Quote:Of course!Loyalist wouldn't want to take away the fences of their little zoo
We don't want those big tentacles to kill everything. And count on the rockies, and all those monsters on the Devouring Earth article on Paragon Wiki.
Also,we have to deal with you Resis, the Syndicate and the rainbow-skin Destroyers.
Thats tough!
BTW: Resistance have they're own secret language. We loyalists should speak in Novilingua(the language from 1984, I just forgot the name in english)
BTW2: I call the resistance "secret language" Resispeach just so I can remind everyone EVEN MORE OF 1984!!
*is a 1984 fan* -
Gah,I dislike this series.I liked Tartakovsky's Clone Wars better.Less talk, more action and great songs.Felt like a real war,not Shakespeare.Man,that Mace Windu punch-all episode is awesome, and the ARC Clones on the end of the Muunilist's arc are COOL!

Quote:Samuraiko,I bet the Necronomicon has the demon info you want. You should ask Desdemona.Birds, while not appearing in demofiles per se, CAN be added via democode (it's a weird thing). But to add a dust devil to a scene, I'd need to know its demo info.

Quote:I never denied that. In fact,as it happens on 1894, the Hamidon could well be used by the PRAETORIAN GOVERMENT ITSELF, to strike fear in its population, increasing they're fate that they are safe inside Praetoria. RL issues aside, one of the main reasons any politica/religiousl system is that it proclaims that salvation/safety is found only within its followers. At the Big Brother book, Airstrip 1 was constantly bombed by an "outside enemy"(that was,in reality, a truce between all socialist nations to attack each other and keep small skirmishes,so that they'd use this to control the population).Loyalists shouldn't start patting themselves on the back just yet. One screenshot of a single tentacle doesn't make for an open-and-shut case in favor of Emperor Cole's regime.
Tyrant's official bio clearly states that he was able to "contain" their Hamidon and that the "Devouring Earth threat {has} ended". Either that account needs to be qualified, or his propaganda department has some explaining to do. Noble Savage admits Praetorian Hamidon is "poorly understood", at least by the general population, and that goes for the players, too. From what we know currently, Praetorian Hamidon may be more of a direct threat to Ouroboros.
In any case, I look forward to more information in upcoming issues. -
hahaha!
We get this kind of thing here in Brazil all the time.
And it makes me mad -
Maybe he WANTS to have Hamidon out there. He need the fear of the Outside Threat alive, and attacking Praetoria,to remain in power,as much as the 1984 Big Brother needed the "outside war" and the daily falling missiles, even if that war was an arrangement amongst the socialist countries.

Quote:A red name posted on my lore thread CONFIRMING IT?AND I WAS THE FIRST TO GET A PICTURE OF THIS*Has heart attack*FINALLY. Congrats. As you've now seen, Hamidon is indeed out there, lurking in the forests. Spotting the beast should be a reminder to all citizens about the constant, immediate, and overwhelming threat faced by Praetoria, and a firm reminder not to venture past the sonic pylons.
This small taste of the Praetorian Hamidon has been in the game since GR launched, and internally, we've all been wondering and guessing how long it might be before one of you guys caught a glimpse or better yet, a photo. And now you have--bravo!
Depictions of Hamidon that you see scattered around Praetoria are merely a charicature of the real thing: artists' renderings of something seen only from a distance and poorly understood. Hamidon has changed since players last confronted the creature in Primal Earth, but the story here is just beginning to unfold...
SEE??
THE HAMIDON IS REAL! -

Quote:That is because you're not reading Tyrant's bio!Okay so I didn't see the reference on the GR page stating that the Hamidon in Praetoria has tentacle and claws. I also NEVER said I thought whatever the OP had a picture of was HYDRA. I said it looked similar to the Hydra Tentacles and then went on to say I saw no reason why there could not be DE on Praetoria that did look just like that.

Thats were we get the info that Praetorian Hamidon has Claws,Tentacles, and, more important,an enormous conscience and is probably an Incarnate. Why?
Quote:The creature quickly healed the injury and responded by projecting a tangible beam of psychic energy at Cole, rendering him limp and helpless. A battle of wills ensued, and the world held its collective breath.
PRIMAL HAMIDON'S A NOOB! -

Quote:Actually, the Praetorian Hami IS DIFFERENT FROM THE PRIMAL HAMIDON.I have to agree. While that is a cool picture and very well may be something the Praetorian Hamidon had a hand in creating it is not Hamidon.. Not unless the Praetorian version of Hami is a LOTdifferent looking than he is in the Hive or the Abyss. I have battled him in both and trust me there were no tentacles involved.. Picture a giant green jello mold with yellow, blue and green slices of fruits inside
It actually does look much more like the Hydra Tentacles you face in the Abandoned Sewer Trial and now in mission one of the Apex TF. Of course
the Clockwork got a whole new look in Praetoria so who is to say the the DE couldn't have something similar... and I do seem to recall that there were some sort of DE tentacles located in some of the deep cracks located in Faultline. They looked a lot like Hydra tentacle beasts too but were definately Devouring earth.
I wonder if this is something we can look forward to battling in the future though. We have been sort of promised more content in Praetoria and even content above level 20.
I quote Tyrant's Bio(from Paragon Wiki):
Quote:This challenge was what Cole was destined for. Not wishing to see more of his Praetorian Guard killed, he faced off alone against the beast. The battle was brief, and at first, indecisive. Cole's attacks damaged the creature, but the same physiology that had rendered it immune to a half-dozen nuclear weapons was able to deal with Cole's powers. Likewise, Cole was too tough for the flailing tentacles and claws of the monster to do much to him other than swat him around. Desperate to kill the beast, Cole called upon a reserve of energy he had not ever suspected lay within him and unleashed a devastating bolt of power that nearly laid the beast low. Now Cole had its undivided attention
It could not be the Hydra, for the tentacle came from THE MIDDLE OF THE TREES that surround Praetoria. If you fly high enough you can see that most of the land is covered by a huge forest. Also, quoting the Paragon Wiki:
Quote:The alien Rikti created the Hydra to guard their secret bases beneath the city. It seems programmed to attack anything that isn't Rikti. Heroes must stop this creature from growing any larger and threathening the city as a whole. -

Quote:He's right. One of the worst things is that mostly 99% of the brazilian players are labeled as "noobs" or "Plers" or anything that annoys the serious MMO players. So,most brazilians who are interested in a serious game, avoid other brazilians. Who haven't seen someone say "PL or I report u" on a main village/city/whatever?I've been playing for almost 4 years, and I bought the game (from LevelUp, despite all the bad marketing) knowing that I wouldn't play with Brazilians. That wasn't a problem for me. Even so, I tried to promote the game among my close friends to no success. I guess the theme didn't cater to them or something.
The idea of a Brazilian M&G was, for *me*, not interesting, because, like I said, I don't play with Brazilians. Sure, I have played with them a few times, but it doesn't compare with how much I play with English-speaking people. Also the frustration of not getting my Brazilian friends to play led me to think the game wouldn't be big here. LevelUp as a retailer only makes things worse.
Still, I hope for more M&Gs in Brazil and that they are successful.
I am aware that most of the BR( brazilians) on COX are different, and this makes our number even thinner. -
First time I get a 4-page post!!
*is sad because his SG recruitment posts are empty*
