Another fun TT! Thanks all for showing up. We ran two mission teams one of "upper level" team (35-50) and "lower level team" else level 1-34. I think both teams ended up doing radios.
We had an interesting blend of powers last night. The lower level team consisted of Macer's and EMer's a couple of Secondaries you don't (well, I don't at least...) see a lot of these days, not to mention in that concentration. In any case we were able to put some levels on all members of the team and had a good time.
Thanks for the hospitality Guardian! See ya' again soon! -
Tonight is the third TT in our quest for another 5 in 1 month and we'll be reloading to Guardian! Same Tank time, same Tank place! Hope to see you all there!
As always all power sets and levels are welcome, as long as you're a Tank! -
Tonight's the night! Tanker Tuesday on Guardian! See you all there!

I agree with Minotaur Invuln/SM is a great combo for aggro management. Fault and Tremor do wonders at keeping the goons off their feet and aggro on the Tank. It's a fun build and the run to 50 is very enjoyable.

Two day call! Tanker Tuesday reloads this Tuesday to Guardian!
Meet us in King's Row by IP Gate at 6pm PT\9pm ET. All power sets and levels welcome, as long as you're a Tank!
See ya' soon! -
Hi False,
I've been working on a WP/SS Tank myself and I've found a few things to be helpful.
1. More Hit Points = better
2. More Regen = better
3. More Hit Points + More Regen = Best especially on a "Healing/Regen" Tank (which is pretty much what WP is).
4. Tough and Weave really help this build, get them.
5. If you go with IO Sets look for more Hit Points, Regen, and Defense.
6. Personally I don't think Accolades are enough Hit Point wise. Get them, but don't leave off there. WP really benefits from more Hit Points due to the way Regen works.
7. Watch out for attacks that reduce or shut down your Regen, Malta's Plasma Cannon wielding robots can be a pain.
That being said, there's some good advice on the Tanker Forums for WP. I'd check around and see what you can find. Heraclea has done several nice guides as have others. Here's the link to Hera's http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=125665=
and a link to the Tanker Guides

Forgot to mention, Look at Energy Mastery for your Epic. Physical Perfect adds even more Regen (and Hit Points (?) can't remember) to the mix). -
Hi all!
The Tanker Tuesday Tour is returning to Triumph on March 23rd!
For players who are unfamiliar with TTs, Tanker Tuesdays are player run events consisting of all Tank teams. We run Task Forces, Trials, missions and whatever else the game has to offer. It's a time to take a break from protecting the squishies (TT's usually last about 2 hours) and let loose with havoc Tank style. It's a great place to see power sets and play styles in action, ask questions, offer advice or just hang around and pound goons!
All levels and power sets are welcome, as long as you're a Tank! Come join the fun! We meet in King's Row by IP Gate at 6pm PT\9pm ET!
Hope to see you all there! -
Tanker Tuesday returns on the 16th! That means you have one week to roll your new Tanker toon or spruce up the one you've got and join the fun!
All Tanks are welcome regardless of level or power set, so we hope to see you all there! -
Sounds like we had a good TTJ, sorry I was unable to attend, but RL has been placing demands.
Anyways...as Sailboat mentioned next TT will be on Guardian on the 16th! Hopefully RL will calm down enough for me to make it.
Take care all, see ya' soon! -
I didn't get as much playing time in as I would have liked, but the teams I got on were fun and I had a great time! Thanks all! See ya' soon

Hi all,
I've had a Real Life issue come up that I need to deal with next Tuesday, the 9th. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make TTJ. I'm hoping that someone can step and take the reins of organizing TTJ if I can't make it. Post here or PM me if you can help out.
Thanks all, hope to see you soon! -
Just two weeks until TT stops back by Guardian! Roll up a Tank if you don't already have one and meet us in King's Row on March 16th by IP Gate at 6pm PT\9pm ET. All power sets and levels are welcome as long as you're a Tank!

See you all there! -
For what it's worth, I leveled and Elec/Fire to 50 pretty much as soon as it became able live and I have to say it's a monster.
I went for as much recharge as I could (I have very little defense on the build). I like it. FSC recharges in 5 seconds with Hasten up and 7 when it's cycling. This also means that he can sap the End out of mobs very quickly and by the second application they're only hitting him with a minimum of attacks. Longer encounters can wear on him, so I can see how adding defense would help.
As the other poster suggested go for maxing S/L, although I would encourage you to work some recharge in there as well (with Hasten and Lightning Reflexes being the minimum). -

Quote:Very cool, glad to have you join us! I think you'll both enjoy the Power Sets you've chosen. I have one of each and both are extremely fun builds to run.Got lucky and got tonight off so wife and I both rolled new fire tanks. Just want to make sure got the info straight...Justice server, KR by the IP gate, at 8pm CST? Looking forward to the 4th Tuesday on Triumph thats our home server.
This is, hopefully, our first TT hope to see you all there.
Temper Steel (F/SS) and Kidney Stone (she's small but a big pain ((F/SM)))
See ya' soon! -
Hi all,
Just wanted to clarify some questions I've been getting about this months TTJ. Although we are running a "Fire Tank theme" it's still a Tanker Tuesday which means all Tanks are invited and welcome. If you don't have a Fire Tank, don't worry about, bring your usual Tank and join the fun!
All Tanks are welcome at Tanker Tuesday's, all the time, all levels and all Power Sets! Hope to see you there!! -
Quote:I was late getting there I'm afraid, got stuck at work.I only said I wouldn't be there, but encouraged those that wanted to do it to go ahead and do it anyway. Apparently Nuc is one of those people.
In the future I'll take a more active roll in getting one rolling in your absence Arwen.
