlas fighting the 5th Column and Nemesis's "Emperor of the Americas" takeover are at the top of the list for me.
Brass Monday would be cool as well, and would be a good opportunity to have some allies/enemies who really reflect the time period, two-fisted pulp adventurers and wily gadgeteers and such. -
This is a fabulous idea for a thread. I love characters from this era.
OK, here are some of my folks that fit the bill.
Cpt. Buck Flash: Tune in next week for another astonishing episode!
Doc Destruction: Still bitter because Nemesis stole his "Let's take over the capital with robots" idea.
Tesla Cannon: If one more person asks if I'm named after the Clockwork, things are getting messy.
English Electric: Disgraced hero of the war years, he just got re-rolled on Virtue a week ago. -

I don't know... a big blue ball would be much better

Heresy! Burn him! The Big Red Ball shall not be spoken of in this manner! -

Here goes nothing. My entry, Pacific Storm. A mean little Crey experiment at the beginning of a journey to meet her idol, Capt. Mako.

I'm curious what elements you used for Ms. Storm's face. Take away the horns and the mohawk and paste it onto a huge frame and that's a pretty good approximation of what I was hoping to accomplish for the "Creature" look.

Her ears are the Demon selection, and the face is Viper with the Gills mask over it in a slightly lighter color. -
Cleaned out a couple of alts that weren't getting much playtime, so Hammerblow and Scarlet Tide are now free to anyone who wants them.
