Just to prove that Im not a total slacker, and to keep this thread from falling off the boards. Here's some more progress on the coloring front. I think I want to redo the inks and colors on the hair, but other than that and the glasses which I now see I forgot to finish, I think Im almost ready to try to do the background. Man, Im slow.

To answer your question, Pep likes taking on all villains, as long as theres lots of them, but the Rularuu eyeballs and wisps can really piss her off!

You are not alone.
I had the same thing happen to me. I registered like a month ago, and I went through the verification, and it said I was a deviant. Then I tried to read my messages or add artwork, and I'd get the screen asking for verification again.

I had to send several emails to support, and finally tonight the same thing I had been trying for a month finally worked, and I got to submit some art.

Nice inks and colors, Aaron! The colors really bring that pic to life.
I'm working on my first piece with inks, and colors from PS, as well, so I know how hard it can be to learn how to do it.

I like the Lupin III one, too. It looks like the gun is right in your face. So when are you gonna draw Fujiko?

Thats lookin' real good, Graver. I really like the pose and all that royal trim on all the furniture.

The only thing that bothers me a little is the woman's face in the painting. Her left eye(our right) looks like it is sticking out of her head more than her right eye to me. I think maybe her right eye needs to be lowered a skosh, her left eye foreshortened a little more, and her left cheekline near her nose maybe raised a little? I don't know, thats just my gut feeling.

Oh, and also I cant see Cape Cod jutting out from the east coast on your globe.

I'd be interested in any coloring tutorials as well. I, too, am starting to color my first piece in PS.

I do know this guy has a couple tutorials on inking, and coloring, but I don't know if it'll help you, Celsia.

Irish Lass

Well, I was able to acquire a newer photoshop which has the vector tool, and its awesome! I think I've almost got the hang of using it as well as using layers. I tried to redo my irish Lass sketch using the pen tool to ink. I just need to figure out which brush to use when. Here is the result. Please let me know what you think, and how it compares to the one i did freehand. And as always, any critiques or advice are greatly appreciated.

Next, I need to learn how to color in PS. Now where is that Juggy tutorial?

Fenris Harlock is my were bengal space pirate captain claws/regen scrapper from another dimension.

I also have a catgirl named Kitty Kill but I cant remember which server she's on.

Heres some of my toons:

Pep Rally -lvl 50 invul/ss tank. Pep was irradiated by a carbon rod that she fashioned into a spirit stick that she kept under her pillow because it was her dream to get on the cheer squad.
second costume

Winter Heart - lvl 50 ice/emp controller. Winter was trapped in an avalanche and frozen while skiing some off limits slopes. She was discovered by a mad scientist hermit who used an experimental reanimation formula to revive her after the spring thaw. Winter has no emotions but can feel them in others.

Seera Illumina - lvl 34 peacebringer Seera was a detective in the Paramilitary Organization of Lawful Intergalactic Commonwealths and Environs until her ship and crew were destroyed by a Rikti ambush. She escaped to earth in her bioroid armor. Even she is thought dead by her highcommand, she is still tracking down her bounty, Fenris Harlock.

Lady Chantelle -lvl 34 dark/dark defender Lady was 14th century royalty who studied magic when she got bored with her normal curriculum. Her family's rival to the throne made a deal with a vampire to sire her so she would kill her family, but Chantelle used her magic to seal her soul within her body. This saved her family but they were appalled at what she became so she lived in seclusion until lately.

Irish Lass - lvl 50 BS/SR scrapper . Kerry Sheehan was a second generation irish american high school student living a normal life until her grandfathers' mysterious death. Kerry traveled to Ireland for the funeral, and discovered she was the inheritor of an ancient sword that has been in her family for centuries. Upon holding the sword, its magic was revealed it telepathically showed her the history of the war between the clans of her homeland, and the secret society that she was now a part of that protects the good people of Ireland. In the ensuinf months, Kerry recieved vast martial training, and with the her magic sword, Slicey O' Sword, she became the Bonny Irish Lass.

Bangs- lvl 50 AR/dev Bangs was the drummer for the Riot Grrl band, Scrumptious Tarts, until one day the 5th column bombed the club the y were playing in. The superhero Pep Rally saved her life but the rest of her band was killed. In order to avenge her friends, she sold her drums and bought an assault rifle, and her guitar tech dave makes her her gadgets.

Caterpillar Girl lvl 16 FF/sonic(formerly lvl 28 ill/FF) As a terminally ill infant, her genes were spliced with a caterpillars in order to save her life. She can make coccoons to protect her teammates.

Fenris Harlock lvl 43 claws/regen(victory server) lvl 13(virtue) Fenris is a notorious space pirate wanted in hundreds of worlds. While escaping from the intergalactic P.O.L.I.C.E., his crew mutinied, and he was barely able to fly an escape pod to the nearest planet Earth. He later found out the Rikti had used mentalists to brainwash his crew, so now he searches for his ship, crew or the Rikti and he lets noone stand in his way. Fenris was also infected by a virus that turns him into a were-bengal like creature when angered.

Dammit, AK escaped the artist dungeon in Legendaries' Tower, again. He always manages to make some sort of gizmo out of all the junk down there to get free. This is what happens when I go over to virtue to play for a few days. Mr. Mighty and Ingot are really slacking.

I have to agree with The_Foo. I really like the cross-hatching.
And although it is an awesome drawing, I'm gonna have to take you back to your cell, AK. Sorry.

I only have Photoshope Elements 3.0 that came with my tablet. It doesn't have a pen tool. Only Pencil, and brushes I think I need 5.5 or later to get the vector tool.
