I'll help with this as soon as work mellows out. Right now we're going through a major systems migration and my days get splintered and stretched pretty badly. I'm hoping it will only be another month or so before things calm down.

Quote:Yes, thank you for pointing that out. I was getting more of the visual of the Tanks involved rather than stating the Power Set, Powers, or more appropriately the game mechanics involved (I shouldn't post first thing in the morning...). My bad. Let me restate my original sentence. "Tanks with lower regeneration/heal times will need more EoE's depending their position and the amount of time they have to soak fire."There is none. Stone tanks get great regen with Rooted, but that's it. Actually granite may be worse because of the -recharge, so I think most of it is psychological.
I like the suggestion about the earlier call for Tanks to return to their positions. As well as taking time after the mito waves are down to collect EoEs (as needed). Bionic_Flea makes a great point about staying in position, but I like to assist with the mito removal and standing around can get boring. So, I'd like to continue to be mobile. I vote for earlier call to mitos for the Tanks.
Anyways, I did enjoy the raid and look forward to the next one! -
Yes, sorry for any confusion. TTJ meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. The trouble was I misread the calendar. The 1st Tuesday was in the 2nd week... so, was entirely my fault. The actual 2nd Tuesday this month is on the 12th (third week).
So, the good news is you haven't missed it...if you showed up last night you were just fashionably early. -
Now with that out of the way...
Tanker Tuesday Justice is only six days away! If you haven't rolled that new Tank for the new year, now is the time to get it rolling! We'll meet on the 12th at IP Gate in King's Row, 6pm PT/9pm ET and set teams up. Any requests for TFs, Trials or other? Let me know. See you all there! -
Hi Kestrel,
No, my mistake I misread the dates on the calendar in my previous post...My apologies (I blame the holidays and work...). Thank you for showing up and supporting Tanker Tuesday. TTJ will run on its usual Tuesday of month (the 2nd Tuesday) even if I can't read a calendar...
Hope to see you on the 12th.
Tanker Tuesdays Schedule
1st Tuesday of the month, TT is held on Champion
2nd Tuesday of the month, TT is here on Justice
3rd Tuesday of the month, TT Tour Date
4th and 5th Tuesdays are for reloads and just plain more Tanking!
I did we get to all the servers during the tour or is there still one to go? -
I'm good with either style. I think I liked the no retreat a little better, but coming from the non-Granite side of the Taunt team, we need to have plenty (probably around 8 or more per non Stone Tank, depending on positioning and Primary Power Set) of EoE's at the start of the Raid. Retreat raiding gives us that window between spawns to redistribute EoE's.
May have been a fluke but it seemed like EoE drops were extremely sparse during the monster hunt last time.
I'm thinking about transferring a Stone Tank from another server and leveling him up here...
Thanks ArwenDarkblade, Team Leaders and all Raiders for a fun raid. See you at the next one! -
Can't wait until we get that emote...
TT was great fun! I got to run the Citadel TF with my then level 26 Fire/Ice and got my first ever Numina's Convalescence +rec/+reg as a drop (usually I have to use inf or merits to get these), so a great night for me. I'm not sure how many team we ended up with, but we had a great turn out. It was good to see BaB at a TT and I'll have to admit his shape shifting prowess was at it's peak. He even seemed somewhat interested in the idea of Radition Melee...for a brief moment in time... Now if we can only get RM into the next issue.... -
Yes, TT is on. There's a post in the Champions Forum.

Yes, Champion is the home of Tanker Tuesday. And as others have mentioned happens on the first Tuesday of each month. Justice also offers a Tanker Tuesday on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Last year Pep started the Tanker Tuesday Tour where Tanks from TT went to other servers bringing the thrill of all team tanking for all to see. On that note, are we going to continue the Tour this year? Or just reloading when asked?

Good to hear. I haven't been able to make the last two due to holiday scheduling and such, but should be able to make it to the next one!
-
Another fun TTT Reload! Thanks everyone for joining us in the last TT of 2009! We had two missions teams running and great deal of leveling! See you all next year on Champion! Happy New Year!!!

Happy Holidays everyone! On Tuesday the 29th Tanker Tuesday will reload to Guardian. This is a player run event which consists of all Tank teams running Task Forces, Trials and missions. It's a night when the Tanks can take some time away from protecting the squishies (event usually lasts 2hours) and cut lose with other tanks plowing their way through Paragon.
Come join us, all levels and power sets are welcome as long as you're a Tank. We'll meet in King's Row by IP Gate at 6pm PT\9pm ET to set teams up and decide on TF's or what ever we come up with. Please line up on the wall and hold up the number of your level range (example: /e score1, or /em score 1 for a level range of 1-10).
Levels 1-10 hold up a 1
Levels 11-20 hold up a 2
Levels 21-30 hold up a 3
Levels 31-40 hold up a 4
and levels 41-50 hold up a 5
Hope to see you there! -

We'll meet in the usual spot, King's Row by IP Gate at 6pm PT\9pm ET. Please line up on the wall and hold up your appropriate level sign (it makes team set up much easier). Use the emote command and then the appropriate number for your level range(example: /e score1). Levels 1-10 hold up a 1
Levels 11-20 hold up a 2
Levels 21-30 hold up a 3
Levels 31-40 hold up a 4
and levels 41-50 hold up a 5
Wear a top hat if you're in honor of the new year. Let me know if there's a TF you want to run. Sister Psyche and Citadel are fun ones to run so we can look at doing those if there are no other suggestions.
See ya' all there! -
Tonight's the night! Tanker Tuesday Reloads to Freedom! Meet us in King's Row by IP Gate at 6pm PT\9pm ET and we'll get things rolling.
-
Tanker Tuesday Relaod to Freedom tomorrow night! We're looking at the 3rd respec trial and any other suggestions folks have for Tanking fun.
See you all in King's Row by IP Gate at 6pm PT\9pm ET! -
I think I did the Psi proc on EA for my Ice Tank... "Brain Freezing" them.
For Footstomp I usually go for heavier Recharge after I have damage and Accuracy where I want it. Haven't tried a Proc there, I'll have to check it out. -
Hi all,

Hope to see you all there
*King's Row, by IP Gate on the wall, 6pm PT/7pm MT/8pm CT/9pm ET. -
Another fun time was had on tour. Thank you Victory for being such a great host. I think we ended up with three teams running a mixed level team, a TF team (running Citadel?) and an upper levels team. In any case the mixed level team made a couple of forays into the frosty realm of Lord Winter (in between door missions) and participated in foiling his chilly plans.
As usual I had a great time and got to meet some of the Tankers on Victory. Thank you all for a great time! -
Winter Even is live. Will we be pounding Snaptooth or heading to the "Winter Zone" for frosty mayhem?

I'm good with Blue side raiding whenever it's offered and I'll happily volunteer for Yellow Taunt duty. I'd also like to lead a raid or two at some point, but I need work to mellow out a bit first... anyways I'm up for all and might even be able to bring a few SG members depending on schedules.
