Quote:And some of us don't. It isn't a bad AT though, and badge hunting seems to work well. I just hit 450 badges, I know I have a long way to go, on the 50 Heavies in RV badge. I am halfway to the 100 rep badge on him as well, and PVP on a shade is pretty hard for me.And, no, you don't have to consider khelds the best. Some of us think those AT's kind of suck.
Personal preference really, badge on something you like playing. I personally think that something that has some AOE would be good for the defeat X badges so you can mow through them but I wouldn't badge on something I didn't enjoy playing. -
Quote:This makes me sad, a bit. I find PVP to be kind of fun. I do die a lot on my shade but I go there to badge really. I don't mind getting killed in the zones and I try and fight back whenever I can but I really just want the rep badges.Sadly macskull is correct, you can spec a Warshade with powers that don't rely on lot of mobs or dead enemies, but you just won't be very good afterwards.
All the good powers a Warshade has are pretty useless in pvp. You can't even rely on the teleport foe > gravity well trick anymore so hit and run away to stay alive is about the best you can hope for, but I find that so boring.
I have tried PvP in Dwarf, Nova and Human, Dwarf can take the hits (Or some at least) but can't do the damage, Nova can do the damage but can't take the hits, and human is neither here nor there. The form changes are not fast enough so by the time to swap say from Nova to Dwarf after someone tries to fight back it is too late.
I am not a leave me alone, I am badge hunting kind of person. I know the risks involved and will play along. Kill me and I come back for more. I don't broadcast what I am doing. I die, get my heavy and go to die again. Almost have that heavy badge. The rep badge just may well elude me though because I just cant kill enough to make a dent. I get lucky once in a while and I am having fun but I just don't know if I can get good enough for that 400 number. -

Maybe it is because I am on Freedom but I dont have team finding problems outside of AE. Last night I did a Faathim PUG with knowing only two of the eight. Most night I am not looking and still get invites and I play my Warshade most of the time. Not sure about the other servers but "my experience" leaves me satisfied. -

Much better, thanks Niv!

My wife plays 100% female characters, mine are 55/45% female/male.

Oh good gosh, Ultimus lives in the same small town that I do.
At least I know what the issue is now. -
Quote:We use another term for what might happen at a nudist colony, but I like that one as well.On a side note, I'm not going to go to a nudist colony if I'm not comfortable being around naked people... and if I happened to go to one, I'm not going to call the cops if somebody noticed my uneasiness and told me it might be best if I left.
On topic, the rare times I have had negative interactions with others I just report/ignore and go about my business. I don't let others ruin my game, that's what wife aggro is for. -
Quote:Having lived in East Texas, Louisiana and southern Mississippi, I as well as our friends between there and Florida can understand where you are coming from. I moved to Arizona to get away from all of that humidity. I will say that there becomes a point where hot is hot and you just want to stay inside humid or no. I will take 32 C and humid over the day we hit 50 C any day though.I know exactly what you mean. Today hasnt been much better either. Took a shower and then had to run to an apiontment. I wondered why I hadnt done it the other way around. Perople outside Britain really dont appreciate just how opressive the humidity is in this country. Mind that said when looking at certain Asian coutries and tropical areas the thought make me feel all sticky. So I do realise we get it mild in comparison.

I like Vegas, and your temps are not far off from ours Just a couple degrees below Phoenix. They have some pretty nice magic shops there too.

Quote:Would the 45 C we had last week here be too much?Roasting I don't mind, and define as anything over 32 deg C.
What I hate is being steamed - it's been only about 25 C this last week, but horrifically humid. I'm not a beanpaste bun. Very glad that the only time I need to think about the Tube at the moment is when trying to explain and promote the fine and ancient game of Mornington Crescent to the colonials, dontcherknow. -

We're McIlroys, I am pretty sure it goes back to the UK. Do you have a little Scottish in you? While my first response that I thought of made me giggle and might get me mod-smacked, I can say that there is a clan Scott so your chances are good.
-
Whilst I am not entirely sure that my surname Scots or Irish, cant find any information earlier than the mid 1600's, I can say that I am the proud owner of a couple of these "man skirts" as she calls them and I will happily do the same. Then again, I don't get a chance to chase girls anymore. My wife frowns on that kind of thing.

Quote:We share them forever. They all have to put up with me now.Just thought AI would pop in and say hello to all of these new folks!
and maybe give others a chance to say hi and stuff to each other.
Corny? maybe. But just wanted to say hi! and that I think its great that we now share a board or space.
Is this temp does anyone know? Or are our boards now perma linked?
Either way Hi again!

Greetings from the cold state of Arizona. I don't view the Euro lounge as an US versus them, the entire boards are all of ours, EU and NA. I have enjoyed my time in this spot in the forums. I get to meet new people, I have learned about new foods and I get to giggle at funny words and spellings. I think it is nice that we have finally come together.

Quote:Moose Munch wins hands down. Would love to be sent chocolate, the wife and I love it, but I doubt it would make it in the Arizona heat.Beers: Bass, Boddington's & Newcastle for my staples... Guinness as an occasional treat when we go somewhere that has it on tap. Not a big fan of any IPA's or Pilsners. For Homegrown US beer, I like Rogue Ales.
As for chocolate, Hershey's is the bottom of the barrel in my book. I like Lindt or even Godiva for a quick fix. Our friends from London sent us some Green & Black's organic chocolate... I tried to make it last as long as possible... *sigh*
What amuses me is what they like to get in return... blueberry Pop Tarts and Cracker Jacks....Cracker Jacks? I keep trying to tell them that Moose Munch kicks Cracker Jacks a**

I prefer Guinness over here but I have only has it cold. What others should I try? I don't drink it if I can see through it so I need dark if possible.
