  1. Bit mixed really. Warburg has seemed a lot busier, so at least there's regular fighting going on, although personally I don't like Warburg that much compared to the other zones. I don't like PvPing at level 38 most specifically, also I hate the way everyone congregates on the beach generally. If you can get the fight moved up into the zone it's a lot more enjoyable.

RV is quieter PvP wise, if possible. I very rarely see much in the way of people looking to PvP at all (hence spending more time in Warburg despite the fact I prefer PvPing at level 50 and like RV better). There's also significantly more heroes than villains in there as a general rule which I find makes it a bit dull - I don't have any high level villains or I'd probably spend more time in there.

SC seems unchanged. Sometimes there's a fight, sometimes there isn't.

BB is not somewhere I tend to go. My characters don't tend to exemp well quite that far.

    Almost certainly.

Bleedin' 'ell those photos are old.
  3. Sympathy and popularity are not my concern. I'm just pointing out that the first post in this thread is a little innacurate.

    After all:

You really know how to take a compliment gracefully, don't you.

Edit: You edited while I was replying. :P
  5. You've never, to my knowledge, killed me in any zone, you're talking almost as much rubbish as you do in zone. The only decent stalker I regularly run into in PvP zones who does get the odd kill on my kinetic - in fact who's accountable for almost all the kills on my Kinetic, is AranosX. He plays to the strengths of his AT and his sets, he only attacks when you're already fighting and usually only when Elude is up. Not that I'm knocking that, it makes perfect sense, and it works very well for him. Having my defender killed by a stalker from time to time doesn't give me major issues, it's bound to happen. You are simply not in the same league.

There's a difference between a bit of bad language and this.
  6. Oh, but you missed out on the tells, it was a truly a fantastic display of behaviour all round. Particularly coming from two of the "leaders" of the group I find when reading this thread.

Lovely bunch these guys, really nice.
  7. What can I say, yet again, you guys were just a treat last night in Warburg!

You really should learn to spell some of those swearwords if you're going to use them quite that often. You may also fair slightly better in PvP zones if you spent a little less time typing about how you were having sex with various members of people's family, and a bit more time paying attention to what was going around you, although even then I'd think you've a long way to go really.

Thanks for the code pieces by the way, they got me a shiney badge.

I can hardly wait to bump into you guys again.

  8. Cool, full team now.

    See you later.
  9. I had the pleasure of teaming with you guys in CoV the other day, it was a good fun and an enjoyable team.

I also had the displeasure of bumping into one of the people who's posted in this thread as one of your members in RV the other day when I was playing my hero, a shame that you have to ruin good play (in PvE, the guy in question was a terrible stalker) by having your members running around throwing obscenities at people on broadcast when they're losing.

I think your group would come accross as more "friendly" (as stated in the initial post), if that didn't happen.

  10. My supergroup is planning on running the Croatoa TF tonight (Tuesday) at 8:00pm UK time and has two spots free. This is intended to be a quick run through for the purpose of grabbing a recipe, we will not be killing Mary ten times so there will be no "Ten times the victor" badge available from it.

Teamspeak users would be preferred but it's not essential. It just makes life easier

    Anyone up for it?

Please shout here or drop me a PM if so. Cheers.

If I'm ever on TS with you I'll have to remember to play THAT scene from Deliverence over the TS.

I'm pleased to say I have absolutely no idea at all what you're talking about.
  12. Glad people enjoyed it. With four people in the team who hadn't done it before I was trying to avoid giving too much away as we went along - I do think it's a very good TF so it seems a shame to spoil it.

'grats on the level 50 by the way Tuft.

Illum, I wouldn't replace the microphone until you've had a play about with your sound settings. You were just extremely quiet, it's possible you simply had microphone boost turned off which seems to be a common cause of being extremely quiet on TS.

Standoff, I won't be organising one next weekend. Seeing a friend from the SG (Swampy) so unless Ohms decides to organise one I think it'll probably not happen till the week after.

Good chance of an Eden trial on Sunday evening though, probably with one spot free, I'll let you know what we're up to nearer the weekend if you're up for a bit of TFage.
  13. Yeah, these things happen, no problem, we filled the spot.

Most of it was a breeze, we had a bit of a hard slog on Lord Recluse and his little pillars tonight (first time I've done it without a stone tanker, the fire tank got absolutely battered, poor chap) but we got there.

Thanks to everyone who joined us, made good work of a very squishy team in the end.
  14. Earth TA maybe? Any of the controllers would work though - I'll be playing a kin, but if I'm the only one who can give status resist (which I will be) when we fight ghost widow I'll be ID spamming the tanker so probably not a good idea to be completely dependant on SB.

I'll try very hard not to think about that when I'm chating to people on teamspeak later.
  16. OK, that's a full team.

I think the earth storm will probably be better, but can I let you know this evening?

    Wyx.

Edit: 7:00pm BST. UK isn't on GMT at the moment.
  17. Mega Amp, that's fine.

We do have one more space - someone dropped out. Would prefer another defender or a controller though if possible - it's not essentially but would help. If interested, give me a shout. Cheers.

I could do with at least one being either a controller or defender.

    Anyone up for it?

Please shout here or drop me a PM if so. Cheers.
  19. TS is well worth it. Can't imagine gaming without it and wouldn't have anyone in the group who didn't use it.

We have a jolt server, which is paid for jointly by a few members, can't remember offhand what it costs but it's not that much. Few quid a month.

Main problems with "people talking over each other" (just doesn't work, only one person can transmit at once) tend to be caused by people having voice activation on (which will likely give you a horrendous echo as their mic picks up everyone elses voices coming back through the speakers, in addition to their music and whatever other delightful noises they make while alone at the PC). Make sure everyone has push to talk enabled (Settings / Sound Input-Output Settings / Push to Talk) and you solve half your issues in one go.

    PvP harrassment?

Regarding persistancy, I guess what I really mean is there's no real sense of consequences to your actions because PvP is limited to certain areas. I'm not suggesting I think this should be changed, just observing that in a game where if you make a complete plonker out of yourself someone can (and probably will) make your whole gaming life quite difficult, people might think twice (or hell, even once) before opening their trap.

As to what part of the policy I disagree with, I disagree with how obviously lenient it is (if it wasn't, people wouldn't need to be petitioned multiple times for the same thing, and yet still be found acting in the same way). I also think I disagree with how quiet you keep what is done about it. I don't view it as humiliating people to say they've been banned, I view the behaviour that would get them the ban in the first place as far more humiliating.

I guess I just think there's something fundamentally broken about how things work at the moment, because, as you say, my game experience is somewhat different from yours. I have to think it's at least partly your responsibility (your company, not you personally) to manage these issues to a degree, and you're not, so I have to think something is broken.

I also think the reason I find it so damn irritating is the forum v ingame content comparison.

    I'm aware that's a bit vague.

Edited to add: I also think we've probably done this one to death for now - can't see this going anywhere.
  21. Alvan, I think we'll go for the controller please in the hope you can be a bit more restrained. You playing that blaster gets me in a lot of trouble with our tanker!

That's a full team. See you Friday. We'll be going for a fairly rapid run through I would imagine.

Clau, if anyone drops out I'll send you a tell.
