wow i'm sorry i read through this but i'll throw in my 2 cents worth anyway

firstly have people not realized that the devs are in the process of adding a huge amount of stuff that has been asked for for soooooooo long (going rogue,power customization, dual pistols -sigh-)

i find it unlikely that we'll be playing GR on live this year to be honest, so when was the last time we were given all the info so long before even beta testing.

the Devs always tease us about content, its marketing if they told us everything people could say "thats [censored] *cancels sub*" which is bad for business for obvious reasons

and lastly the devs will never keep up with peoples suggestions, as soon as people get what they want, they want something else. Faraway hills and all that malarky. and given recent in game experience more and more people are confusing CoX with a single player game

if people want an MMO where all their wildest dreams come true either develop your own or start paying a couple of hundred a month in subs

oh and for the record of all the MMOs I've played i do believe MA has some amazing potential and is one of the most original systems I've seen (it just coulda done with another 6 months of testing

mind you im also tempted to just put +1, but i'll restrain myself and add something

now would be a great for patch notes and an announcement from posi but then again timing is not their best attribute,

maybe they are getting "form no longer valid"

as for now the cynic in me will continue to kick the snot out of the optimist in me. (I'm still irked about no base love in soooooo long)

lets hope so then i can get started on my DM/regen

mind you the cynic in me is saying we arent getting anything lets hope im wrong

i agree wholeheartedly that it has the potential to be one of my fave TFs aswell ive made one attempt at it until we got to a point where he was on an unstoppable cycle he'd go down to 55k health then pop unstoppable and back up to 75k and this happened about 10 times. Now i'm all for challenging gameplay but imho giving an enemy an insane amount of HP is a bit of a cop out when it comes to creating a challenge. For a while hammering away at him was kinda fun then it just turned into a senseless grind

as for the other missions i liked them but they are kinda "blink and you miss em missions"

i can see myself getting the badge some other time but after that i dont think id do it again unless it gets tweaks, as it is nowhere near as fun as the TFs added in the last several issues (just my opinion anyway)

but we can already make pirates ninjas and warriors (although they arent great)

for me personally i would much rather see more spec ops type of stuff considering my new SG concept and also the much requested scabbards holsters etc but as it is natural and mutation are going to be difficult boosters as they are so damn broad

does the salvage for the lost curing want show on WW/BM?

just throwing this out there lets say the side-along issue to going rogue which im assuming I17 but could be another introduces a little prelude to GR, say the issue goes live a week or 2 before GR releases and it introduces zone invasions by praetorian androids along the lines of rikti invasions which would drive heroes and villains into praetorian earth to stop/join tyrant or else to change their loyalties altogether


or maybe im reading too much into 6 pieces of salvage

description of android armor plate. which to me says if it isn't part of GR it is at least related to the praetorian/primal earth lore so an android army invasion world event as a prelude would be cool

i would seriously recommend a walk outside for a while some air may chill you out a bit

otoh there'll prolly be an a formal announcement when they are back up as they seem to be having problems with the french and german servers

always get new posters when the servers are down for an extended period of time

so sometime this week (I'm assuming Tuesday but don't quote me on that) you can pay for a booster pack and get the ability to change height size gender etc based on costume slots

fair point but look at the other packs not all magic origin are witches or magicians not all tech origin are cyborgs and not all science origin are mad scientists but they kinda have to generalize in these packs or else it'd just be a shambles.

To me the most stereotypical natural hero would be a soldier/swat etc (AR/Dev blaster for example)

well they have left the two broadest origins left till last but i like the idea i probably wouldnt give it alot of use but more costume pieces are always a plus

I do like the sound of the power though and as i said in the other thread all i'd add here would be hip handgun holsters like longbow have and scabbards- that is all

longbow already have holsters on their hips iirc and im sure some NPC has a waist scabbard

im hoping for scabbards and pistol holsters in the natural booster pack or maybe in GR

(can't wait till a week or two from now so we can hear more about the upcoming features )

for a long time mine was Forseti a claw/regen scrap just so much fun to play bot solo and in teams but after a break from the game i came back and decided to make a new main (regen had begun to bore me) so i settled on a katana/WP scrap and i haven't regretted it once character is so much fun to play ridiculous survivability and great damage.

i actually look forward to playing him even if im not doing anything productive
