  1. Just a couple of comments in general; first, I believe Kinetic Melee has at least one (maybe two, (sorry I haven't played the set since it beta'd, so I don't recall right off)) "ranged" attacks, so suggesting a set that has a minor range to it's PBAoE or Cone attacks isn't that big of a step out of bounds. Second, there is a unique self buffing power in the Radiation Armor (a previous thread. So, although a unique "Build Up" would be nice, I'm not sure it's necessary for the set. But, along this line, I've long thought that Radiation Melee should have a -Resist component to it, or perhaps better said, a "lingering" aspect (-Resist, -Def(?)). Maybe something like that could be leveraged to add a different flavor of "buffing" without having to set up a specific order of powers to build up attacks, or come up with another unique mechanic to provide a "build up" like power.
  2. Wyld, Yep as Sailboat said, that's the place. We keep the meeting place and time the same on all servers so TT participants know where to gather regardless of which server we're on.

Sailboat, look forward to seeing you there.
  3. Hi all,

That's right, it's time for TTJ (Tanker Tuesday here on Justice, March 8th)!

Tanker Tuesday is a player run all Tanker AT teaming event. TT is a two hour block of time where the Tanks take a break from protecting the squishies and gather with other Tankers to bring some hard hitting smackdown to bad guys of Paragon City, Tanker Style!

We run Task Forces, Trials, radio and standard missions and pretty much anything else the game has to offer.

All Tanks are welcome regardless of power set and level.

Scheduled this week (amongst the other mayhem) will be another thrashing of Romi on an ITF (Kanga Red to lead). This will be in addition to our usual teaming and TFing. *TFs are dependent on turn out and the whims of Tanking.

If interested in joining the fun come to King's Row and meet up with us by Independence Port Gate at 6pm PT\9pm ET (please line up on the wall). We'll get teams set missions and TFs fromed and get rolling from there.

Hope to see ya' on Tuesday!
  4. Brutal Monday tomorrow!
  5. Tanker Tuesday on Justice on the 8th!
  6. An intersting idea. I like the rotating -res, ie in that no one resistance gets debuffed constantly.

But enough of this Rangle, it's time for you to start working on Radiation Melee.
  7. Hi all,

Brutal Monday for March will be on the 7th. Meet in RWZ on the East side of main enterence bunker, 6pm PT\9pm ET. All levels and power sets welcome, as long as you're a Brute!

    See ya' soon!
  8. Hi all,

Here's the TT schedule for March!

    Champion on the 1st
    Justice on the 8th
    Freedom on the 15th
Protector on the 22nd (Here ya' go Kanga)
    Guardian on the 29th

    See ya' soon!
  9. Had a fun time tonight. Thanks all for showing up to the TT Tour. We were able to field a missions team and a Sister Psyche Task Force.

See you all next week on Champion
  10. Gratz and good job! Sounds like you have a blast, which is the most important thing.
  11. Hi all,

The Tanker Tuesday Tour rolls back to Infinity, TONIGHT! This is a player run all Tanker AT Teaming event. We meet in King's Row by IP Gate at 6pm PT\9pm ET to set teams and get rolling. Come join the fun all power sets and levels are welcome, as long as you're a Tank!

    See you soon!
  12. The TT Tour rolls to Infinity tonight! Be there or be squishy!
  13. Great job you two and it does look fun! So... we going to be looking at a "Plant 'troller Thursday" some time?
  14. Kiana Wolf, there is no min level. We usually have several lower level Tanks in attendence due to players wanting to try the AT, the event out, or vet TTers rolling new toons on a new server. TFs/Trials are announced at the beginning of the event and we see what the response is. We always run at least one mission team and add more depeneding on turnout (number of players and level of toons at the event). So, there is never a level or power set requirement.
  15. Denji, we "get" things rolling around 6pm, but depends on how much time we take deciding on the TFs and getting teams formed. You can always join the TankHQ channel and announce when you get on. Or shoot me a tell @Warboss and we'll try to get you set up from there.

Emberly, TT is open to all Tanks, no level restrictions. And the same goes, if you don't see us at the IP Gate shoot me a tell or get a message on to TankHQ and we'll try to get you on a team.

Sometimes it takes a few minutes to get on a team (or get another team going) if you arrive after the event starts, but don't let that discourage you. Be patient, we have a great group of TT vets that work very hard to get folks on a team.
  16. I know I've been away from the thread for awhile, I blame Rangle, but I'd just like to add my vote for Radiation Cloud (Aggro Aura) doing Toxic damage. Thematically it works, and adds uniqueness to the set.

I'm for the Hold in Radiation Cloud (Choking Cloud), but if there is a game mechanic that it's breaking then change it to -damage and/or -resist. I'd still like to see it as a minor Hold (mag 1) that is 1) Enhnacable and 2) can take IO sets. Other than the Fury mechanic issue, it would be a great way to keep the theme of the set going while bringing it over to the melee toons.
  17. Hi all,

Tanker Tuesday will be back on Virtue this week, on Feb 15th! Tanker Tuesday is an all player run, all Tanker AT teaming event. We run missions, Task Forces, Trials and pretty much anything else the game has to offer. It's a night for taking a couple hours off from protecting the squishies and hang out with other Tanks as we smash our way through the goons of Paragon City. If intereseted, meet us in King's Row by Independence Port Gate (line up on the wall) at 6pm PT\9pm ET and we'll get things rolling.

    Hope to see you there!
  18. Another great TTJ!

See ya' all next week for TTV (Tanker Tuesday on Virtue)

  19. Hi all,

Had a great turnout last night, 24 Tanks!! We were able to field two Kahn Task Forces, one finished and the other got skunked (we had a DC and 6 of us just wasn't enough to put the finishing hurt on Reichsman). I'm thinking it's time for a rematch next TTJ or sooner!

Thanks to all who came out and made the event possible. And, as always I'd like to give a big Nuclear thanks to all who lead teams, and help organize and keep the event running!

See you next month here on Justice, or on Virtue next week or on Infinity the week after!

note: I think Kanga is hovering out of frame...
