Elec/Fire
Well thanks to altitis, I just have gotten my elec./fire up to 20. I have found a question, does the endurance reduction of energize stack on a power if said power has ER enhancements in it?

My elec tank is only lvl 26, but yes, the end reduction in Energize works just like the end reduction in Conserve power, just for a shorter time and lower magnitude.
Well, now I have the tank up to level 27 and does powersink rock! I almost like it better than Energy absorption on my ice/fire tank. I have a question and it is in regards to Lightning field, is it best to slot it for damage, or endurance sapping, or go for franken slotting it.

Well I have gotten this tank up to 33 (altisis can be such a fun delay of leveling) and have found out with the electric armor tough is almost a have to have power. Now I am wondering as I am starting to collect sets, and wondering if I should go for defensive bonus, or recharge bonuses. I mean defense is good for creating a layering effect. However recharge gets energize up faster and of course increases the amount of damage put out (a mob arrested can't hurt ya).

For more survivabilty defense is your answer. Focus on Smashing/Lethal defense, the more you get the stronger you'll be. Any recharge you can get will be great, but defense will keep you from being hit and make Energize a nice to have, not a power you're desperately hoping recharges in time.
Thanks, I was wondering if I should build it like my fire/fire. It seems almost as if someone looked at the old fire armor set and patched up the holes in it and took away the offensive edge.

For what it's worth, I leveled and Elec/Fire to 50 pretty much as soon as it became able live and I have to say it's a monster.
I went for as much recharge as I could (I have very little defense on the build). I like it. FSC recharges in 5 seconds with Hasten up and 7 when it's cycling. This also means that he can sap the End out of mobs very quickly and by the second application they're only hitting him with a minimum of attacks. Longer encounters can wear on him, so I can see how adding defense would help.
As the other poster suggested go for maxing S/L, although I would encourage you to work some recharge in there as well (with Hasten and Lightning Reflexes being the minimum).

I have just started a new tank over on Triumph. I thourghly enjoyed leveling up my fire/fire tank and after leveling up an ice/fire decided to see how an electric tank would fare. I have her at level 13ish and so far not too bad. Doing a lot of clockwork missions (the maxed out energy protection, and endurance drain protection is very nice). So I am curious has anyone else out there made this combo? What would be good choices of powers (mainly from the electric side) I am pretty familiar with fire melee.
